  1. When the uaw members in michigan can stop paying dues, iuaw is in for a rude awakening. They have no one blame but themselves.
  2. Really, no breaks and no lunch for 12 hrs. Do they make you wear adult diapers to, hope you're exaggerating
  3. Production resumes next week so hopefuly you won't have to wait to long.
  4. Unless you are skilled trades or lucky enough to be placed in the body shop you will be on days. Not sure of a date yet for a 2nd shift to start. Past start times were 5pm and 6:54pm. AWS is still a couple years out.
  5. I'm not trying scare anyone, just passing on what i know about the place. Information someone might find useful when making an important decision such as transferring. i doubt chicago even has 1200 people with 20+ years but thanks for your good wishes
  6. This is just a warning, if you are thinking about transferring to FRAP they have around a thousand members with 20+ years of seniority. If you want days you will be in trim & final. Good luck
  7. For the right dollar amount the majority would sell their souls.
  8. The IUAW made it clear unionizing transplants was thier top priority during are last contract negotiations. We really didn't matter to them since they already get our 2 hrs. pay each month. Well its been over a year since ratification, how many have been unionized? Ron Middlefinger and Boob King are the 2 biggest idiots to ever run our once great union. With rtw laws now passed in michigan we will now lose more dues paying members, thanks Boob.
  9. Wrong forum, post your crap in the political forum
  10. This is why flat rocks system of electing team leaders yearly is better. The team leaders kiss your ass so they can keep their offline job.
  11. Thanks for proving my point, it took you less than an hour to answer. go to bed troll.
  12. Since you've been retired for awhile now you know what a fixed income is right? I'm not retired and have been on a fixed income for i beleive 7 years now. An hour of overtime is like hitting the lottery. Hopefully when and if i ever get to retire i will have better things to do than troll bon and stir the pot.
  13. Our union!!!!! I for one will speak about the union anyway i want. Do you really trust these people to manage our health care money wisely, i don't. Current retirees who think they are getting srewed haven't seen anything yet. You call profit sharing free money, i for one bust my rear everyday and i feel i have earned every penny. If the union comes to us next contract and says we need 25% of your "free money" will you vote yes for that too. Damagedone mentioned fear mongers, he must be talking about the union reps that were walking the floor telling people they better vote yes or ford will give their work to a plant that votes yes. If you or anyone else thinks teir 2 wages will ever be brought up to to teir 1 level please share what ever you're smoking with the rest of us. Your union negotiated 3 raises for people that haven't even been hired yet. what about us, you know the people that come to work everyday and haven't had a raise in how many years? Speaking of raises we gave up our last raise to contribute to retiree health care is that 1 dollar an hour still going to that or did it just disappear? Please don't come back with in this economy we are lucky to have a job, because in this same economy ford has the money to give management raises and invest 100's of millions of dollars all over the world with money this membership helped them earn. The iuaw is in bed with the company and if people can't see that there is little hope for any of us. How big do you think the signing bonus checks for iuaw reps were? Profit sharing is based on hours worked everyones check is different. a skilled trades person woking overtime could easily reach that 12,000 cap. Until the membership finally says enough is enough our race to the bottom (teir 2 wages for everyone) will continue.
  14. Yeah dude this is the donut forum. All threads are about donuts, so unless you want to know the top selling donuts from 1932-33 you will find no info here, sorry
  15. Spoken like a true saline original (broke dick) LOL
  16. You're right the skillet you're standing on moves while you put your taillight on while joe blow has to walk sideways allday to install his radios. again please get a clue.
  17. For somebody who says they never worked at a parts plant you sure have a lot of opinions about them. Do you know they have assembly lines at parts plants and at most of them you work bell to bell. You install 70 taillights hr. at your assembly plant and joe blow installs 70 radios hr. in a dash board at saline. What's the difference. oh i know $14 hr. Alot of people at parts plants bust their ass everyday. Please get a clue.
  18. Yeah we just lay around all day and the parts build themselves, It's amazing
  19. I'll go s--l--o--w--e--r for you, did step 1 end ?????????? if so when did it end ? Us uninformed and ignorant members would like to start using are fingers and toes to start counting to 120.How about answering a question instead of posting the same response every time a EOS thread is started . It's a pretty simple question.
  20. Your numbers add up to 120 days when did step 1 officially end ? Jimmy settles called this membership uniformed and ignorant at contract ratification time, if we are, who's fault is that ? Please read s-l-o-w-l-y it's been over 2 yrs. people are sick of the smoke screen.
  21. Did you say raise :hysterical: now that's funny. By the time this contract is up that will be ten yrs. with no raise. I hope everyone still enjoying their bribe i mean signing bonus
  22. I have worked in many plants. I have seen all three different ways team leaders earn their position. The god complex is most common when they are appointed or bid on the job. Team leaders that are elected on a yearly basis do a much better job period. The nightmares i hear about dearborn are unbelievable. team leaders should not take attendance they should not give out job assignments and your vacation or personal time should not be at the mercy of a team leader. That is all managements job. A team leader should work for you and one that is elected does a much better job if he or she knows they will lose their $1.50 an hr. and be voted out for getting the god complex. Elections are the easiest way to get rid of a shitty team leader.
  23. I'm glad your happy (i'm not) and I'm glad you have no issues with what we got (i do, we got nothing) I'm glad your plant got work (even though your plant voted the contract down) but what about those plants that didn't get work (walton hills, woodhaven and twin cities now closed down) but what do you care your plant got work (selfish) How about 2 raises for new hires and 1 for the people that played a huge part in turning this company around. we haven,t seen a raise in what 5,6,7 years and we may never see another one. I don't care how much they pay new hires, if they don't make as much as you or i it's just a matter of time before they resent you for what you have and they don't. ( their benefits suck, shitty ins. and no retirement plan) When and if you retire from ford these are the people that will be voting on things like your retirement benefits. how do you think that's going to turn out.( clue not good ) Would i want to be salary ( hell no ) at least i can agree with you on something.
