I wish Ford would have allowed a guy like me to order the upgraded tail lights. That would be a Titanium with the optional "brake pedal in the middle" feature. Seriously, I'm already very pleased that the "optional" stick is available in the SE again with high trim level options. Save the manuals!

I ordered a 1.6 EB on May 25th with a 6MT. When the ETIS showed it built on 10/22, it has: ..... Active Grilleshutter Rocker Panel Moulding - Body Colour With Titanium Door Frame Mouldings Less Spoiler With Electrochromic R/View Mirror Dual Pwr/Heat/Mem/E Chr/Pud Lmp Mr With Front Seat Back Stowage Pocket Less Ski Bag Provision etc., etc.....

Page 239 of the Owner's Manual: OPENING AND CLOSING THE HOOD To open the hood, go inside the vehicle and pull the hood release handle located under the instrument panel. Go to the front of the vehicle and locate the secondary release lever, which is located under the front of the hood, to your right of the center of the vehicle (driver's side), toward the headlight.

While this has been been a long-time pet peeve of mine and "Job 1" when I get home with a new car, I must say that Thoroughbred Ford's is as close to something that I would leave on the car. Close, but not quite!

Ordered 5/25/12. Received VIN a couple of weeks ago. Label generated on 10/11/12. Still nothing in ETIS. Would love to stumble on a manual in a dealer lot to test drive just for the heck of it. Looking forward to being able to drive a stick in a loaded car. I took the gamble and ordered a loaded one back in May. The window sticker just came into the system. Nothing in ETIS. Not sure if it's built yet or not. I've never owned an automatic and hope I never have to.

The 6 MT disappears from the SE. Sigh.
