  1. Thanks for the info. I plan on ordering a Sport in a few weeks. How long will it take from the time I order to delivery?
  2. Hello All: Would anyone know when is the last day to order a 2012 Fusion? I did some checking on line and found a site that listed 4/6/2012 as the last day dealers will accept orders. Can anyone confirm that date is correct? Thanks!
  3. FYI. Europe with the exception of England is all left side driver just like the US.
  4. Good point. So I see you drive an Edge Sport AWD. I was considering that or a Fusion Sport AWD. I have only test driven a Edge AWD Limited and found it to be a blast to drive. Did you test drive a non Sport Edge as well before deciding on an Edge Sport?
  5. Just to clarify. Although I think the 2013 model is ugly I do think it will be successful. With every buyer who liked the old one and would not buy the new one there is someone who will like the new one. and hates the old one. I do not think the current one's styling is bland at all. Outdated? Maybe. But the new one will look like everything else in its class. At least the old one was distinctive in its appearance. The issue here is that Ford was forced to compete with the likes of Toyota/Hyundai etc.. While the current model is selling well sooner or later it would loose more and more sales to updated models from other manufacturers. I have a feeling that some current Escape buyers may be inclined to purchase a new Edge. I would. So perhaps that will help sales for that model.
  6. Would you know the last date dealers will be taking orders on a 2012 Escape?
  7. I say if someone is in the market for a Fusion they should get a 2012. If the new Escape is any indication of how the 2013 may look get ready for a bigger Focus. First Ford made all the instrumentation the same. Now they are making the outside all follow the same design. I just do not get it. Hopefully the 2015 Mustang will not have anything "kinetic" in its redesign.
  8. This truck is hideous! I think Ford just lost a large amount of potential repeat Escape buyers. Unless they buy the 2012 model which is a hot seller. I hope they do not ruin the Fusion as well !
  9. I just checked out the pics of the 2013. I like the updates/changes they have made. I will be ordering one of these as soon as I can!
  10. My wife has a 2008 Escape. She was thinking about get a 2012 but I told her about the new one coming out for 2013. If the 2013 looks like the pictures in the previous post she will be getting a 2012. This looks hideous in my opinion. The front is not too bad but the back looks like a Nissano Murano knock off! Why does the roof line slope down? Looks as if it is smaller than the current model. The Edge looks better. Just my opinion.

That's great. Do you have AWD? What year was your GT? I had an '02 and a '06 V6. They were not that good on gas but a whole lot of fun to drive. This year's Mustangs get better gas mileage then years past so it makes me want to get another one sometimes.
  12. What a great perk you have Joey! That is pretty awesome that you are able to do that. Thanks so much for all the info. I have had a hard time getting any type of answers from the local Ford dealers near me. As I have to wait until Jan/Feb I am going to have to either order a 2013 V6 (Pony Package) or a 2012 Fusion Sport. I have a feeling another "Pony" will be parked in my garage next year. My gut tells me I will regret it if I do not buy a Mustang before the change over to the new model which is probably being geared more to the under 30 crowd than me.
  13. Thanks again for the advice. I just checked AutoBlog.com and it would appear that the 2013 V6 looks pretty close to the 2012. My only concern with the 2013 lies with will their still be a Pony Package (love the grill treatment on that) and is the instrumentation still going to be the same as the 2012. I love the retro like gauges the 2012 has but I heard that the 2013 is supposed to have a small screen added to it? As for a Fusion the 2012 Sport AWD is my alternative to 2013 V6. The car would be my main daily driver. My idea was to order in February or whatever would allow me to have the car by April. So Just have to decide which vehicle. I know the 2013 Mustang would be the more exciting one to drive. The 2012 Fusion Sport AWD would be also fun but would be driveable in all kinds of weather. Is your GT going to be a daily driver or a "fun" car for you?
  14. Thanks for the quick response ice-capades. I see you have a 2012. Have you seen the 2013? Would you advise waiting for it? Or should I pull the trigger and go order a 2012 in the next couple of weeks? It would probably take 8-12 wseeks before I had the car. Correct? So we are looking around late Feb early March as a possible delivery date. Thought about a 2012 Fusion as well. Heard the 2013s will not have any V6 and my other car I am considering was a 2012 Fusion Sport AWD. The AWD is the only reason why I may pick it over Mustang V6 as I live on Long Island. Last two winters my '06 Pony Package was confined to its stable.. LOL!
  15. I agree with you on the tail lights. That is a neat feature and should be retained. I loved it on the original Cougar. I see you work at a dealer. Could you tell me when the last 2012 orders will be taken for Mustangs and Fusions? Thanks!
