I believe Sarlo was talking about the timeline for infrastructure to be able to handle, not whether Advanced Clean Car tech was or wasn't going to happen just when was the right time IIRC from the article.

Aways had Super Cab Rangers & F150's, liked the longer bed with the extra interior storage and the proportions from viewing outside look better then a 4 door IMO. Wish they would offer a SC on the new 6th Gen Ranger.

If nothing new replaces the ranger in 2 years when im ready for a new truck i will probably go with a Tacoma, the 150 is just to big for my needs(even configured as a SC with the short 5.5 bed)

There was a press realese that stated Dec 23 would be the end of Ranger production at twin cities
