  1. Your dealer should have had you sign something at closing that turns it over to the dealer, and they deducted it from your price. That is how it works 99% of the time.
  2. Most I've heard is " Ford is considering it", and it would be the same price or more than the facotey price
  3. I have noticed that also. I think they have just widened the normal range, so it gets their faster. Remember, it is no longer a direct thermometer, it just indicates normal/cold/hot. I would guess in the winter it will take longer.
  4. The back of mine lists 7S7-13L534-AAW Don't know if that is the p/n or not. Haven't tried to find it on fordparts.com
  5. And this is the way it is supposed to be. Fog lights are not meant to be used all the time as many people do, they are designed for very specific weather. Most states it is illegal to have them on in clear weather, but sadly it is not generally enforced.
  6. Havent heard anything, but I would expect soon. The only thing that may hold it up, is that I've heard there was a major shake-up with MFT dev, due to all the bugs
  7. I have seen the same behaviour. It does one wipe when I start the car if it is in auto mode.
  8. No, pair being fron or rear. $99 total. They want another 100 for install, but I'm doing that myself.
  9. They are decent. Haven't really decided what I think yet, but I kick my boots on the sills, which is why I got them.
  10. I bought then on fordaccessories.com for $49/pair
  11. Can they be ordered w/o the entire exterior protection package? I don't remember seeing them alone.
  12. The lower number comes from cars with select shift. They all have dual clutch, but the testing procedure with select shift is different. Real world economy should be identical if you keep it in D
  13. I think the problem is 'it's complcated'. You would probably have to time the interval between wiper runs, and if more then x occur in x min, then turn them on, and then turn them off if none have occurred in X sec, otherwise they would be turning on and off all the time. Not saying it wouldn't be easy to do, but it may not be the behavior they were looking for.
  14. Most domestic makers don't do DRL, unless they are being shipped somewhere that requires them - like Canada. Most foreign mfgs put DRL on everything, because almost everywhere by the US requires them. In fact, DRL is only a fleet option in the US. The Ford 500 was the same way, but you could give your dealer a few hundred dollars, and they would work with Ford Engineering to flash your car with the DRL code.
  15. Mine seems to be a bit warm too. Temp seems to move in large increments for me too, my guess is that the temperature is actually measured in ºC (or maybe half ºC), and then converted to ºF. This causes a the temperature to jump more.
  16. That just means that they haven't updated it with the full info. It will show giberish until a few days before your build date.
  17. Ill see if I can get some details, but so far I have none.
  18. It was a disconnected cable, that I apparently just didn't see.
  19. Haven't tinkered with it much yet. I'm making a mod that makes it start by cell phone, so range won't be an issue. I mainly don't like that if you a Titanium, you have to have a second key fob for the remote start.
  20. Mine seems to be right on, with ~70 being comfortable. Mine moves in 1º increments I'll check when I get my car back. IIRC I have chimes settings, but hill start wasn't there, only traction control. Yeah, I don't remember seeing that, only the MFT master reset. Correct, the display doesn't match their promo pics (even the big banner in my dealer has what appears to be the Euro control display. Mine always shows both, and they are locked together or not, there is no other way to see dual or single more. Yeah, I haven't run across a way to put it in accessory mode yet, but I havent tried really hard. Another one I'll have to look when I get my car back. Do you have a moon roof or not? That changes the lighting. Yeah, I never got a key code either, and one wasn't with my manual (where my previous dealer put mine).
  21. Yeah, I may get 90% or greater (almost completely transparent) tint all around, as they reject UV/IR much better then the factory coating on/in the windows. It would be illegal here, but unless you actually look for the edge of film, you wouldn't know it is there. Because of that, I'm not too worried about getting ticketed for it. We shall see, haven't decided yet.
  22. Yes, but the ICE button get used by 99.99% of the drivers all the time, while the paddles would get used very rarely. Ford isn't marketing this as a sports car, it's a mass market car. I'm sure the ST will have paddles. I agree with the other posters, I've had no problems with the location of the select shifter. I don't really get the argument that you have to take your hands off the wheel, from the same people that want a manual instead... Um, I'm not sure how you shift a manual without taking your hands off the wheel...
  23. I will just note that no amount of tint is legal on the windshield and front side windows in Michigan. The law saw that 'any film' applied to the windows is illegal, unless you have a Dr note saying you need it, in which case nobody but you is legally allowed to drive your car. Not saying this would really be a problem, but I just thought you should know that it won't be legal.
