Hello again! the 1000 rebate was until july 2 for our area (Fl) and maybe yours/look under ford.com-yes I could of had them look up the coupon as it was prob on computer-but was so excited forgot until the next day! We did get to Gatinburg and rented a cabin 4 miles high on a mt!! Ecco-boost was great-it felt like a 6 only when you go from a stop or very slow to get onto I-95 do you notive it-and a few times on the mountain roads!!Today used the Explorer to buy 2 rugs!! We went with our CT200h(Lexus) but had to go home for the suv! My daughter (in NY) got a 2012 white explorer that was a demo!! My son had his 2004 explorer fixed and inspected to use for work as his 2012 blue Mustang convertible got hit in 2x in his work parking lot and a ticket in Virginia!! Though it is such a sharp car!!

would you believe the $750 coupon came in the mail today!! We were supposed to go on vacation so we wanted it by Tues am. so we bought it. Didnt go away yet as hubby has cold!! Boo hoo!

:shades: Thanks to all of you on the boards! We went to look at the 2013,s and came home with one!! A ruby red LimitedEcco=boost with 20 in polished wheels and a moon roof! We used the x-plan, but were not lucky enough to get the $750 coupon, but did get the $1000 rebate.They only had 3 exploreres, ours and 2 xlts! It rides great. The only thing is that it took our cells, bur couldnt load phonebook, they said that the phone is too old. They also gave us a small electric grill as we had a long wait for the paperwork to be done. MY son does the La conte trip in same day- I'd have to stay overnight! (booked a yr in advance ) and I don't like the part where there is a ledge and a great drop-heights are not good for me! Will most x plan dealers let you take a 2012 from their lot when they come on in sept or do they most likely make you order? I know they have the option.

Will have to check out Lake Lure area. My son has climbed Mt. Le Conte twice- A little too much for me-though my son is trying to twist my arm-We like the trails that aren't as challenging! Where we stayed looked out onto Mt. Le Conte-Oct was so gorgeous there! These forums are great! Thanks!

We like Smokey mt National Park-Stayed in condo in Gatlinburg-last 3 times -we would like a condo, but not at a resort community. we like the surrounding 20 milesor so. Where in Nc is your place? Near the huting area? We like the ashville, hendersonville area and almost bought there before we came here.

Yah-thanks We will have X-plan-so far it looks like we will have to go to Daytona bEACH 6.5& tax though Estero (ft meyersarea )has 6%..--- We go to Costco and Orlando shopping, and travel to tenn mts so need more space to transport ; also want to get tow package--- Stay cool-93 forecasted for today

We saw the spectacular launch from about 13 miles away! It was a tremendous feeling-so proud of our country!. We heard the roar and saw the gold flares coming from the craft- amongst the clouds- beyond words: ,We usually see it from our front yard, or hear the boom coming in, but happened to be in Merritt Island that day. Where has the time gone? Yes I too remember Alan Shepard's flight. Don't realize how blessed we are. Hope to buy the 2012 Explorer and join the Fordies!
