  1. Ford Just Released An All-New 2023 Taurus Sedan (motorbiscuit.com) 2023 Ford Mondeo / Fusion Spied Completely Camo-Free In Michigan (motor1.com) Hmmm where`s the hole in the left fender for the extension cord? Oh wait only here where we have been told what we want do we get the extension cord units and of course "we" don`t want a unit with the sedan label anyway?
  2. Over the last few weeks there seems to be some interesting info just slipping out on the rona field of play. The numbers game is giving way to or finding some resistance by those interested in the total`s given over the last 18 months. Rona numbers, game players are re spinning some of their accounts in the last 18 months. This rewordings (slightly) by the rona numbers gang are starting to open up a box of questionable stated total`s and category's or labeling of rona patients. It has been stated on so many releases in the mainstream media by experts that as if these totals were coming from a burning bush. 800K plus Died, NYC Epicenter of Death, and so much in the way of other fear being passed along that most just figure that being labeled as a case was... the kiss of death. Well, then comes the word game or spinners if you like, "Cases" umm maybe that wasn`t the best choice of word? "Incidental" umm just heard that word a few days ago, what's that about? Then... the spinners go from their kiss of death totals spin to, umm "maybe there`s some over counting going on?" Whaaaat maybe that has something to do with the word spin? Remember the questions asked way back when the profit seekers started the rona game? Those morbid, uncaring and terrible questions about dying "with" or "because". Anyway, I`ve been conned on occasion, so that is why I am a questioning soul. I think we will see more of the interesting word games being played soon. I could go on about the word game gangs use of the word "test" but, I`ll let this interesting site (most likely already labeled as completely goofy info by numbers game gang) that goes into all forms of the gang's totals and word games and gives some interesting info, facts and data. 7. Looking around here at CAP it is very apparent that we are in some kind of different place from just couple years ago or so. We have this unsure feeling on just about every subject related to assembling units to maintaining equipment, parts on hand and just something simple like cleaning the place. The workforce hourly and salaried has pretty much become completely unengaged with their operations, the parts they work with much less the finished products we send out the door are just something in passing. High level managers are in some kind of dazed state of... we need the units, we don`t have the parts but dam it we need the units... anyway so send the unfinished units to the D/T lots and count them in our daily numbers. The leave and never return is at a level I`ve never seen in all the years I`ve been watching from the inside of our paradise. CAP went from 1800 to over 5400 hourly working stiffs and now there`s less than 1000 vested working stiff. The new faces never seem to stop changing to even newer faces. Then there`s the make believe world at CAP. FTT numbers higher than ever, FCPA results prove everything is GREAT and Quality is at an all time high.... but AWOL`s consistently running at 20% to 25%, double up`s everywhere, move operator`s to DELTA and QC operations that umm well just do as their told, kinda. Where will Ford be as a member of the business society? Making electric units? Saving the world from green house gasses? Making everyone included? Pretending the bubble they`ve been riding isn`t going to pop? With the leadership in place on the law making level and the conforming to every trendy issue Ford is trying to keep up with, one can`t help but wonder, where all this uncertainty is headed. Any thought`s ???

  9. Lets see, are we getting a clearer picture the further along the democratic socialists' path we get? Gas prices? Food prices? Inflation? Deadly exiting policies? Throw the gates open and leave them open policies? But there is relief in sight, E85 crap and a Ford 3% increase in our hourly rate this year.... (Cost of Living increase )
  10. Don`t talk on the book of faces or to the twitters about the Ford facilities. OR ELSE..... Ok Ok I`ll watch what I say. (big brother is watching) But there`s one shortage that I just got to point out, "Experience". Back in the day (<-- yeah I`m old) if two experienced decision makers talked it over must likely you`d have a workable plan or a point to start refining the plan. Today... you can put a bucket full of these diverse decision makers together on a WebEx or in a conference room and you get the completely screwed up plans that come out their not a drop of common sense faces. BUT.... we are posting profits I guess whoever figured out that expanding the final assembly process all over the countryside was a frickin genius, definitely one of the better guessing decision makers. Who`d a thought ground based and overhead conveyance for moving units would give way to tractor trailers for final assembly. Ford is multi national, inclusive, a rainbow coalition but over flowing in manufacturing application background and experience? not so much. Remember the decision makers great idea for profit making....the Sollars - St. Petersburg plant.... ahh experience.

    Two Divisions

We have worked with multiple divisions in the past. Ford - Mercury - Lincoln so company divisions isn`t a new cooperate situation. Now, Ford Blue - Ford Model e: Ford will scale up our BEV capacity to 600,000 by the end of 2023 - and that's just the beginning. Henry gave people (his customers) the freedom of the open road. I wonder where the freedom will be if everyone has to live by a charging schedule? Yes I'm old school but, not a hater of new idea`s. Maybe the Henry`s of today have it all figured out. To give one a perspective of what it was like crossing the nation in a model T back in that models day, check out the latest documentary called the Long Way Up. There's an old saying that is applied to two wheeled journeys and that can apply to any journey really, "it`s not the destination it`s the journey". The first episodes put`s into perspective in a sense what it must have been like to get into your model T and head out. But in this day and time will people be free enough with their time and schedules to except the freedom governed by waiting for charging? In the documentary not only are the bikes electric but the chase SUV` are also. The documentary turned from the adventure of the journey to a docudrama of such. Finding the fuel source became the whole content of the first few episodes, the journey was in a distant second place. This changed only when the fuel source was all but edited out of the story line. Then the documentary became much more visually appealing. But in real life there isn`t a film editor and things would be much different than the documentary. Many things have come a long way from the model T days, comfort, speed and the open road it`s self. But one thing has stayed the same for older transport machines, the fueling schedules have stayed as short as one would want. Freedom of the open road is in many ways going to change.

To so many of the group that questioned most of this woohann stuff, this will not come as a big surprise. Here are the facts: "WaPo" (yeah I know WaPoo) First, children are not at significant risk of poor outcomes from COVID-19. As of Tuesday, 288 children have died from the disease in the United States, compared with more than 500,000 adults. While the death of any child is devastating, this is similar to the number who dies from influenza each year. And COVID-19 deaths in children and adolescents are magnitudes smaller than deaths from suicide, some now driven by school closure. Coronavirus in children can cause potentially dangerous complications — e.g., multi-inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) — but this is very rare and in nearly all cases treatable. Second, viral spread is minimal in schools with appropriate safety precautions, even in communities with a high disease prevalence (significantly higher than the CDC red zone that the CDC suggests middle and high schools be all virtual and elementary schools hybrid). Dr. Hoeg led a study of 4,876 grade K-12 students and 654 staff members in Wisconsin school districts last fall. COVID-19 test positivity rates reached 41.6% in the community during the study. Notably, despite the majority of ventilation systems not being replaced, with 92% of students wearing masks (no mask wearing during recess), and with variable distancing, there were only seven students (five children grades K-six, and two in grades seven-12) and zero staff who contracted the virus in school. Similar experiences are published from North Carolina, South Carolina, Chicago and other cities and countries. Remember it`s always slipperee when progressive....

Gunna be a big old sticky ball of poop rolling over most everything. There are a few catches in the transfer language that may make most of the rumors just that, rumors. Basically your home plant can hold up transfers because the plant is experiencing manpower shortages. Then like CAP the new facility was filled completely with new hires, because of "person" power issues. No transferring from the main plant. CAP pulled itself off the "excepting plant" status list, for only one reason "legacy" benefits. Hold off writing any checks on that 100K moving allowance rumor. Purchasing a place to live in Tennessee is going to take a lot of bucks, just like everywhere else in this sellers market. Good luck, hope things work out.

Slipping out? naa the facts are jumping at the 81 million that bought a ticket to the circus sideshow... The cheerleaders in the media want us to believe that Russia is our biggest problem when it comes to price spikes, but the data tells us our co-presidents have been the biggest obstacle. All the way back in January 2021, AAA recorded the biggest jump in the national average price since 2009 (surely it’s purely coincidental that 2009 was the beginning of the previous progressive administration). Caution: Slippery when progressive

akirby, I agree with the enthusiasm for the Bronco and it's what so many have been hoping for, for years. But the pre orders and now regular orders are for? The people ordering Bronco`s haven`t thought about a full electric Bronco. As for aftermarket accessories once again, I can`t agree more. But the Bronco was built with aftermarket "Ford" produced or sourced accessories. The house of Ford is going full throttle profit. The Bronco is another bring it back to your dealer for everything. One thing most Wrangler owner wants are things they can do themselves. Lift kits, Wrangler you will never run out of different suppliers. Bronco well maybe but lift kits for the front suspension may be a Ford only kit. As for both Bronco`s yes there are a long line of trim level packages to pick from. But once again you are not personalizing your Bronco or baby Bronco. But really what percentage of aftermarket parts will fit into the picture it`s too early to tell. But I was talking more in line with the average customer accepting the wait time for full electric. Yes in a few or so years maybe the battery R&D will catch up. But our Farley brother is stating 600K electric units in place to sell by the end of 2023. I really hope if (and that is a big If) they all sell, and the recalls are minimal. Because Ford (marketing and decision makers) have a record of over loading manufacturing with options. Then ranting at the grunts who try to produce what the marketing people think (most have never seen a paint department or final assembly department) should be so easy to produce. I`m just old and like what I like, 74 pan head, 84 block head. George Smiths aftermarket products on both. I love the sound of that old F150 and its looks oh and the manual lockers. As for my great little Focus I guess I`ll drive it till I can`t drive it. Then the Accord Coupe looks really good. If it's still around. Never really warmed up to a soccer mom`s station wagon or as they`re called now SUV. Those 4 foot tall pretty 4x4`s that can`t pull themselves out of a sandbox or have never seen anything but pavement just ain`t me. But that's just an old ICE preferred long haired grunt. Not a judgmental type, I say like and/or drive whatever one likes.

    Missing Person Report

Ok I know, the keys and lock might happen again... but I had to forward this..... March 2020, watching a local newscast. Two Sheriff deputies were chasing a man across a beach that, but for those three, was empty of humans. The shirtless guy hadn’t killed anyone, stolen a purse, or even jaywalked – his crime was just being on a beach, by himself. LA County had decided that it was a public health hazard, just be on the beach. Later, LA County was taking outdoor basketball hoops either down or covering them up. Tons of sand were dumped into skate parks to prevent their use. Across the country, people were masking outdoors and yelling at people who weren’t. I was yelled at several times by people a hundred feet from me — for not wearing a mask. Why? Tony said so Grocery stores were being overrun. Not a roll of toilet paper in sight. People were buying items that they likely hadn’t bought, ever. Why? Tony said so Mask up. Don’t mask up. Double mask, triple mask. Two weeks to flatten the curve. Why? Tony said so Never again shake someone’s hand. Why? Tony said so Sanitize your groceries, don’t touch anything. Not a bottle of sanitizer to be found. It’s airborne. It’s on the furniture. It’s airborne again. Why? Tony said so Six Feet Distance. “It’s the science” Why? Tony said so The virus came from bats. The virus isn’t manmade. It didn’t come from a lab. Don’t blame China. Why? Tony said so Take the jab, you’re protected. Take the jab, you’re kinda protected. Take the jab, it’s better than nothing. Take the jab and a booster. Wash, Rinse Repeat. Why? Tony said so American’s highest-paid government employee. Why... makes ya wonder.

There are a lot of good business scenarios and akirby`s is one. The Ford food truck is switching to the lobster rolls and I think it will work out for the profit side of the scenario. down the road. But, the Ford food truck isn`t the only food truck with the lobster roll ideas. Every ten minutes it comes on the big screen in our family rooms the commercials from every other food truck from KIA to BMW. All businesses are running full stream on this. Then again the Ford food truck has a slight edge and that is the Ford hotdogs are still selling out unlike the Tundra, Silverado etc etc. So the cash flow is far from restricted. Which is a good business situation to be in while R&D pulls hotdog money from the food truck. Having the number one selling truck, forever and the number one selling full size SUV is something other food trucks can`t use in their attempt at pushing the lobster roll out the service window. So yes I do agree the Ford food truck is in a better place business wise. Will the change on the menu work? The curious buyers are already in line. But will these "I just had to have one" or "I`m the first on my block with one" buyers be an asset? That will be as always one of the possible two sides to the marketing blade. The early bird buyer might be happy or not so much. The under side of the marketing blade is as it has in the past not so good for the new products that just fall short of the just gotta have one crowd. Talk around town is the Ford Food truck crew is working hard on two ingredients. Batteries & cost, if the first ingredient is achieved by having a truly rapid charge system the second ingredient may be over looked for a while by the curious buyers. And give favorable reactions that will pull in the Jane & John Doe peeps into the dealerships. Maybe. As far as those thinking of the cost reduction in labor, well Chicago & Louisville etc etc have multiple facilities and there`s multiple represented work forces at these facilities. So as far as the Ford Food truck crew looking for ways to trim labor costs, umm have those suggesting this seen one of the last 4 or 5 UAW contracts? The labor cost is one of the factors you`ll see a profit check next week. Of course there are those at CAP, you no the sky is falling peep`s, CAP is finally closing!!!! Oh yeah those someone told me, I heard and did you hear peep`s are wetting their panties with this latest information. We "CAP" can`t build these units because we don`t have the room. We can`t build`em so they`re closing SHO Center first, then TDM then CAP too eventually. After dam near 46 years I still can`t figure out what these knuckleheads get out of the "did you hear" conversations....

    Mandatory Employee Vax Reporting

As of 04 Mar. 2022; The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has changed its recommendations on indoor face mask usage and, as a result, we are updating the face mask protocol in our U.S. facilities to align with the current CDC guidance. Starting Friday, March 4, Ford facilities that are located in areas with a green or yellow status will no longer be required to wear masks while indoors. Ford will continue to provide masks for those who voluntarily choose to wear them, and team members should continue to follow Ford’s guidance related to the use of cloth masks placed over Ford masks and the use of their own KN95 or N95 masks. As of now, facilities in Florida and Nashville remain in orange status and all employees and visitors are required to continue to wear face masks in facilities located there. Ford will continue to monitor the data and if locations are reclassified for seven consecutive days, we will adjust the mask requirement accordingly.

My point is just "time", our society is one that we and corporations have put in place the time schedules that governs everything. "You" need to be at work at, you have to be over there for this at or why don`t we take that flight because it gets us there earlier. Now maybe not everyone is scheduled out to every minute but most everyone at one time or another has passed themselves coming and going. Maybe there will be the day that the time consuming charging schedule will be nothing more than the old school pull into the station plug in and 5 minutes later you`re rolling again. Maybe? Full electric is definitely the way of the future, according to the trends. But, have we kind of forgot about a unit that can keep up with our busy schedules? We still have PHEV`s rolling down the line. A unit that charges itself on the go. A unit that can go non stop for thousand's of miles. But, the trends or fades make the decisions.

    Interesting Parts Slipping Out

Slipping out? naaa Interesting? not really. It`s just showing how the flip flopping starts in the press by some heavy hittin left of center rags. From todays New York Times, “So, has Russia become Venezuela or is it still Iran?” Hmm where are all the out spoken DSA members of congress? The russian pin drops and you can hear it all over DC. Not a word from those that use the word Democratic as an engine to pull their Socialist's train? Nothing from our DSA members right here in the UAW? The "UAWD" noooo not United Auto Working Dudes" the "Unite All Workers for Democracy" guy`s haven't put out one of the UAWD fliers calling for the end of the russian invasion? Wait he can`t because the DSA has completely pledged their support on social media and most likely financial support to the Unite All Workers for Democracy. That`s most likely why it`s so quiet from the Chairman of the UAWD that is a member of UAW Local 551. Our resident comrade knows better. There is a large group of United Auto Workers at Local 551 in full support of the Ukrainian people and have great respect for their President. (hey old guy in DC we need ammo not a ride to exile) Once again those that have had their democracy taken from them and won it back are more than willing to stand and fight for the democratic process. Democratic Socialist's of America (DSA or Bernie Boys or Squad) and their comrades in the Unite All Workers for Democracy will use the word Democratic only till their Socialist process is in place. Then All Worker are Comrades.
