  1. First Impression: :hyper: :hyper: Gotta wait until there's some decent light; and I will try and get some good photos of the car. So far, I am honestly in love with everything about it. Only minor thing I noticed first, the step out is a little longer than you think, so you have to watch not to scuff your rocker panel on the way out. I'll do a more in depth review once I've had the car for about a week or so.
  2. I saw mine :D.. That's it for now. I appear to be the only one on the road in the area right now. And yes, the lights stand out. At night, the LED ring around the center piece is very bright, almost look like your brake lights are on.
  3. Getting about 26ish right now combined, still working on the first tank, have a lot of idling and stuff right now as I am playing around with the car. But, so far it's looking good for only having a little over 100 miles on the car haha. With these photos, I randomly woke up last night at 4am, so I ran outside to take a few photos before I forgot again. So they were done rather quick and against the garage door. Didn't get a chance to play with the color temp on the camera or anything, so I'll work on some better ones for tonight, and from a little further distance, as well has the drivers side not cut off by my retaining wall. But, it'll give you a bit of an idea. It is a rather sharp cut-off, but there is the hot spots that may reflect and scatter a bit, running a kit may not be an issue, so there's only one way to find out
  4. Might be from the tinting application, it'll probably evaporate. I noticed like maybe a half inch of condensation, while looking in the mirror, didn't crawl back there and look though to see if it was on the inside or what..
  5. You never know, tell them it's for parts or product development ;p
  6. Should get your hands on a set of the recalled headlight assemblies from a dealership for a proper retrofit or modification, unless they have to send them all back or something.
  7. Awesome. Been a great post to follow for sure. I've only had mine for a day now, and I honestly cannot wait until the next time I have to go out. It amazes me every time. Such a great handling car.
  8. I haven't done a full tank yet, but according to the car, doing a bunch of driving so far, some spirited, some in town - and mostly cruising, the gauge is averaging in around 9-ish L/100KM, pushes lower on a fresh reset on highway, which works out to around 26-ish mpg (US). And the car currently has about a hundred miles on it. So still very early.
  9. I'll see if I can't get this done for ya, if no one else comes up before me and does it', I'll see what I can do.
  10. You're going to have to take it back and tell him just that. Get him to remove it and find someone else if he feels like he cannot do the job. Mine for the most part looks great, only a couple streaks that will dissapear soon, no scratches or anything. So it has to be his fault ;/
  11. Not sure what to tell you, I'm still trying to figure out the intelligent access thing. I feel like an idiot again! I'll definitely be reading through the manual as bedtime reading material. hah
  12. Here's a few shots from this morning when I picked mine up. Gives a view at a few different angles. Overcast, and in the show room with the 35% all around, nothing on the windshield.
  13. I had mine done at 35%, as I drive a ton at night, and don't want to lose too much more light. Looks amazing in person. Going to pick it up within the hour, may have a few "in showroom" pics to add later today.
  14. My Father just sent me this, it's inside the showroom in town now apparently, ready for pickup. Windows are tinted too... sh** it looks good.. haha
  15. As far as I know, even part of drivers training, and road testing for licenses, you're supposed to signal 3 full times before switching lanes, so I do agree with akirby. 3 Seems to be a good number for regular lane switching.
  16. When I was at my dealership yesterday he was telling me about some of theirs being in the TBD hell, so they've done some cross-dealer trades to get a few more on their lots, since they only had two. I think they have a total of 5 now? They've sold two already, I'll be the third. He said it's been a pretty slow month for sales anyways, but it'll pick up. Still have yet to see one on the road.
  17. Yeah, mine has to be done too, the car is slated to be picked up tomorrow. If they haven't performed the update, I'll just book it for another day. Not too concerned. Just want to drive it :D
  18. It took a good couple days for the build date to show up, with no added information below, then that came a few days again after that. Mine was also originally scheduled for the 12th, but ended up rolling off the line on the 14th, so I guess it's always +/- a few days
  19. Driver assist package will do the work for you. :P I'm used to push stalk to on, pull stalk to off system and pull again in the off/low beam position for a flash, anyways. I'm sure I'll figure it rather quickly either way.
  20. Yeah, it seemed like they roughly give it two weeks ETA after it ships from the factory. Everything may have just happened to fall in place for mine, but the exact time-line is in the sig. Mine was built the 14th, shipped on the 15th/16th. Had an original ETA of Dec 2nd, then it got bumped to Dec 1st. Arrived in Toronto and received off the train on the 25th. Arrived at the dealership on the 28th (evening). Really did not take that long from factory to dealer, to be honest
  21. I did get a look inside the grille on mine lastnight when I stopped by the dealership at 4AM (lunch break at work), the car was just delivered down to my local dealership branch, and it does not have the shutters. I can see the spots where they would be attached, but there's nothing there.
  22. Same thing happened with me. Cyberdman gave me the ETA of Dec 1st, and in transit. Natasha on Facebook also gave me the Dec. 1st ETA, Ford Canada told me it was "In Production", and my dealer just told me as of this week Dec. 10th was their ETA on this weeks order information. It showed up yesterday.
  23. If you check it up on the ETIS website, it'll say; "Drive: LHD 4WD (FTD) - The window sticker should also say AWD at the top
