  1. Haha, nah. They didn't ask. I posted the photos to their wall, and they simply shared it to their home page. I don't mind ;d It's created quite the debate. Apparently I must work for Ford now because all my photos on Facebook are "promotional" pictures. That and people think the car is stuck. :p
  2. Opposite side, just on the east side of Lake Huron, in Southern Ontario Canada. Still "Lake Effect" snow, they're calling for more, but it's eased off for now. The AWD in that snow seems fairly well split front/back. If you tromp on it, it'll throw more to the rear, which can kick the ass end out a bit. It doesn't have the display for power distribution though. It just feels pretty well rounded.
  3. Yeah, riding on Blizzak WS70's. So that does help a lot!
  4. Plowing snow with mine this morning, oh holy hell snow fall..... wtf LOL The car shows no signs of slowing down, the AWD works great! I parked and drove through, snow up to the doors, and burying past the fog lights. and pushing snow past the license plate. And it moved right through it like a bawse. Pics are from my cell phone, so quality isn't too great. And on the ride into town;
  5. Interesting. I figured the Fusion would atleast beat out the Accord. I knew those two would have been close, but I didn't think the Fusion would hit third place.
  6. All these cars are looking amazing, even dirty :D Still have yet to see one driving around, but I have spotted to parked around locally. One SE in Ginger Ale, and an Ice Storm Hybrid. Still in love with the car hah.
  7. Hell, my 84 and 88 Nissans have the sensors. My traded in 04 Explorer had it. Maybe I've just been spoiled with vehicles that do have the warning light. Like I said, not upset or anything, just a little shocked. Also didn't think I would have used a whole tank yet, but I do go through a ton in the winter.
  8. Lol, It doesn't bother me. Just ran out and thought to myself, "wtf no warning?" - Figured the car can park it damn self, but they didn't put the low fluid sensor in there. Just have to remember to keep topping it up periodically.
  9. Nice! Glad to hear it's finally on the way! Exciting day!
  10. Noticed the other day the Fusion doesn't have a low washer fluid warning. Thought that was a little odd.
  11. Has anyone completed this yet? Was contemplating doing this in the new year. Just curious as to how the beam pattern is with the HIDs in the halogen projectors.
  12. Just the drivers side and the rear view for me. I find the passenger side mirror is far enough away from my line of vision that it doesn't affect me like the drivers side one would.
  13. NICE!!!! Merry Christmas to you!
  14. It's on mine aswell. I have the 4, Climate, Phone, Navigation and Entertainment
  15. Thanks! I'm just about over it now, was a little pissed for the day, but now that the car was covered in snow, I can't see it. Out of sight, out of mind ;p I'm sure it'll be as good as new! First battle wound. I'll be happy if when it's fixed it's just not as obvious, I can live with a slight,(and I do mean slight) wobble. It's a black car, so it shows everything hah
  16. Sad thing is I wasn't even parked yet! Just enterning the parking lot, and it came at me lol. It's about the size of a tangerine, so it's a bit larger than a quarter
  17. Especially when the car isn't even a month old yet, that's when it really sucks! lol
  18. Sure, I can do that! I was told that it will look like nothing ever happened. I am a bit skeptical as it's a black car. Kind of expecting a bit of a wobble to still be visible.
  19. I am now the owner of the first dented 2013 Ford Fusion! That's the last time I ever go Christmas shopping. Looked to my right and a wind whiped shopping cart was hauling ass towards my car. Going in first week of Jan. for PDR (Painless dent removal) Not a big dent by any means, but it's a brand new car!#%%!#$!
  20. I was actually going to say that, I wonder how much the Hybrids would benifit from having and using a block heater. Sure, you shouldn't have to use one to achieve the numbers, but it could definitely help keep the averages up during the colder months. Mind you, the increased costs of the electricity usage vs the little fuel usage may just balance out anyways. Maybe a timer to warm it up for an hour or so before you're set to head out. Even my AWD model, which is on the opposite end of the MPG scale for the Fusion, having the car fully warmed up definitely changes the MPG output. I can see how the summer time would be a real plus for all of us. Luckily I have the block heater in mine built in (Canada) so I could utilize it at any time. However, I've always been nervous about using them due to the wattage and electricity costs.
  21. Holy hell. I just did the fresh reset, exact same trip as my previous two, cruise control set at the same speed all the way home. Only difference.. Temperatures above freezing, 39 degrees, roads bare, climate control off.. Here are my numbers for this trip; Right after reset number started at 9.9 L/100km (23.7mpg) then started to fall during cruising Number observed midway home: 7.0 L/100km = 33.6 MPG Average by the time I hit the driveway: 6.6 L/100km = 35.64 MPG Lowest number hit after coasting down into town to the speed limit: 6.3 L/100km = 37.34 MPG This trip feels like mostly uphill at times, ability to recoup the gained numbers on the hill down into town, coasting to the reduced speed limit, and resuming light acceleration once at the town speed limit, then the numbers tend to go up a little bit while I go up the hill on the end of town, and leveling out by the time I hit the driveway. It's kind of fun seeing how low can you go with the numbers, but again it consists of a lot of coasting when ever you can. It certainly isn't super fun being so aware of the numbers I like to just drive it and not worry about it, but, it's fun right now. The super light cruising trips home are bringing down the average l/100km for this tank, which should hopefully reflect upon my next fuelly update. Just gotta keep myself from doing anything silly with this tank, it's so hard not to have a little fun with the car! :D.. Again, these resets are optimal conditions, low speed limits, car is fully warmed up and having been drivin for a while before the all highway trip home, which to be honest isn't very accurate for an overall average, but shows what the car IS capable of in some conditions. The neat thing is the Trip 1 & 2 Gauge, you can select a basic, or advanced display. The advanced is almost like a Fuelly upload in real time. Has the distance travelled, MPG average, Gallons/Litres used for that trip. It's a cool screen. I reset that at the beginning of the fresh tank, and randomly reset the instant mileage gauge to see what's going on in real time, and let the other one do the overall average.
