  1. Just checked mine out today, 12T08 is gone, and has been replaced by " 12A04 - SYNC WITH MYFORD/MYLINCOLN TOUCH - APPLICATION PERFORMANCE UPGRADE" I'll ask my dealer about this on Saturday, fiddling with the car this morning, everything appeared to work fine, pretty quick, no delays in voice commands or anything.
  2. I haven't taken full delivery of my car yet, but I guess I will find out soon enough. As far as I know it's a full time AWD system.
  3. Just wanted to thank you for all the help you've provided me with over the course of this order. My car landed at my dealership on Wednesday the 28th. A few days ahead of schedule. Without the timely updates you provide here for myself and everyone else as well for no charge or hesitation, the waiting game would be much more difficult for sure. Once again, I really appreciate what you're doing here on your own time to help us out and ease our minds. Thank you! Fresh off the truck!
  4. Haha, the temptation was there. Still had the plastic strips on the exterior handles covering the chrome <3
  5. I went in and saw the car this morning, pretty much fresh off the truck still. Dirty as all hell, but basically went over the deal, take a look over the car and picked a day to have it ready for pickup in my town. I went with Saturday morning. They're going to try and get it slotted in for the tint before pickup, but if they can't get it in before that, I'll schedule it for Monday or Tuesday. Can't wait to see her all shined up :D Just a few small pics for now.
  6. Yeah, I think it comes standard on the Titanium, maybe optional on the others. I've never used a block heater before. But, if I were to atleast it's in an easy to get to location. Looks wise, it doesn't bother me to have it there.
  7. Haha, thanks guys :D It will be an exciting day. I probably won't be able to drive her home tomorrow, gotta get the tinting done - Or maybe take it, then make an appointment. I'll find out tomorrow morning how this is exactly going down.
  8. Just got a call from my Dealership. The car has arrived... Go take a look tomorrow morning, and go over details and such..
  9. Mine is still only showing the 12T08 - OR TO SALE
  10. I signed up, I'll see if I can remember to do this lol
  11. That's odd, mine was built Nov 14th, and shipped on the 15th/16th. It should be here any day now. ETA was still on track for Saturday, Unless for some reason it's on hold now without me knowing yet.
  12. Haha, I'm a little worried about mine right now, it's a heavy car, AWD, but with 19's wrapped in all seasons that according to spec are decent in "light snow". Up in my area, not unusual to get a foot or more of snow at any single givin times, plus high winds and drifting off the lake. I may end up buying a snow package yet. When I first bought my Explorer, I think I was at the wash about once a week, temperatures didn't matter to me, cannot stand a dirty vehicle, and winter salt kills cars up here :D Your car looks amazing. Black looks awesome in the snow.
  13. I ended up going with the Employee pricing discount that was offered back in August through Sept. It's locked in on my deal unless something that works out better for me comes along. I inquired about the winter package, but I'd have to choose between that and the Employee discount. $3700, or snow tires. I go with the discount :P Window tinting, I opted for, they're going to have it done for when I pick up the car. He may throw it in on the deal, I haven't pressed him on that one yet -- But by the looks of things, you may actually be getting a hell of a deal.
  14. My V8 4x4 Explorer with chunky off road tires and a lift makes about 14-15mpg combined. It's bound to go up for sure. It has to! Or there is something wrong there. I bought this car with the impression of great fuel mileage for an AWD Sedan, and should obviously be better than my Explorer.. well.. should be.. Even if it doesn't make the EPA 31, which I know is a bit extreme, it's gotta be hitting mid 20s on the highway at the least.
  15. Mine will be in the driveway, I have two Nissan 300 ZX's in my Garage, lol. I work nights, so it'll be in an empty parking lot with no risk of being dinged.
  16. Haha, I doubt that. We have the option of having an SE AWD too, though
  17. All Titaniums in Canada are AWD. Looked up the one at my dealership, and it does read "Active grilleshutter" It's VIN is 3FA6P0D90DR136168
  18. My Titanium lists it as no, I thought maybe it was a climate thing, (cold climates vs fear of freezing up and burning out the motors) but the other Titanium at my dealership has them as far as I know,.
  19. I think Ford Canada is financing at 2.99 right now, (It was 5.99) I think when I first ordered. But, that's only if you finance through Ford Credit, the dealerships usually use outside banks and such that have better terms and interest rates. Not sure what mine will be yet as I have yet to sign any finalized paperwork and the rates are always changing. But, last call to my dealer, he told me the rates were a lot lower now than when I first came in.
  20. Buyers remorse! I had that feeling half way through my order process. I went in to add the Driver Assist package for the hell of it, because it was taking so long, I'd saved more money than I thought and was bored, and it turned out my car had been serialized, and was getting ready to be built, so they couldn't add the package. I could have re-ordered if I really wanted it. However, it was a last minute decision to spend more money because I had saved more money for the down payment. Not really the best thinking on my part to be honest. I'm somewhat glad that I couldn't add the package, and saved me the $1500 again. hah
  21. Haha yeah :P It makes it really hard to see if you've actually had a deal or not unless your dealer lays everything out. At least with mine on the sheet, it has a Discount subtraction that comes off after the MRSP with options. I'll find out for sure what I will pay on the day I sign the final paperwork. I just did a temporary mock up at the time that had the discount applied, as we didn't have a VIN, or anything official on the car. Just a generic pricing printout that didn't include my down-payment or trade in allowance. As my trade in/downpayment have obviously changed in the 3 or so months since ordering hah. The discount stuff ended Sept 30th, so with me ordering the car during that discount stage, I'm still entitled to it when the car arrives, or what ever deal may be greater when I take delivery.
  22. What they do there, is on the Ford.ca website, they add in the total Ontario fees of $100 AC Tax, $30 Tire tax, $1550 Delivery, and they add the 13% Tax at the end to give you a total "out the door" price before trade in or down payment. The only way to calculate the MRSP of your built order before tax, is to put the total tax dollars, but leave in the fees and delivery, and it'll give you the MRSP before tax. If that makes any sense. Since MRSP on the sticker includes the AC Tax and Tire Fee as options, and the delivery too. Trade in value comes off before tax, and down payment comes off after tax. With certain things, like my order, I think my discount is around 3300, but since it's applied before taxes, it's actually more because I would have paid more on that if it were taxed at the higher amount. So, I can add that as a "trade in" value, because it comes off before taxes. The Titanium in Canada is only available in AWD. Which base MRSP is $33,999 Or an easier way is to just take the $33999, and +++ your options. The window sticker also adds in our delivery/ontario fees, that'll give you the quickest answer to the MRSP before tax. And since his dealer stated he wouldn't have to pay delivery, that'll have to come off in the "Trade-in" section too, which is another $1550 before taxes apparently.
  23. Haha, thanks! I'm hoping it will arrive a day or so earlier. A little odd in my area, as my dealership has a sibling franchise about 40 minutes north, which is more of their "headquarters" in which my car will end up being delivered to, so it'll have to get transported down here after it's dropped off there, have the inspection/tests done, windows tinted, all the licensing and paper work done, as well as my trade-in stuff, and what ever else needs to be done. So, it'll probably be around mid next week I'd imagine, (if it stays on track with this ETA). Happy to know it's in Canada anyways! I'm sure yours will be on it's way soon, it honestly cannot be much longer ;/
  24. Not bad, I find the photos a bit over processed for my tastes, but well done. Pretty decent review too.
