  1. Congrats - she is a pretty car.

  3. I find Ford's Fusion hybrid Ti trim roll out odd. First they offer the the gas Fusion in Ti - but apparently won't offer the hybrid in Ti. Many folks folks order adjusted SE trim (and report they would have waited and ordered a Ti trim if they could). Then in October, well after announcing the Ti trim as the top gas Fusion trim and the SE as the top hybrid Fusion trim, they announce they will the Ti trim to the Fusion hybrid - with dual integrated exhaust tips that later disappear. Now it seems scheduling/production of this version is in the dreaded "TBD zone" while, reportedly, Energi Ti and gas Fusion Ti's continue apace. There are also reports that Ford is no longer accepting any orders for the Fusion hybrid Ti trim. Anyone who knows anything isn't speaking publicly. Wonder what could have come up with this version (and avoid the gas and plug in Ti versions) given that it has been planned since well before last years Detroit auto show? The Fusion seems to be a great car - sorry to see Ford stumble so with its roll out.
  4. Cool - thanks for the reply. My dealerships reports they are in the dark as well. Rumor mill (supported by dealership) previously had scheduling starting in early Jan with production starting in early Feb ... and thus far nada, zilch, nothing. The Energi Ti trim is reportedly being scheduled and my dealer says there is now a hold on accepting any more Ti Fusion hybrid orders. Weird. And a bit frustrating for those of us with pending orders. Of course, there are much worse problems to be saddled with in life :-). I would appreciate you posting anything you hear - thanks again.
  5. Thanks for the posts. Any word, jpd80, on whe they are going to build the Fusion hybrid Ti's?
  6. There was a previous delay in availability in the 18" wheels that one can't opt out of for the Ti trim. Perhaps that is the delay? Who knows - as per usual, Ford isn't telling anyone what is going on.
  7. Yea! And offer more options on wheels and interiors! I'm afraid I don't think it is likely. But hope springs eternal ...
  8. Sounds about right ... Ford customer care is indicating a similar time table.
  9. Nobody knows the troubles I've seen ... Nobody knows my sorrow ... Wish she were coming sooner - but will be all the sweeter when she finally arrives. Nonetheless, delaying my gratification so has made me so much more a better person that, really, a reward is obviously in order ... perhaps some crucial Fusion accessory or three?
  10. Same thing that happened to the start date of 1/7 :-( it would seem.
  11. I think you will be happy with whatever you opt for, Elle. Plus you live in California :-) Beware the "premium" floor mats, bk. Many have said they aren't worth the price. Have the dealer show you some ahead of time so you know what you are getting. I am trying to work a deal to swap out the stock Ti wheels for the 18" 5 spoke. Likely ain't gonna happen, but a boy can dream.
  12. Sorry to lose you, Elle. I will miss the dual exhaust but will console myself with the Sony twelve speakers, push button start, ambient lighting, intelligent access .... I can, however, understand trading away some of that for nav or lane keeping etc. They aren't for me and I am a bit of an audiophile. If I found out the Sony went the was of the dual exhaust I would join you, Post pics! Welcome, bkmartin. What color and options did you select?
  13. I have posted several inquiries on the FB pages and gotten nowhere. Zip, zero, nada - no reply. They use those things as a one way street (get info out - not engage in a dialogue) and as a means to cull glowing praise statements from folks on their products. One would think with CR's hit piece and the EPA investigation they would be interested in assuaging or, at a minimum, engaging those concerned with mpg performance, Nope - the only 'action' I have seen was to ban acdii. They continue to pretend nmadole doesn't exist. I doubt given their motivations they will hop to for purely cosmetic reasons (fake exhaust tips, interior color and wheel options, etc). But perhaps I am overly cynical. Y'all find a decent site where someone, anyone at Ford responds and I will add my support.
  14. I haven't a clue. Acdii has gotten absolutkey nowhere and the dude has been all over the web. They don't seem too receptive / reposponsive in my estimation. If you don't know someone who knows someone you aren't going to get any reply. But, hey, on the off chance you get someone to listen and not pay empty lip service that they "care" ... mention the lack of interior color options and wheel choices on the hybrid Ti's as a problem as well. Thanks and good luck.
  15. Thanks for the heads up. Gonna go download the MFT app now.
  16. I think that is great news. Can't wait to see some build dates assigned :-)
  17. Regular hybrid, no. Energi hybrid, yes ... ~$3K is what I have heard,
  18. I would wait til Fri am. Scheduling occurs from what I hear ~Thu evening into Fri and fusionTX already got the "Unscheduled-Clean" yesterday. If you get the same reply you have to wait 2 more weeks before Cyberdman will inquire again on your behalf. Though, of course, if your dealership is on the ball you could always inquire with them on the alternate weeks. Good luck.
  19. I remain hopeful ours will be built before the goverment decides that hybrids need to be made purposefully noisy. One would hope that the wheels in goverment turn slower than those of Ford.
  20. My dealer confirmed that for the Titanium trim one can choose any interior one wishes - as long as they choose black. He had no clue as to how many exhaust tips would come on the car - though his opinion was one.
  21. I am willing to wait for one that gets good mpg, trunk fit, headliner etc. Nice avg. so far, Jeff.
  22. Elle, I hope it will occur naturally with the random distribution of numbers. Hopefully there are enough posters now to have a decent spread. Those I have seen thus in our little (some more than others) pensive HyTi club: cwb1183 ChuckOkie36 Elle jsellar Fastronaut neod192 Pers69 PhantonTech Wazzul Delnatha Lgbeach loosta Former Expedition owner HyTi Fusion BadHorseChorus fusionTX TriDave Jeffh - (bailed for a SE, but has a HyTi Cy bread he may request to completion)
  23. Right, ~$150 cost. Ordering the regular (no illumination) sill plates costs ~$50. If anyone is able to order lit sill plates from their dealer for less than $150 let me know. It is just a little rich for my taste at $150. Think they are pretty lit - just not willing to shell out 150 myself for the ability. I, personally, would rather they lit the drink wells as they say they would as part of the ambient lighting package (but I heard they haven't been on gas Ti trims).
