Hey so I had the recall work done this weekend and the gas tanked replaced. I can't tell you if anything is any different yet a I am working on my first full up with the new tank installed. One thing I can to you is that when they dropped the old tank and inspected it they reported that the Evap line in the tank was out of position and was getting in the way of the float valve/sensor in the tank. To me, that could explain why the DTE would read zero miles to empty yet I could still drive passed that point without running out of gas. I always would fill up with about 14 gallons used and could put in 14 gallons of gas so that part was working right. I will see how things go with the new tank installed.

I am getting a new gas tank and the recall work will be done. Will keep you posted as to whether anything is better with this done

I have a tank on order and should have the tank replacement along with the recall work done on September 7th. Can report back after that.

The color options is not new. The option for that was in the settings for the back up camera. What this update did was to have them turned on as the default setting instead of it being an option. That is why you are noticing it now. As for the surround sound issue. I have a titanium and it too does not stay on when you set it up. It would have been nice if it was fixed but Ford did not specifically list it out as a fix so I doubt it was addressed.

Don't think surround sound is fixed. Just picked up my car from the dealer because MFT crashed and had that bad smell from the AC, Etc. repaired MFT and did the update. I changed to surround sound and went home. Just went out and it changed back to stereo. Car goes back into service in a month to have the recall done and needed a new gas tank to fix the poor mileage/DTE zero....based on one of the TSB's. 2013 titanium, 8.500 miles on it

I have the same issue and drives me crazy that I have to change it all the time. If anyone finds a fix please let us know.

My style I would say is fairly aggressive. Daily commute is around 36 miles...half highway, half regular roads. My point was that my previous car (2010 fusion SEL withy he four cylinder), driven the same way, same commute, got well over 340 miles per tank. I expected to get less mileage given this is a bigger engine, but not this much less. I do not believe this is a gas tank issue, but real world mileage is based on the entire system. To understand our results, you need to look at everything that effects this.

I just want to know when I am going to be able to get more than 280 miles on a tank of gas. My 2010 fusion which yes, had a smaller engine than my 2.0 got mileage of over 350 miles on a tank of gas. I have 2,700 miles on my car now....my DTE will read zero and will drive another 10 miles or so. Fill up when it says 13.7 gallons used. Out in 13.7-14.7 gallons when I fill up. Sorry but I should be able to go at least 300 miles on a tank of gas.

Question....this plastic cover people are talking about around the rear view mirror, is it supposed to be on regardless of the trim package and options, or is it only supposed to be on those cars that have a front camera for lane assistance? My Titanium Fwd does not have that option nor does it have a cover over the wire

Has anyone that might need seatbelt extenders been able to find any for the 2013 Fusion? I have contacted Ford and it does not look like any exist yet for the new Fusion. I am really surprised that Ford would launch a new vehicle and not have a safety critical item such as this available. I have one child in a booster seat still and she has a hard time buckling her seat belt due to where the buckle is located.

Put some touch up paint on but almost think it looks just as bad. I think I need to get some rubbing compound to smooth it out and hope it blends in better. So bummed out over these stupid scratches
