  1. Kindly asking for another update on the above VIN
  2. Well no, but why not on the mustang or even the Taurus SHO? Hell, if orange was available for the C-MAX I would have gotten orange over the current choices. Not saying make it a standard color, just have it as one of the "premium" color options.
  3. Gave them an earful because they keep promising me update calls but never call me. To get an update I have to go in and sometimes they use the "Sorry I am new here" excuse as a reason to not look up something in the computer. Sorry cheif, you were here when I ordered my car 10 weeks ago. If you still consider yourself new then your training sucks. I have plenty of patience, which is why I ordered what I wanted to start with, but when my delivery keeps getting pushed back they could at least call me and tell me the status changed vs calling in and getting a "Im sorry I cant look that up in the computer right now, I will call you back later" and not getting a call or update for a few days until I go there in person. If I could just look it up myself it would solve that. I dont mind delays in shipping as long as I can stay informed. If you want something done right....
  4. Yeah, when I was shopping around for a car I was disappointed in how few different colors are available by nearly every company. I didn't want a car that blends into every other grey/white/black color out there. I wish Ford made the bright orange, green, & metallic blue available on the new Fiesta available on all models. For my new C-MAX I went with blue candy since it would stand out the most from every other car out there.
  5. Hi! Id like to get an update on the VIN # 1FADP5BU7DL532270 I know its en route, Could you kindly get me the railcar # along with the status? (So I can look up future tracking on my own and not bother you very much) Dealership refuses to give it to me :-( Thanks for your help and for providing this service to us :-)
  6. So... I bought a C-MAX SEL (/w 303a, sunroof, blue candy color if anybody is intrested). Had to order it from ford since nobody around here had the config/color I wanted. This is my first brand new car. Infact its only my 2nd car ever, lol. I am still currently driving my first car (which I have had for 12 years now). My delivery date is coming up (car in currently en route according to the dealership) and I am just wondering if there is anything special to inspect before accepting delivery. I am unsure on the quality assurance process on both ford's and the dealership side.
  7. I know my dealer is starting to get irate with me and my constant request for updates now that the financing is all signed for. My delivery date just got pushed back and I gave them an earful the other day. It would be nice if we had an official means of getting updates on our own vs having to go into the dealer.
  8. If its the one that was posted in the thread then I disagree about it killing the cmax. It looks like a squished escape. Loses all headroom of the c-max
  9. The run flat tires are a good sugguestion. I will have to look into that before I start going on roadtrips. Although a random question, I know the C-MAX has those low rolling resistance tires to improve MPG, Do they make those that have the run-flat magic?
  10. I personally went with the hybrid. Mostly due to the increased trunk/storage space, plus my trips to work are 16 miles each way. If I was able to charge at work (We dont have EV chargers yet, id have to ask my boss if I could run an extension cord out to the parking lot) I might have considered it but after doing the math it would have taken me at least 6 years to see any savings from the increased cost of the car. Plus I am coming from an older camaro, I want to have a trunk again, heh.
  11. I hope they are truly successful. Tesla is the only electric car I have considered owning just because their range bests all the the other competition out there. Focus EV, Leaf, Spark, etc all have around 80 miles of EV but The model S does 200+. I hope they manage to mass produce their battery tech better in future years to drive the price down to something that everybody could afford.
  12. I dont understand the camoflague paint jobs that they give the test cars. You can still make out the lines of the car with a good picture and usually Identify what it is.
  13. I was surprised that these were not an option when I was looking at packages for the C-MAX.
