I ordered a 2013 Edge Limited a few weeks ago. This is the first time I've ordered a vehicle and I am excited about getting the new vehicle in August. I've owned Ford vehicles for over 40 years and always bought from the lot, this is my first one built to order. The dealer gave me the VIN, 2FMDK4KC1DBC76214. Is there any way to see where it is in production, delivery? I'm anxious to get behind the wheel of my new Edge. Thanks

I have a 2011 F-150 with Ecoboost and have not experienced this problem. I hope it stays that way. Good luck with finding the cause of your problem.

I have a 2011 F-150 with Ecoboost. The dealer said it can not support a snow plow. However, I've heard there may be a manufacture that has a plow that won't void the Ford warranty. Does anyone know it this is true and who the manufacture is? Does anyone have one and does it work? Thanks

shaggy314 - thanks for the info. My F-150 does not have the button start but the new Edge I ordered will. I'll check out the Ford phone app then.

rabotang - I ordered almost every option available as I figured if I'm ordering I may as well get the works. Equipment package 302A (panoramic roof, nav system, adapt-cruise, power liftgate, vision package, etc.), 20" chrome wheels, cargo accessory package, leather trim seats. I think the only options I didn't get are the towing package (I have an F-150) and the backlit door lights. The total price was $42,095 before taxes and rebates. It's a deep impact blue with light stone interior, I know it will look great when it arrives. My dealer just placed the order, no deposit and we'll finalize financing upon delivery. I expect to go with the Ford zero percent finance deal. Hope this helps you decide.

To me it's all about responsibility and accountability. If you do the crime you do the time (significant time for violence and not just a slap on the wrist). If you need medical help for a mental condition get it. If you don't get help and commit a violent crime you should be prepared for an extended stay in a mental institution. Guns are not the only method for violence, so any violent method should receive the same penalty.

I have remote start on my Ford's but it would be a nice addition to have the capability on a smartphone, I like the idea.

In today's world of electronics it would be nice to have the option of checking your order yourself and not waiting for the dealership.

Regardless of marketability and profit, my wife would like a small truck than the F-150. She is petite and finds it a little intimidating to drive the F-150. We had a 1996 Ranger and she loved than vehicle until we traded it in for a 2010 Escape.

I have a 2011 F-150 4WD with Ecoboost and 13K miles. I drive in a mostly rural area and have not had any issues with the Ecoboost yet.

I had a 2006 Ford F-150 with 4WD and 42K miles on it. It was very reliable and I never had any problems with the truck. Until my wife got into an accident in May, 2013. She was fine as it was a side to front end collision and the truck protected her. However, the F-150 ended up with major damage and was totaled. I used it to plow my driveway in the winter, which lasts for awhile in Northern Maine. I had bought a new Ford F-150 4WD with Eco boost in 2011. I love this truck too but it isn't designed for snow plowing. So, this winter I'll be back to snow blowing and wishing my 2006 F-150 wasn't totaled.

I ordered a 2013 Edge Limited with this option. Did your situation ever get fixed? Is there a way to turn off the option if it's not working? Do you know if this is a common or rare problem? Just curious in case it should happen after I get my new Edge.

Just signed up in Blueoval. I ordered a fully loaded Edge Limited AWD on July 9th. I've owned Ford vehicles for over 25 years and this will be my first Edge. Anxiously awaiting the build and delivery. I just receive the VIN number from the dealer today so the process is moving!
