Not disagreeing with what your saying but why has every shift been working max over time since the announcement of them eliminating the shift if indeed the focus and cmax has been over built.

If focus sales were down 20percent like they say they were, all 3 shifts could have went down to working 32 hours and kept up with that demand. It would have saved some jobs from being lost

You watch how many Saturdays we end up working because only running 2 shifts won't be able to keep up with demand, them eliminating this 3rd shift is going to backfire on them and cost the company more in the long run

Still don't understand how MAP has been working max ot ever since they announced they were eliminating C Crew due to slow sales. If sales are slow, why work ot to add to the overstock??

I heard its around 250 people that are getting laid off right away then around another 200 or so will be coming back on July 6th and they will eventually be getting laid off. With more rumored postings coming up some of those will end up staying if that rumor is true. Those that are laid off will more then likely end up at FRAP if they add another shift.

Some are coming back on July 6th then will get laid off some time after that. I heard there's a good chance some of those will end up staying.

Every big city is bad that's why you live in the suburbs. Downtown Chicago is a cool place to hang out, there's more to do there then in Detroit. And Cleveland at least you would have high seniority as far as tier 2's go if the rumor is true about them not having any tier 2's at that plant as of right now.

Only rumors of it now but I wouldn't count on it anytime soon, depends on how good the Lincoln their getting sells..

Yes their supposed to be increasing it but when/if they do that it will create more jobs because their going to have to "lighten" up some jobs because you won't have enough time to do it with the increased speed.

Don't be surprised if the cut off date for tier 2's change allowing more to stay at MAP. Between Livonia supposedly having more postings and then the upcoming postings at FRAP for around 50-60 and them speeding up the line at MAP which will add more jobs. I can see the cut off date moving into the mid April-mid May depending on the class sizes..

There's supposed to another posting for Livonia but only tier 1's will be able to bid on them not tier 2's...

Haven't heard what the "new" cut off date is yet. Only thing I've heard is that the bottom 200 tier 2's with the lowest seniority will DEFINITELY NOT be coming back after the shut down. The union should know the new cut off date by now,

Heard from multiple union reps that bottom 200~220 tier 2's definitely won't be coming back to MAP after july 6th
