  1. This dealership SUCKS! They told me on Friday night that they didn't know when they would have it. Told me yesterday they still hadn't seen it. Maybe they should open the blinds and look outside?
  2. 7k = Warranty. Take it to the dealer and have them track it down.
  3. Cyberdman if I could get a final update please 3FA6P0LU8ER245100. Thanks again!
  4. No. Minimum time for shipping is going to be about a week. How far that time goes depends on where you live. In washington state it runs about 4.5 to 5.5 weeks. It might be possible if you live in Mexico or Arizona.
  5. It may be that you had ordered an option that was not being built during that time or dealer didn't have the pull for a better priority.
  6. Scheduled to day means that it is scheduled to be produced (or built) on that day. Wait a couple days after that date and get another update.
  7. Thank you Cyberdman! I'm guessing that ETA is going to get moved up a bit, that location is only 17 miles from the delivery dealer.
  8. Wondering if someone can give me an update on 3FA6P0LU8ER245100? Thank you for any info you can provide.
  9. If you're looking for something van like you'd be smart to check out the Flex. So far that is the direction I'm leaning for my next family mover.
  10. Any idea why? They don't usually do price changes in the middle of a model year, just change incentives right?
  11. http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/download-software-updates-sync This is the website to download the updates. AKirby is correct. You have to register and login to download the update.
  12. Ice-capades, I'm not saying you're wrong so don't take it that way but what I'm being told by the delivery dealer, who has shown to be full of it before, is that they do get it on their visibility report because they are the delivery dealer. Why they refuse to share the info I have no clue. I wonder if someone here with some experience could confirm that they would or would not have this vehicle on their visibility report?
  13. My understanding is that all updates are only available through the dealer. Should cost less than $100 for the most recent update.
  14. LOL. Richard Jensen summed it up I think. It makes sense.
  15. I guess this isn't so much a competing product but more like a business that Ford got out of. Why doesn't Ford have a family van any more? I didn't even realize that Ford quit making them until I started shopping around and the closest thing on the Ford side is the Edge. Where did the minivan go?
  16. And my name is not on it as the owner but my name is on the order as the person who the vehicle is to be delivered to.
  17. Wouldn't it be faster to just answer my question and give me the one and only one update that I've asked for then it would be to ignore me and then have to field 15 or 20 calls for the same damn thing? I do not know what the dealership receives exactly but I do know that it runs roughly $550 between a negotiated delivery and doc fee and a pre delivery checklist and inspection. I know they aren't making a lot of money on the deal but I still don't think that one update in a 4 month process is too much to ask for.
  18. That is the issue I have here. I didn't get to choose the dealership because it was ordered by my company. I have already talked to my company about it as well and they say that they've had similar issues with this dealership before so it's weird that they are still using them but what can you do.
  19. I guess the part that irritates me so much is I know that the information is so easy to get yet the only people willing to help are the ones on forums like this one. I've special ordered one Ford prior to this one and got a couple updates (built on, in route, almost here). With GM, actually Chevy only but I assume that it is the same system for all of GM, as sales people we got updates on special order vehicles and they were usually about 48 hours behind but at least we knew where it was in the process and a rough Eta. Same when I ordered my Cobalt, I had updates along the way and the vehicle arrived 2 days before the original ETA. Fords system seems to be a lot better and a lot more accurate so why can't I get anything? I will be looking a Ford for my next vehicle but definetly not this dealer.
  20. OK, so this is half question and half rant. Why in the heck does Ford make it so damn difficult to find out the status on an ordered vehicle? Isn't there some way to get an ETA on an ordered vehicle through an official means? I have a 14 Fusion Hybrid SE on order that has already been built through a fleet order for my company car. I know from you fine people and the FFH forum that it was built and shipped on the 18th (coming to Seattle, WA from Hermosillo, Mexico) . So I reach out to the company that actually orders the vehicles and they tell me that I have to contact Ford through online chat or E-mail for an ETA. Ford customer service directs me to call the dealership that it is being delivered to. I call them and get routed to the fleet manager that informs me that he doesn't get any information until the vehicle actually arrives but that the retail sales manager gets the reports and to talk to him. I call and talk to the sales manager who tells me that the vehicle visibility reports are proprietary and confidential documents and that they are not allowed to share any information that they receive off of them to any one including any of their own staff and especially the fleet manager. He tells me that it could be delivered tomorrow and it could be February but that they will call me within 48 hours once the vehicle arrives. I know that there are people on here who can pull those reports and give info but I don't want to spam a bunch of crap just to get the post count necessary to ask for an update. Why can't Ford just provide a public site to access this same information? I know they would have to filter it down and remove some items from public view but at least give SOME info. The sad part is when I receive this vehicle I am planning on trading in my current vehicle and the family vehicle for a new family vehicle and wanted to look at Ford for the replacement but this whole experience is turning me off from Ford completely (and that is coming from someone who currently owns 2 Chevy's so you know the level of satisfaction that I'm used to).
  21. Here's my timeline. 2014 Fusion Hybrid SE. This is a fleet order so may be slightly different. Ordered: 11/11/2013 Build scheduled: 12/16/2013 Built (Per ETIS): 12/18/2013 Shipped: 12/18/2013 ETA: No one has any freaking clue!
  22. I once worked for a GM dealership where they did a buy back on a new car due to recall work. The issue was identified on the first visit, wrong part on the second, faulty part on the third and faulty install work on the fourth. This was all over the course of 6-8 weeks and the vehicle was finally shipped back to the factory. Customer got a brand new off the line replacement one model year newer.
