  1. It might be time for alarm bells at Lincoln, says iSeeCars Lincoln landed the “top spot” among slow-selling brands, taking an average of 82.6 days to move inventory. Infiniti wasn’t much better, at 79.8 days, and Buick came third with 79 days to sell. Slowest-selling new cars of 2024 Lincoln: 82.6 days to sell Infiniti: 79.8 Buick: 79 Audi: 75.1 Ram: 69.7 Ford: 68.1 Dodge: 67.4 GMC: 66.6 Acura: 65.4 Lexus: 64.5 https://www.autoblog.com/article/slowest-selling-new-cars-2024/
  2. I agree that a screen doesn’t make the interior, but considering that in this case the screen is that big, it kinda does. Also, I am not acting like that, I’m just saying that it doesn’t make any sense IMO to share the same screen layout. sadly we haven’t seen the Navi interior but it is very likely like the one on the Nautilus. aside from the vents, it seems very similar to the one on the spy pics, also take into account that now the rotatory shifter seems to be near the screen, in a position similar to the push bottom transmission from the Nautilus is. but as you say, let’s wait
  3. Yeah, that has been the case since 2003, but then again, why change it now? i think that people do care, IMO there are different segments but as you say, let’s wait for the releases.
  4. but again, how do other automakers can but Ford doesn't? Also if Ford doesn't maintain the investment and further differentiation for the Navi, how will they accomplish more sales and greater volume? Also as Andrew says, the Nautilus got the coast to coast screen and there's no Ford counterpart yet. Materials and aesthetic is not enough, maybe it was 20-30 years ago but not anymore. If that was enough, don't you think that other automakers would do the same? Considering what you are saying, the Yukon and Escalade should have the same interior as the Tahoe, but that is not the case Agree, it makes no sense, everybody else that has a luxury brand debuts new tech on the luxury brand but as you say, it seems Ford needs to have the name get stuff.
  5. I agree with you. It is really disappointing that the Expy is getting the Lincoln coast to coast screen. As you have said, nobody aside the Escalade is getting it so, I really don't understand the reasons here and it should have stayed a Lincoln exclusive feature. The coast to coast screen is pretty new and from what I have read it was well received so it makes less to share it with the non-luxury models.
  6. hope so, the current LWB versions from both the Expy a Navi are shorter that the competition. The Navi seems to get a different tailgate design with the current plate at the bottom: not sure if it will get the split-tailgate design:

  8. Agree, there was no need to tease it. IMO a miss opportunity to show something else that could help the company to reduce the noise about the delayed EVs
  9. Agree. It is very weird the way they manage the Lincoln brand. They don’t keep the momentum going. If there aren't any EV is the near future, there needs to be something else for Lincoln aside refreshes
  10. Agree but in that case why is Ford so behind for example GM in the full size SUV segment? It seems that Ford only can focus in one thing or max two at the same time.
  11. Yeah but it is the 3rd time this products are delayed, couldn’t they have discovered it before? also you need a balance between the efficiency and the products because if not you are always going to find something new or an improvement to do and in that way you wouldn’t launch anything

  13. AR Nav Night Vision Air Suspension Digital Rearview mirror A better surround view 360 camera
  14. Agree, an improvement in those departments + better tech
  15. I think the current frontend design looks better. the interior is improved. I hope the Navi gets a screen this size! It supposes to get the same interior style as the Nautilus

  17. Sad to read it, Hope it is not shelved. Maybe the current customers won’t go the EV route but this could be a way to attract new customers, specially in China, after all, from what I have been reading, almost all the new brands and products are EVs or Hybrids in China. Not having a EV or any Hybrid option in the last few years is one of the reasons Lincoln is not doing well anymore
  18. Hope U760 is not cancelled So far we have only heard about the U759
  19. Wasn't CD6 a complicated/conflictive platform that has generated many problems in the Explorer an Aviator? 🤔
  20. Ok, but on what projects? The delayed EVs? we are not seeing anything new so far instead 🙃
  21. Yeah, everything is about the ROI and the total revenue and profit for each vehicle, not only sales, but are you telling me that Ford can’t find a way to make it profitable and others do? Well, considering all the mismanagement that is happening lately it is not surprise
  22. Yeah but why? it makes no sense, most of the luxury brands have a vehicle in that segment
  23. it doesn't make any sense to take it out of Lincoln vehicles, specially the biggest models like the Aviator and Navigator. Also as RMC says, removing features while increasing the price isn't good
  24. maybe the headlights a bit? On the other hand, Why there isn't a Lincoln version?
