Man, every time I come on here its loaded with garbage. No wonder our union is losing its ass in every contract year, the rank and file let the BS, and the i heard and the word is blind them. Just stop and use common sense with crap like this

Yes, several TPTs from MAP are being sent to Dearborn Stamping. No full time employees are going to Dearborn. The bottom 130ish are going to ISA, and above them are all staying in their current areas (final, paint, body)

i wouldn't mind it, i want B shift. Works well with my household Final is 1 shift Body, Paint and stamping is 2 shifts no "supposedly" about it, that is what it will be

Ive heard there is a good chance those at the bottom end will land in ISA. In any event, long term we will be fine, as people have said 1000s times already, its all part of the autoworker life. Be smart with your money, live within your means, steer clear of credit cards and loans and enjoy the time off when you get it

Nothing I love more than being forced to work 5-10s just to have them send us home early damn near every night. Id rather work four 10.7s or 11s and have my Friday off back to spend with my family

Same boat here, my wifes career isnt one where she can just up and leave. My 6 year old son is in school, one he really likes. And my mother is battling cancer, so the last thing I want to do is leave Michigan while shes going through this.

Lets get a petition going in every plant to DEMAND the use of electronic voting systems. There is never a fool proof way, but this is 100xs better than plastic bucket. Be the change you want to see. If not, quit complaining

Itll be one shift after the changeover. And all they have to do is send those who dont make the 1 shift at MAP to other plants and no jobs have been lost
