I have the lifetime oil change club and the dealer sets the changes at 3170 miles. That's good enough for me.

I only get the directional Right/Left wipers from Ford. they have a directional air deflector on each one which is why there is a separate right and left wiper. At $17.48 each, a very good premium wiper. part# for Ford 17528: ww-2802 Left, ww-2803 Right. , Rear is ww-1204

I've long believed that Unions are ticks that suck the life blood out of municipalities, states, feds, and companies. They bankrupted the city of Detroit in more ways then just the auto industry and many other cities cant bring in enough to pay for all of the unfunded liabilities. I place the lion share of the US auto industries decline on the unions. If you have to pay more than the foreign competition for wages and benefits, you will have to charge more for your product. Publically owned companies are simply doing what the market allows them to do.

I got the same on my last vehicle health report. It looks as if there is action to be taken, but it's just a notice. Just about 9800 miles and will be crossing my fingers forever that I don't have all the issues I've read about.

I found out about this forum in the Focus Fanatics forum. I had posted my dissatisfaction with the taurusclub forum and this site was recommended. We have a 2014 Focus SE w/appearance pkg purchased brand new 3/11/15 and just under 9800 miles. We also have an 03 SEL Taurus wagon with around 112K and we've replaced just about all that did or was about to fail. I've owned brand new an 84 Escort 2dr, 85 Ranger, 89 Tempo, 07, 11 and now 2014 Focus as well as preowned 88 Mustang LX and 94 Tempo. I love detailing cars so I keep ours pristine as much as possible. I read much on forums to learn about maintenance and repair as well as just to chat.
