  1. How do I sign up? Id love to get out of Livonia now that all you MAP dickheads have come over.
  2. You forgot about the assholes stealing bikes and breaking into contractor tool boxes. I wish all the MAP people would get sent back.
  3. Many people like it, many people came expecting to work 4 hours and go home. Many people hate it. Some asked to go back to MAP.
  4. Then quit and get a job at Wendys. I heard they dont work AWS there. And you get a food discount.
  5. Also this wont happen next week. Youll get what you want then the investment in American stops while they build plants in Mexico. Next contract the work moves and the plant closings start. I cant believe how short minded you people are.
  6. Fiesta and Fusion are made in Mexico, and in DIFFERENT plants. That means TWO smart guy,
  7. Shut up Jimmy. You sound just like Jimmy. Dont ram it down my throat Jimmy.
  8. Go read what happened to M & P in the bas*tard thread. he got his ass handed to him. Only thing you understand is kool aid and vote no. Any idea that requires you to think is like hitting the emergency stop button in your brain.
  9. So we are at the point of believing company men over the union.
  10. Hey is that you Jimmy. First before the usual dumbasses say the same thing.
  11. Calling people Jimmy, Kool Aid, scare tactics. Thats all you people ever say. When a point is made that you cant respond to you resort to the same old tired reply. "Hey Jimmy!"
  12. Yes the US market is driving these profits. Imagine if the big 3 didnt have to deal with the UAW. Imagine the money they would save. No more health care, inflated wages, or bonus checks to pass out. Imagine their delight when the idiots in the UAW strike, giving them the opprotunity to rid themselves of the union. This is playing out perfectly for Ford. And imagine the reaction of the public when the UAW is booted out. Sales will probably increase.
  13. Or maybe the rank and file are so out of touch with reality that they fail to see the world in front of them. Maybe the only ones with a clue are those at the bargaining table. And not the ones at the picnic table behind the lockers.
  14. The auto market was contracting during the 40s and 50s. Packard disappeared, Hudson merged with Nash (AMC). Into the 60s Studebaker disappeared. So there was really no competitition. Now its global and you still think you can strike and people will wait to buy your car. They will go down the street and buy a Camry without thinking twice. Or if they need a truck the Tundra will fill the bill. You had a government that supported workers rights and buyers that probably were in a a union themselves. Now you have none of that. Get your head out of your ass and face reality. Its not 1955 anymore.
  15. I thought you were done? BTW lack of gravity would be worse for a spineless jellyfish. So that very dumb comeback makes no sense.
  16. I had to know it to find it right? Or am I that lucky to google 1982 UAW contract concessions and get a hit. I need to play the lottery, My plant had a massive lay off in 1980. Guys went to other plants and other states. Those that didnt hit the street, for years at a time. Some didnt get called back for 14 years. I talked to guys that left and had to find jobs, not knowing if they ever were coming back. I respect that and know how much better it is today, with unemployment, SUB and at one time GEN. You guys talking about respect and dignity have no idea how good you have it. I know my history and dont spew shit like you that is no where near the truth. The link was provided so you could see it for yourself. Admit it, you got a face full of ass and you dont like the taste of it.
  17. If the founders of the UAW were alive and running it today, there would not be one plant open with UAW representation.
  18. Nope, was born in the 70s. But I like to know what I am talking about before opening my pie hole. Maybe you should try it.
  19. And here is the kool aid comment. Didnt take long. Here read this. Your history knowledge needs a little help. Note what it says on page 90. Then what it says in the first paragraph of page 91. This has been tried before, and the UAW is 0-1. You like your odds of winning this time? https://books.google.com/books?id=sDWFFlNv-5IC&pg=PA81&lpg=PA81&dq=ford+reopens+contract+concessions&source=bl&ots=LSQc-vN38O&sig=DEYmzBAQ34-CntohoxBsioW6w_c&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0CD4Q6AEwBzgKahUKEwi1osb0-p3JAhXMRSYKHamTA7Y#v=onepage&q=ford%20reopens%20contract%20concessions&f=false
  20. Its not wiki its common knowledge. The old days were hell, ask anybody that was hired in the late 70s. You were laid off all the time. Plants closed all the time. I guess you need to feel pain to realize just how good you have it.
  21. M & P is an idiot. Just like all the other vote no idiots. They open their mouths, say things that are bullshit and people go along with it.
  22. In the old days you had two competitors. In the old days Ford had 177,000 workers. In the old days you got laid off regularly. In the old days (1980) you reopened the contract at Chrysler. In 1981 the UAW reopened all of them. Then negotiated the contract 7 months early to give the companys what they wanted. By the mid to late 1980s locals were reopening their local agreements to get work from other plants. Thats when the MOA started. Seems like you dont know much about the old days. http://www.nytimes.com/1981/12/12/us/auto-workers-and-wage-concessions-news-analysis.html
