I agree with tbone, the third row is the primary reason why we purchased an Explorer. My wife was adamant that we get something with a third row and we loved the fact that the third row folded out of the way when not using it. Our previous vehicle was a 2008 Tahoe and the third row on that vehicle took up so much room in the back and honestly there was less room than there is in the Explorer. I think the third row is so integrated into the design of the Explorer that it almost has to be standard. Any optional third seat would probably seem more like an afterthought.

Well, looks like I jumped the gun with this post. All of the latest info I am hearing is that everyone's ETA is now TBD and we are still waiting on either OKTB or some type of fix to some type of problem.

Those wheels look exactly like the ones on my wife's Explorer Sport. It also has that low stance like that. I would love to see a Ford Performance version of the mommy soccer-mobile.

@tbone sounds like a great deal all around. My dealer is also a family friend and we have a similar deal going. Sounds like exactly the same conversations that I've had with him regarding other dealers looking to buy his allocations. He said he even had one guy ask if he could buy my place in line.

I ordered one with an MSRP of $64,540. Got what I wanted/needed and nothing more but from what I have seen from others, people are going everything including the kitchen sink on quite a few orders. I have seen some north of $70,000. I'm hoping we start to see some of the 2017's on the dealer lots soon.

Well, I've heard news that some of the Raptors are now shipping so that is good. Mine was built 10/19, so hopefully it will be on a truck or train soon!

It will be interesting to see how it performs.

Yeah, I've seen those videos. Those were taken a few days before my truck was built. I'm hoping that either the Okay to Buy is this week or they get a fix for whatever quality hold is keeping all of those trucks there. Would really love to hear from Ford Service that my truck has been shipped.

Late reply but I just ordered the Husky X-act Contour floor mats after much deliberation. Most reviewers agree that they are better than the Weathertech that I have previously used. I will try to post a review after they arrive.

I would love it if the new Bronco keeps the retro look of the original Broncos. My son will turn 16 about the time they come out and would give me a good reason to pick one up if they aren't priced too high.

Thanks for the information. I'm not going to bother my dealer with it as it will get here at some point. These days everyone wants to track every little step of the process and I'm no exception.

So, I have a Raptor on order and have been following all of the information I can and getting updates from FordService on FB. I am hearing that many of the trucks are built but are just sitting at the plant awaiting approval to be released. Does anyone know how this process works?
