I know...I know...I get it.
My frustration has bubbled up recently as my build date got pushed back two weeks (to the week of 12/18). That was fine at first as there were very few Expy's showing up in my area. Then, all of the sudden, more are coming and according to COTUS (not the most reliable, I know) they were ordered two weeks ago and are already in production! So while my order shows an order date of 7/3 and I still have two weeks to go until production, I found these:
1FMJK2AT1JEA14010: This Expy was ordered on 11/24 and is already in production!
1FMJK2AT7JEA10589: Max Platinum ordered 8/2 and it’s scheduled for delivery on 12/31
1FMJU2AT7JEA14023: Ordered only 2 weeks ago on 11/24 and already in production
1FMJU2ATXJEA14016: 11/24 also. In production.
These are all dealers in my 100 mile radius which suddenly have later "order dates" (I know it's not the most reliable) yet are in production. Whereas mine is languishing.
Doesn't help that a few weeks ago my dealer excitingly told me that my order was pushed up to a priority "01" and would be pushed ahead of all other orders. When I questioned him on that today he told me it was pushed ahead of all other orders at his dealership but didn't now why all the other local dealers were seeing movement on production. Argh.
It is what it is.
I've purchased two Teslas over the past 5 years and man...the no dealership model has definitely spoiled me! So nice ordering direct!
