    You know what’s annoying? Seeing the car you ordered listed on cars.com, shouldn’t you wait to do that until I, the person who ordered this specific car, has actually seen it?

    I’ve seen quite a few listed on cars.com and the like that don’t seem to have any issues, though. But it’s definitely not comforting when you see ones like that.

    Even if everything is covered under warranty no one wants to have a loaner multiple times out of the year. I hope Lincoln makes everything right, though.

    I’m starting to look for Velars now in case mine has issues but fingers crossed everything is resolved; we’ll see.

    I am cautiously optimistic; I want this car so badly but I don’t think I’d want to reorder one if mine has issues. My sister said they don’t think it’ll take two weeks for all of the fixes to be completed. I’ve waited this long so I’ll at least wait until mine is ready; but if it has imperfections I guess I’ll be going back to JLR.

    People won’t remember but I guarantee it will turn off some prospective buyers; like I said once mine is finally ready now that it has to be repainted if there’s a single blemish I’m not taking it.

    Yet to be determined. Not sure if it’s just the panels that have the streaks in it or if they’ll repaint the whole car; I’m just worried that if they only paint certain panels that there will be a noticeable difference between panels. Dealer wasn’t sure what caused it and Ford is being mum on the issues they’re having.

    Yeah it arrived; but has to be repainted. I was told two weeks. Which would be 9/25.

    This shouldn’t have left the factory. They should be embarrassed. I could very easily go pick up a Velar but I have my heart set on the Aviator. However when the day comes to pick it up if the panels aren’t matching there is no way in hell that I’m going to buy it. That would be absurd. I’ll gladly take it while they build me a new one though.

    Apparently it looks like primer is showing through on some panels and there are streaks of it. I guess they’ve been having this issue. Not sure if it’s just certain colors or what. QC needs to do their job.

    I called him back and asked for pictures; he said he doesn’t have it at the dealership; that it’s at the body shop now, but that it looked like rubbing compound on multiple panels. I think there’s more to this story.

    Something just seems fishy to me; I’m having my sister look into it.

    Maybe he misspoke or I didn’t hear correctly. All I know is that it needs repainted. I’m tempted to take it now and then have them repaint it once the paint comes in. God knows how long that will take.

    Dealer calls me back; multiple panels have paint deficiencies. This is ridiculous. He said it should probably be about 2 weeks; now I’m worried that if only some panels get painted it’s not going to look the same.

    She’s in!!! But they have to do the recall on it, I don’t know how long that will take. I was hoping to pick it up today since it’s my birthday.

    The funny thing is the one I originally ordered(it didn’t have the full rear console as I thought it did) was built the week before but it hasn’t shipped yet.

    My Aviator was built on Friday, it’s only a matter of time now. I’m so excited!!!

    If mine comes with imperfections I’ll be pissed, but I’m sure everything has been sorted out by now. My Continental BL has to be a one of one, though, the center console(I have the Chalet) is black and it should be white. Not sure how that made it past QC.
