For anyone interested, just saw on Tremor forum today an article on Ford Authority that Ford Performance is now offering a sport exhaust for the 7.3l gasser, it costs $1395. Yep, it’s all about Tremor’s, and your’s is basically one on roids. I won’t do a direct link as it might be against bof rules…you can find it at fordtremor dot com.

Brother, that’s awesome, and glad it has power boards. I’m feeling pretty low class with just a Platti Tremor on order. As mentioned before, if you haven’t already, post this on the Tremor forum…they will go nuts.?

First, if your payload is beyond 2k+, even with Shelby Baja, bags shouldn’t be an issue with 1k tongue weight. Another thing about Airbags, we have Airlift 5000 on our F150 max tow v8, which attach upper and lower…if you try off-road articulation, the bags will/may rip. If you use Airbags that only connect on one side and have a cradle on the other side, you shouldn’t have articulation problems. That said, Timbrens/Sumo’s only connect on the high side, and engage only under heavy load…don’t affect unloaded ride, but Airbags do. Glad you have power running boards, else one Hell of a first step getting in or out.?

I believe you can use a pco with x plan, but not a/d/z plans. The pco is from Ford to you and costs the dealer nothing, like factory rebates, Ford is paying it. Get with your dealer and Ford Marketing about how to attach/apply it to your order. Cheers

I don’t think you’ll need airbags, which also take away from off-road articulation, based on the tongue weight. If you’re concerned about rear sag, look at Timbrens or Sumo bags…they only attach on high side and don’t affect articulation. Also, they only come in contact with the axle when under a heavy load…don’t affect unloaded driving. My two cents. PS Love your truck, but would want power running boards myself. ?

The only way to get the 3” hitch receiver on an F250 is if you order 6.7 PSD with High Capacity Trailer Tow Package (hcttp)…all other F250s, both gas and diesel, have 2.5” receivers. Hope that helps.

#ice-capades, I believe in one of your previous Scheduling Notes, you said Ford would not schedule any for stock orders of F450s, 19.5 inch wheels, for remainder of my22, only retail orders. Correct or did I swing and miss?

Move this to new SD forum thread and Tremor forum thread. I have a Platti Tremor 7.3l on order, and this is an awesome truck…I’m very jealous. Tremor forum guys, like Raptor guys will droll over this…this is way better than your $10k ADM previous thoughts Platti Tremor and upgrades. Congrats, you have my, and likely others envy.

RCorsa, When you get it, you definitely need to post more pictures. And, post some specs like payload and towing, and HP. You’ll get Raptor guys salivating. Absolutely cool looking truck. Please post on SD forum…you’ll be a rockstar…and maybe on Tremor forum. ?

PCO shows expiration of 4 April. I’d heard they went out quarterly, so that would make sense if your’s was 3 January.

Woo hoo, Just received a $2k PCO in the mail today in my wife’s name. Now just need to get our loaded F250 7.3 Platti Tremor scheduled for build…ordered 7 months ago. Still, a nice gift in the mail ?

All that said, this is our RV tow vehicle and camping is done for us for a couple more months, so waiting is frustrating, but truck isn’t currently needed…we can wait to get our White Whale/Unicorn how we want it. If you’re looking at a basic build and your dealer has allocation, your wait will likely be substantially less.
