  1. I originally ordered a my21 last mid-April F250 7.3 Platti Tremor, Ford canceled outstanding 21s mid-May because of Chip shortage. Reordered as a my22 late-May that was accepted by Ford 16 June…loaded 7.3 F250 Platti Tremor with all the commodity restrictions…AS, 5th wheel prep, spray in liner, etc. Just got Priority changed to 2 a week ago, so hope to get scheduled/Vin this week just short of 7 months. If you have a heavily optioned truck, expect a long wait. My $.02
  2. Congrats!…with that wait time, you have the patience of Jobe. ?
  3. doyall, Thank you for the F250 Tremor rear gawr and your payload rating…it’s very helpful and answers the question I’ve had for a long time about the rear axle. That said, I expect our payload will be substantially less, as we have Platinum build, moonroof, 5th wheel prep, and dual batteries…all the heavy stuff that reduces payload. Cheers. ?
  4. So, we have an F-250 Tremor 7.3l on order. A non-Tremor F-250 rear gross axle weight rating (gawr) is 6340lbs, while a non-Tremor F-350 rear gawr is 7230lbs…890lbs more, explaining much of the payload difference…gawr is stated on door sticker. An F-350 Tremor rear gawr is 6950lbs, which is 280lbs less than a F-350 non-Tremor. So, an F-250 Tremor is basically a derated F-350 Tremor because of the rear leaf and axle. Does anyone have an F-250 Tremor and what is the rear gawr, whether gas or diesel…should be the same?…on the door sticker. I’m trying to confirm an F-250 Tremor is a derated F-350 Tremor and basically has the same, if not legal payload. PS any F-250 Tremor rear gawr should be the same, unless 6.7 with hctp maybe. Thx
  5. Why did I order an F250 Tremor 7.3l.? First, like the looks and idea of off-road capable. Second, it’s a 10k gvwr, for tax purposes in Virginnie..above that personal property taxes and registration are higher. Third, Tremor is softer suspension than non-Tremor. Fourth, an F250 Tremor is basically a derated F350 Tremor, same leaf package and rear-end, so real world payload is basically the same as a F350 Tremor…but, not legal payload. So, I basically get an F350 Tremor, with lower taxes and registration, and softer ride than non-Tremor F350. What’s not to like. PS. Expect 2600lb payload, but really/real world is more like 3200lb+
  6. Which is to say, you can use either the four outer pucks or the center goose ball to connect your b&w hitch…use for any type of fifth wheel hitch or as a gooseneck.
  7. Thank you. Merry Christmas and happy Holidays…enjoy your time off.
  8. Good morning Cyberdman, I’d love to check the status of my F250 Platinum Tremor order, placed mid-June, before your Holiday break. F250 Platinum 703A Tremor 7.3l Iconic Silver Sales code: F27443 Order code: 0616 Thank you.
  9. Yours is the first F250 Limited I’ve seen scheduled, let alone in production. We have a decked out 7.3 F250 Platti Tremor on order since June still unscheduled. When did you order?
  10. Congrats, you’re the first I’ve seen here yesterday or today. ?
  11. ScottK1, My experience following BOF is scheduling happens on Thursday, generally. Then those that get scheduled either get a Ford email later that same Thursday or early the next day, Friday….that’s why I asked. I’ve been waiting awhile, since earlyJune, with many commodity constraints: AS, bedliner, tonneau, and 5th wheel prep. But, I expected others without constraints to pipe up that they got scheduled, instead crickets here today. Scott
  12. Quick question: has anybody gotten an email from Ford yesterday or today that they’ve finally got picked up for scheduling? Thanks
  13. Fordorder, I think ScottK1 is correct…it just means the order was accepted, nothing to do with commodity issues. Like ScottK1, I have a Platinum Tremor order with AS and other constraints…order accepted, unscheduled clean since 16 June. Hoping to finally get scheduled this week or next. PS Spoke with my dealer’s Sales Manager Saturday. They have 21 SD’s on retail order, 9 current allocations, and I’m number 2 in the que…yay
  14. Another option is F250 HCT with Tremor package. An F250 Tremor has the same rear leaf package as an F350, so it’s basically a derated F350…legal payload still less, but really is basically an F350, less the higher payload sticker. It’s one of the reasons why we ordered an F250 gas Tremor.
  15. Yes and no, with F250 HCT. Your gvwr will increase from 10k to 10.8k, so payload will be same/similar to an F250 gasser. Here in Virginia, once you cross 10k gvwr, you get taxed the same as an F350 with 12k-ish (diesel) or 11.3k (gasser) gvwr, so might as well get the F350 with the higher payload. So, even though the F250 HCT can tow more and has 3-inch receiver, payload is still at or under 3k, while the F350 should be closer to 4K payload, dependent on gvwr and options.
  16. Pretty depressing, everything on my F250 Platinum Tremor order…AS, tonneau, 5th wheel prep, and spray in bed liner. And, no DRW. Should be good scheduling day for SRW basic orders.
  17. If you have signed paperwork on the order, you should go take it from them, or make them buy you out of it…a little appropriate response to their actions…just sayin
  18. Message seats are standard on Platinums and Limiteds…wife liked them so much, we had to get a Platinum. Learned about them on a 2020 Platinum F350 test drive.
  19. Ronco read your sticker wrong…you have Adaptive Cruise Control at $740, not AS which costs $1k.
  20. I also think that’s your 11900 gvwr…heavy one ton srw
  21. That’s an awesome payload, congrats. You can pull most any pin weight
  22. Door sticker is your answer always…GVWR less options
  23. I’m with you brother…took it as levity/sarcasm. I ordered a 21 in April, had Ford cancel mid-May, reordered a 22 late-May, been waiting ever since…Platinum F250 Tremor with AS, spray-in bedliner, and 5th Wheeling prep. I feel the frustration of everyone, as much as myself. On a positive note, our camping season is ending, so can wait until after New Years. Still priorty 10, awaiting scheduling…hoping for a PCO for the hassle. Keep the faith…we can laugh later, after getting and enjoying our trucks. Scott
  24. I think he forgot to put /S for sarcasm at the end.
