I could never get any response from my dealer where I ordered my 1st F-350 Platinum in April. Asked repeatedly to drop AS but never received a reply so I went to a rural dealership on 9-20-21 and ordered the exact truck minus the AS. Got email from Ford that it was scheduled for 10-25-21 build week on 10-5-21 and then got another Ford email on 10-28-21 that it was built. Shipped on 10-28-21 and dealer called me Monday stating it was an hour away in a Atlanta rail yard and they are expecting in any day. Stopped by the dealer today and finalized my trade value and X plan pricing. It was refreshing to receive that kind of service after enduring 5 months with the most unresponsive Sales Manager and dealership I have ever seen.

I also have an order in production now with X plan pricing and my window sticker was generated on 10-20-21 and it is also a blue retail sticker. I feel comfortable as ice-capades stated above that it will be converted to the X plan deal at the conclusion of the transaction.

Ordered my F-350 Platinum with AS ON 4-22-21. Have had numerous build weeks and now it is 12-6-21. SMH. UPDATE: Ordered identical build and dripped AS from different dealer on 9-20-21. It went into production on 10-19-21. Crazy but now its getting fun again.

2018 F-250 Lariat Ultimate, still driving it after ordering F-350 SRW Platinum over 6 months ago. ?

I got the dreaded email last night that my F-350 Platinum SRW 6.7 has been pushed back again to Dec. 1st. I don’t expect this truck this year. I ordered 4-22-21, received VIN in 6-4-21 and the first build week was 7–26-21. It does have AS, and virtually every option available. My salesman is the New Truck manager and has been very non responsive. I asked for the AS to be deleted months ago and he never did so I ordered a 2nd truck from another dealer without the AS 3 weeks ago and got VIN and schedule build week of 11-1-21 within 2 weeks of ordering. We will see. Also received X-plan pricing from the 2nd dealer.

It will be on your 12” screen, small steering wheel icon. My 2018 F-250 has it on the Climate screen.

Ordered F-350 Platinum 6.7 on 4-22-21 and have had so many build weeks that I’ve forgotten them. The new one is 10-25 and I don’t really expect it to stick.

I misunderstood the salesman. My new build date is now 10-25. What are the chances it will get built that week? I have a buddy who manages a Chevy and Ram dealership and he said all their orders just got pushed back to Oct dates as well.

It would be nice to have some type of communication from Ford. Dealers are either too lazy to check or don’t know anymore than we do. Meanwhile Ford offers no communication and just keeps advertising the SD and their BEV vehicles like they are have plenty of inventory. I am Frustrated as most are on here.

I have a dilemma that I need your feedback on please. I order a 22 F-350 SRW Platinum in Iconic Silver on 4-22 loaded and yess it included AS. It was assigned a Priority Code 10 and I was told to expect it in early Aug. I liked the paint choice since it would be easier to keep clean then my 2018 Black F-250 Lariat. My build week dates went from 7-19, 7-30, 9-30 then to 9-6 and I was ok with that until my dealership finally told me it is now 10-25. I have a trip planned to HHI in early Oct and wanted to take the new truck and that notion was quickly crushed. Now here is the dilemma, I have located a vehicle in transit to a dealer 2 hours away with all the options I ordered except AS and color is unfortunately Black but I can live with it. Price is MSRP (about $2k more) because they know they will get it. What would you do? BTW I received a $2500 PCO from Ford after I ordered the original truck so that would wash away the price increase. Thanks for enduring this long question but I am torn on this.

The last build week I received from Ford said 9-6 but dealer said today 9-25 and I don’t trust him anymore. Time to look at another brand because I am tired of the lack of communication from Ford and the dealer. Don’t even try to call the Ford Marketing # anymore, they will not answer anymore.

My property where we keep the RV is about an hour from Blue Ridge. We go every weekend. Love it.
