  1. It varies so much, it's hard to say what is really supposed to happen... mine was sent to plant (in production) 8/31 and wasn't built until 9/14. I originally had a build day of 9/7, which got pushed back to 9/9 (still the same week, so no "your build has been rescheduled" email) but still didn't get built until 9/14 (which was actually the next week). Also, I had nothing that was (ever) a commodity hold, and no aftermarket accessories... so nothing that should have held up, or pushed back my build... Also, over on the FTE forums, someone stated that according to a KTP assembly line worker, 33 hours is about how long the truck spends on the line being built... I imagine that begins at stamping to painting all the way to finishing and out the door... but others have stated only 24 hours on the line...
  2. Requesting an update please sir! Build day moved from 9/7 to 9/9, but I haven't received anything yet... no "it's built" email and no "it's been rescheduled to X/X/X" email... No commodity holds as far as I know on mine either... not sure what's happened to it! F250 XLT CCSB 6.7 Antimatter Blue Order Code: 2222 Sales Code: F23463 VIN: 1FT8W2BT9NEC56524 Order placed: 5/24 Thank you.
  3. So on 8/12 I got an email that my build week was 9/6 and a VIN number! On 8/27 CybermandD posted that my build to day was 9/7! On 9/8 CybermanD then posted that my build to day was now 9/9. I spoke to my dealer Friday (9/10) and it didn't show built in the system (VVR), but still showed a build day of 9/9... Today is 9/14, and looking at the spreadsheet from the FTE threads, there have been trucks getting built all around mine... I am posting tonight to hopefully get an update from CybermanD tomorrow to see if anything has changed... My truck obviously isn't getting built the week of 9/6, and I have not received any emails saying that my truck has been pushed back to another week like so many others have... so it appears that somehow my truck has simply been looked over, or there is a commodity hold not being reported.... And mine is a pretty simple build... an F250 XLT Value, 6.7 with HCTT and snow plow/camper package. It had the UTT package, but I removed it at the beginning of August since at that time they weren't scheduling any XLT's with UTT... however, I now see 3 trucks on the tracker that are XLT's with UTT that have been built and shipped recently... one on 9/4, another on 9/11 and another on 9/12... Something else interesting... I have noticed folks saying recently that as long as you have a VIN and input it into the FordPass app that the "Activate now" button has been showing up, even if the truck isn't built yet... My VIN was already in the FordPass app, but I didn't get that screen, so I tried removing the vehicle, deleting the app and reinstalling, but now when trying to add my VIN back in, it says either "FordPass app isn't responding." or "This is an invalid VIN." I tried adding it on the Ford.com website with my computer (thinking it was just the app) but the website won't take the VIN either... a pop up screen displays with an option to either re-enter, or cancel... I talked to the FordPass Help desk, and they just said try again later, and couldn't pull up my window sticker... And yes, I have checked time and again to make sure the VIN I entered was correct. I have both copied and pasted it in, as well as typing it out just in case any weird "data" was copied when copying and pasting and causing an error... I can still pull up my window sticker, but that's it. I have even went to the Motorcraft site and entered my VIN to see if the PCM or BCE (As-built) modules will populate, and they don't, so I really don't think my truck is "most likely built and I just haven't gotten any emails," like the dealer suggests.... but maybe I'm wrong! I'd be down with that! I don't know... maybe my order got stuck to someone else's when going down the line... maybe there is a commodity hold for something that hasn't been shared (I have seen *RUMORS* that some orders with either the snow plow package, or the 6.7 motors have been having hang ups....), or maybe I'm just one of the unlucky ones... I dunno... I have started looking around for options showing up on lots... I saw one that was on a lot about 2 hours from me, but it was a customer order (green window sticker)... it would be nice if the dealers wouldn't list customer orders on their site like they have them for sale... At this point I would hate to think about placing an order for another one!
  4. Yep! My truck will be coming with a 3" receiver, and while I am excited about that... I also realize that it's going to be expensive! I will be getting a new Anderson WDH with a 2 5/16" ball, and will be ordering that on a 3" shank so it will actually fit the receiver without using sleeves and what not. But, if I want' to use any other size ball I will need to buy another receiver... The B&W drop hitches with a tri-ball will run about $350 and the Bulletproof hitches are around $430... So, between the Anderson and the B&W I am looking at $1k just on hitches! To be fair though I need a new WDH, so that was $650 regardless of which size hitch came on the new truck. Besides this, I have a Reese 2" shank with a 2" ball that I grabbed at Walmart for about $30 IIRC... I also have a 2.5" to 2" reducer already, and as far as I understand the 3" receiver comes with a 3" to 2.5" reducer sleeve, so technically, if I needed to I could still use the reducers and the cheap hitch I already have... and with as little towing with anything other than my camper that we do I don't need anything else right now, so I don't have to run out and get everything all at once! But still... $1k in hitches!!
  5. Yours may be different from mine being that it is a 450 and a long bed... mine is a BRI-BRQ17SBK (full liner BedRug for a CCSB). The rest of the items I ordered from TCW shipped the next day and were here 3 days later, it's just the BedRug that didn't ship and was stated as a 3-4 week estimated shipping frame. But, after the 3rd email with even more extended estimated shipping time's I just called BedRug themselves to confirm it. Turns out, it's legit. (I'll also add that I want to keep my order with TCW for the BedRug since they gave me another $45 off the already marked down to $395 price, so I got it for $350.) Also, it sounds like GCD mentioned he ordered straight from BedRug... from the way the lady at BedRug explained it, it doesn't really matter where you order from. She told me that for my model there were only like 470-ish currently on order, and that was a small order, which is why they weren't making these in the next 2 weeks for sure. However, she said that that number represents orders from BedRug themselves, as well as other companies that sell them, which would include mine that I ordered from TCW. This makes sense because the Bakflip stuff I ordered shipped from Bakflip. So I imagine when I ordered the BedRug through TCW, they just sent the order straight to BedRug. The lady told me that mine would ship from BedRug themselves, even though I ordered from somewhere else. It won't ship to TCW, then to me. Because of this, she said mine will ship as soon as it's made, along with everyone else's. So, unless someone actually has one in stock somewhere, it could be a long wait. She was very nice, but like everywhere else, they are backed up and limited as to what they are doing I guess. Unfortunately, even though my truck was scheduled to be built last week, it looks like it still hasn't been built, so I guess I got time to wait...
  6. I have never had a BedRug, but knew I wanted one before I even ordered the truck! So, last month I ordered a full liner BedRug from Tonneau Cover's World, along with the Bakflip MX4, a Bakbox and a tailgate seal. The BedRug was a 3-4 week shipping estimate when I ordered August 6th, but everything else shipped out the next day. Since then I have gotten a few emails pushing the BedRugs anticipated delivery out all the way to the end of this month... so I contacted TCW to find out if I could maybe get it sooner... they are now telling me by October 1. So, I called BedRug to find out what was going on... A lady answered at BedRug very quickly and asked me for the model number. I told her the model number and that it was for a 2022 F250. She said that right now there are not enough of this particular model on order to make these, and that they are making the ones with the largest amounts of orders first while the smaller batches build up... She said right now for the next 2 weeks they will be making ones for 1500's (not sure if it's Chevy, GMC or Dodge) but that the ones for F250's would not be made in the next 2 weeks for sure... so, if you want to order one, unless you want to wait for an unknown amount time obviously, make sure they actually have one in stock to ship at time of order.
  7. I’m hoping mine is similar. I originally had a 9/7 build day that got pushed to 9/9. I hoped to have an email by now, but still nothing… hoping it got built yesterday, or at least today!
  8. Let me try again... hopefully it got built this time! F250 XLT CCSB 6.7 Antimatter Blue Order Code: 2222 Sales Code: F23463 VIN: 1FT8W2BT9NEC56524 Order placed: 5/24 Thank you.
  9. Man, that is so awesome! I'm so excited for you!! I know you're going to enjoy that thing!
  10. This video kind of gave me some purple vibes... but not terribly bad. It does look pretty black at night though!
  11. Have you seen it in person? So far we have had exactly 1 2022 on my dealers lot and it just so happened to be Antimatter Blue. After seeing it I decided I did want it. It does change from blue to black so fast, depending on how the light hits it. The day I saw it was pretty sunny, so I didn't see any purple, but I can see how it may have some purple in the right light... but I don't think it will be as bad as I feared it may be! Anyway, pics don't really do the color justice... but here is a pic of the one I seen on the lot (last one), and then 2 other pics (first 2) that someone else shared in good light.
  12. Yeah, I can't say I am upset with those getting them much sooner than me either, but I will admit it is a little disheartening... but it is what it is and there's nothing we can do about it, so we may as well roll with it! And yes, I got my window sticker 8/31. I will admit I have checked it no less than at least 1000 times today looking for changes! lol... I did change mine from black to antimatter blue when I was finally able to see one for myself in person. I am super excited about it, but will also admit I am a little nervous... I originally went black, and it is a pretty safe color (since I know what black looks like), but I am looking forward to the changing characteristics of the antimatter blue. I'm just hoping I don't see purple every time I look at it! lol...
  13. Hi, can I please get an update on my truck. (I'm hoping it was built today (9/7) and not moved back!) F250 XLT CCSB 6.7 Antimatter Blue Order Code: 2222 Sales Code: F23463 VIN: 1FT8W2BT9NEC56524 Order placed: 5/24 Thank you.
  14. I understand. When I ordered mine in May the 22MY start date was sometime middle or late June... can't remember for sure. I will say though that with all the chip shortages and everything that had already been going on, I wasn't surprised that it moved back though. I guess I was just playing devils advocate for a bit and pointing out that time frames now that they are building them is quite a bit different than time frames from those ordering months before they even started getting built. It would also be nice if Ford could be a little more forthcoming with what is going on, as well as doing a better job at keeping us up to date, but I can see that there are lots of moving parts that affect so many things and there are likely so many different outcomes that it is pretty difficult to keep us up to date the way we would like. And Ford needs to build trucks to make money, so I am sure that they are doing all that they can... from our perspective it does look different though. For example, my build date is today... I have no clue if it is actually getting built or not... and not sure when I will find out. (Although, I do know that I am going to request an update from CybermanD now that my date has been met!) Another example is your date... 10/25 seems to be a place holder date and doesn't seem like a real actual date yet. It seems many trucks with AS that have already been scheduled are getting shuffled to this date, and if things change, will then get moved to another date for the actual build. I can't know this for sure, but it seems to be a trend... Anyway, here's to hoping we all get our trucks soon! ?
  15. I know a lot won’t agree with me, but if I were routinely towing more than about 12k I would rather just go DRW. I spent the last few years towing our (small) camper with a vehicle that was really too small, so when I ordered a new truck I made sure I got quite a bit more truck than I needed. Me personally, I wouldn’t even want to think about routinely towing 18k with a SRW! To be fair, I have never towed anything even close to this, but like I said, I have spent enough time with less vehicle than I should have had and I don’t want to do that again.
  16. Thats right I remember that now. I just remembered the date in the box is the sent to plant/in production date, and that doesn’t change. Other than built, I don’t know what else it would represent at this point. Are you on the spreadsheet?
  17. I wouldn't say it is "unrealistic" but there is absolutely no time frame that is definite. Check out the delivered tab over on the spreadsheet for 2022 SD's... sure, in the grand scheme of things, it's a small sample size, but it's large enough to draw some basic conclusions. There are currently over 300 users that have submitted their info which have VIN numbers (aka: "scheduled") and another 137 that are marked as delivered. On top of that, there is another nearly 250 on a separate list made up of folks that are "unscheduled" (aka: no VIN assigned yet). This is a picture of around 700 2022 Ford SD customers, ranging from dates between 3/11/21 all the way to 9/6/21, from just ordered to already been delivered. Out of these 700 so far, 137 are marked as delivered, and so far those time frames from date of order to delivery range from 49 days (7 weeks) to 169 days (24+ weeks)... I guess a real simple way of saying this is that the average of these orders are around 15-16 weeks, but obviously some much sooner, and some much later... BUT, this is a bit skewed too though... considering that those that ordered way back in mid March actually waited 4 months (16 weeks) before they even started building 22's, it's kind of hard to count that time since they weren't even being built then. I am personally at 15 weeks today. I ordered May 24. On 8/27 CybermanD (here on these forums) told me that my day of build is 9/7, which is tomorrow. So, I am hoping that by the end of this week my truck will be built and shipped, and hopefully in 2 weeks it will be delivered, putting me at 18 weeks total from day of order. To be fair though (and as I mentioned above), production on 22's didn't start til middle/late July (I can't remember the exact date anymore... somewhere around the 20th I think), so there was about 8 weeks of my wait time that no 22's were built, so counting that time is kind of hard... but, if you take those 8 weeks off, that means that today I am at 7 weeks from the time they started building 22's and if all goes as planned, I should have it around 10 weeks from the time that they started actually building 22's... The person on the delivered list that waited 169 days ordered their truck 3/16 and it was delivered 9/1. If they started building 22's on 7/20, then it took 6 weeks and 1 day from the time Ford started building 22MY to the day it was delivered. As well, the person that waited 49 days placed their order 7/15 and the truck was delivered 9/2, or 7 weeks. This does make me wonder... for those that place orders now, now that Ford is actually in the middle of building these trucks... maybe an 8-12 week estimate is a very realistic time frame... of course we do still have to consider all those unfulfilled orders still out there... along with the fact that they are still struggling with both having enough chips and various components... Just something to think about while we sit here and wait on our trucks...
  18. What date keeps changing? The date in the "Special Order" box should be the date that the truck was sent to plant, or went to in production, not built. Mine went 8/31/21 and it hasn't changed since I got the sticker. I'm scheduled to be built tomorrow. It seems from looking at the spreadsheet with everyones orders, once the vehicle changes to In Production, it's usually about 7-10 days later that it gets built. Tomorrow will be 8 days for mine, so I'mhoping it gets built tomorrow! But I don't believe there is a date on the sticker for completion of the truck. There is a date at the very bottom of the sticker page, but I don't know what that date is. I'm pretty sure it is not for completion though because I looked online at a truck that is indeed on the lot and the date on the bottom of that sticker is 9/1/21... I would be very surprised if it was built just 5 days ago and already shipped, unloaded and cleaned up to sit on the lot. Maybe I'm wrong though...
  19. Thanks! That's good to hear, and kind of what I thought... I figure since it was pulling up on the Ford site it was still fine and was likely just a disconnect between the Ford site and the MachE site.
  20. So I got my window sticker at the beginning of this week. I was able to pull it up from both the Ford tracker site and the Mach E site, but since yesterday, I haven't been able to pull the window sticker up from the Mach E site... all the information still pulls up and it still shows in production, and the Ford tracker site still shows all info and pulls up the window sticker... it's just the Mach E site that the window sticker doesn't work from. Anyone else experience this from just the Mach E site? And FWIW, on 8/12 my build week was assigned to the week of 9/6, and on 8/27 CybermanD confirmed my build day is 9/7. I have seen several folks have gotten emails getting their dates pushed back, but so far I haven't gotten anything about moving the date... and I'm only 3 days away now! I figure if something was up I wouldn't even be able to pull up my window sticker from the Ford tracker site, but I can with no problem. So, is it just the Mach E site?
  21. Yeah, that's also why I took it off... plus, I can make sure I get the model that I want. I don't want the keyed version, and would rather have the combination version, and unfortunately, Ford doesn't specify which one they are putting in the vehicles.
  22. I also removed the tonneau and the console safe from mine. I actually got the specific tonneau cover I wanted, and for less than what I was paying through Ford and it's sitting here in my hallway waiting for the truck to get here! Plus now once my truck is built it only needs to get loaded up to come home instead of going somewhere else for more production..
  23. I agree... I just couldn't get over that that though. I ended up going with the ever-so-popular Bakflip MX4. However, part of the reason I went with that particular one is because I also liked the Bakbox that they make, and of course, it requires the rails from the Bakflip to mount it, and I ended up getting a pretty decent deal on both when ordering them. But, I figure that in reality, I will end up with a camper shell in the next few years... until then though, I think I will be happy with the MX4. Well see... it's all been sitting here in my hallway waiting for my truck to get built... hopefully next Tuesday if all goes as planned!
