  1. Odd. Maybe something with my android auto, although my phone never used to do any sort of alerts and still doesnt(it sits in the cup holder and never wakes up when i get this noise). I dont have Waze or anything. Havent been able to pin it to any external events to it. Never seen a cop/wreck/construction/etc anywhere near when it goes off. The mystery continues
  2. I managed to get it on my dashcam recording on my way home this evening. First time ive heard it on this side road. Nobody else in the vehicle. Nothing on the passenger seat. hands on the wheel. Lane keep off. https://www.dropbox.com/s/6dxtp4urt5ocx3w/GRMN-2022-01-20_17-30-32-exportedVideo.mp4?dl=0&fbclid=IwAR2us62a_yFu9QpahgffBV85v4z62j9JWBFa9GC77OF3YA76iWk92QXxaX4
  3. Yeah i did some googling around as well. My airbag light does come on with ignition on, then goes out. No faults stored in forscan. Its also very random. ive heard it twice in as little as 15 minutes, and today for example i was driving around for about 2 hours and never heard it once. It only ever happens while im driving/moving. I suspect its more a feature or alert that im not aware of rather then a problem. Next time it happens ill grab the video from my dashcam and hopefully it picks it up.
  4. I have not set up any My-keys on this truck yet. Did not hear the beeps at all today.
  5. I have plugged it into forscan and there are no faults. Id expect to see some sort of warning or symbol on the dash if there was a problem as well. Its a "friendly" beep.
  6. I thought it might be a speed limit thing as well, but i do have a bit of a lead foot and its not consistant enough imo
  7. Been driving my new 2022 F350 for about 2 weeks now and I seem to randomly get 3 beeps in a row from the dash while cruising on the highway. I thought it might have been the lane keep assist but I have turned that off and it still does it. Cannot see any warnings or symbols on the dash or screen when it happens. It only happens maybe once during my 40 minute commute. Anyone know what it is?
  8. If you signed an order agreement with the price and paid a deposit that is a legal binding sale agreement. I had the same (unfounded) fear as well that somehow they would try sabotage the deal at the final hour, but it was certainly not the case in my experience, Price never even came up during delivery, just signed the finance paperwork which had all the same numbers on it that I agreed to originally. My truck was even on their website for awhile with a 20k market adjustment ?.
  9. I have a pedal monster in mine, love it. Truck is basically undrivable in track mode as just touching the pedal will spin the tires off.
  10. They always do. new model is usually unveiled late feb with order banks opening mid march. Product of current model typically continues until june/july before they switch. 22MY orders wont convert to 23. You will be required to reorder and there isnt any price protections. I suspect ford will get all the retail orders built, fleet orders may suffer, and there will certainly be a lot of stock order trucks that get cancelled. I also suspect the "normal" timelines mentioned above will not hold this year and things will likely be pushed closer to 2023.
  11. At first i was told it had to wait for a full transport load to my dealership(made sense). Then later I was told they had over 30 cars sitting there waiting to be delivered. Nobody really knew why it was taking so long it seemed like. Could not even get an accurate date it was simply "itll be here when it gets here". To my dealers credit my salesman did call me literally as the transport pulled into their lot. I Asked him to snap a pic for me at the end of our call and in the pictures they are still unstrapping Was the most frustrating part of the whole experience for me because it was not expected.
  12. Unfortunately there seem to be a lot of cases for whatever reason it does not update. Mine went dark for 10 days and travelled 2200 miles in that time... all the while the VVR showed it as "Arrived... Illinois". Before finally updating to the destination rail scan in Vancouver,BC about 3 days after the actual scan date.
  13. Mine spent 3.5 weeks sitting in a rail yard 60 miles from my dealer as well. Waiting on final transport. I tried many avenues to arrange private transport but it was an impossible mission(im in the automotive industry as well and have many connections and contacts in the transport world, but it was still a bust).
  14. There has been nothing official on it. there is no mention of it anywhere in 2022 documents or order guides(late availability options are usually listed). I suspect we will see it in the 2023 trucks.
  15. If you have a vin you have a scheduled build date.
  16. Fair enough. I dont have the luxury to just stay home.
  17. Hopefully soon for you! I ordered June 6th.
  18. I had to use 4x4 within an hour of driving off the dealer lot to get down my snow covered road. The first 3 days of ownership the truck spent more time in 4x4 then 2wd due to a snow storm passing through the area. I also really like using 4x4 when the roads are icy, it seems to give me a bit more stability and keep the rear end from kicking as hard if i hit ice.
  19. Yes, They have the most up to date information available on your order. Ask for a "Vehicle Visibility Report"(it will probably be a picture or a screen shot).
  20. Maybe. It may have already Left and the VVR did not update. Mine was showing "arrived" in Illinois until it updated to "arrived" in Vancouver, BC(2200 miles away). Never got a Departure scan or any intermediate ones.
  21. Ice-capades works at a dealership in the New York Region, that is why the information he posts is for the New York Region. Nobody from another Region has publicly shared their notes to compare that I know of, but as a general guide it appears to be consistent throughout the USA and Canada.
  22. Finally Arrived at my Dealership yesterday! Took delivery today just as a snow storm was setting in. Thanks again for helping me maintain my sanity the last 7 months ?
  23. Took delivery of mine today at the start of a blizzard
  24. If the tracking shows shipped then it has shipped. Your dealer can give you more detailed information about your trucks current location. There are many sources of delay in shipping. One of the biggest is final delivery from the rail yard to the dealership. Mine was originally Scheduled to be Delivered Dec 14th. Arrived at the local rail yard December 9th. Just finally arrived at the dealership today. There was some extreme weather and of course the holidays that didnt help in my case.
  25. Its Agate Black. I did debate changing it to antimatter a few times.
