  1. I agree. The tonneau cover is extremely easy to install after you get your truck. And it will hold up your order for sure. Will add weeks or months to your order. Without it.... It looks like your build would be easy picking for scheduling.
  2. I wish I would get a private cash offer. Lol My first Ford truck and all the signs show that if they don't build my truck. If anyone asks why I didn't buy a Ford. I can tell them that I made a solid effort and they refused. Lol ?
  3. At least they increased the trade in. We all know they are going to charge way more just because they can.
  4. That antimatter blue right? In pictures it looks amazing and in person it looks good. Your truck looks great. Expessually with the black out pack. You already put different wheels on it?
  5. Maybe private sale. If you have a friend or family that will buy it for trade value + 6%. Why give the dealer trying to screw you already a killer deal on your truck. I guess it depends on if you want a fast sale or not.
  6. If they called it a deposit then it cost you 6% more. Trade in takes off the cost of the vehicle and you don't pay sales tax for amount taken off for trade in. Deposit is same as cash. You pay taxes on that. I bet they did the accounting as trade in and made yours a deposit to pocket the extra taxes Unless your not talking about your trade in...
  7. Honestly I don't know what a special ordered truck miles should have on it when you pick it up. I heard 5 miles. But I would not quote that. 21.5 miles sounds high to me. Unless they are more then 5 miles from a fuel station. Does anyone else have some insight on what the milage "should be" on pickup of a special order truck? Or what the milage "was" on pickup for some that already got their trucks?
  8. Ford should force the dealers that pull this crap to pay you $100 per mile someone else test drove your truck if they are found to be in error. And be responsible for any and all scuffs and scratches or damages found. Dealers will be more willing to do the accounting correctly.
  9. So you have a link to the thread? Please and thank you. ?
  10. I also have a similar build. But I ordered a lariat on May 21st. All I get told is spray in bed liner and 5th wheel prep is holding me up. I'm priority 2
  11. The retrax tonneau cover (slides back) with the t-slots allows other attachments for kayaks racks. Renegade tonneau cover (Tri fold) is the most durable and has even more options. It will hold 2000lbs on top of it. And will accept all the same attachments as the retrax.
  12. I wouldn't call it all loyalty. I ordered in May and I am still waiting. Its my first Ford and am trying to be patient but the wait is making it very difficult. Unless the truck is the best and most reliable truck I have ever owned then it may be the only Ford I will ever own. This truck will make me a loyal Ford customer or make me not look at another Ford again. I'm hoping to become a loyal Ford customer so I am still waiting.
  13. I've been wondering the same thing. I have been waiting since May. No signs of getting scheduled anytime soon. With the redesign coming for 2023's I'm not sure if I want the redesign until I see it and know what the changes are.
  14. Justin has helped me several times and had made a effort to get some of my questions answered. He is also the one that got my email added to my order so I could get Fords email updates. I was going to try and get the sale moved over to him and maybe he could be my salesman. Maybe I'll have a better experience with him.
  15. Thank you ice. I may stop in on Tuesday or Wednesday cause the dealership doesnt know how to utilize a phone. Your input and information is always appreciated. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
  16. I did get the 3.55 rear end e locker and sunroof. Can't get my dealer to call me about what's holding up my truck besides the spray in bed liner. They say they get a pre scheduling report Tuesday. But they don't seem to care enough to call me. Guess I will wait till the beginning of the year and see what that Tuesday brings.
  17. I don't remember. Like $1200 or something. And that's if they give me the same discounts. And I'm at priority 02. There is no promise that a new dealer will be any better or could be worse.
  18. And restart my wait since 5/21. And pay the price increase? Lol use the other dealership that is even worse?
  19. Still not scheduled. I ordered a 2022 f350 crew cab lariat ultimate. Blackout .5th wheel. got about everything but adaptive steering. Keep getting a lack of communication from the dealer. I go in and they say they will call me the next day and then just silence. No phone call or anything. They say I'm close but I don't believe anything they say. I even asked if I can change sales guys because he's not actually helping me.
  20. I had the same issue. They said several times it was in the system. I even gave them my email address in person and they still said I wouldn't get a email till I get a vin. Eventually I went in again and spoke with a different sales guy (because the manager didn't seem to have time for me) and the sales guy pulled up the same window ice just posted and told me it was because my email wasn't in the system. I received the confirmation email from Ford as I was walking out of the building. Just like everyone else on here has said.
  21. If they remove your liner and you still have the black out pack. Find out how they did it so I can get my truck scheduled too!
  22. The only reason I haven't removed my prep kit is because of the additional cost to have it installed later. I even spoke with my dealer and asked if they will cut me a deal if I remove it and they install it after it arrives and they get it in stock. He didn't say no but he also didn't sound like he gave a crap if they installed it and charged more then I was quoted. So I'm going to wait for my prep kit. B&W is a great hitch. But its not going to have a clean look like Ford factory install. So I choose pay less for roughly same quality and cleaner install.
  23. What if your free trial ends before your truck arrives? ???
  24. Cleanup Scheduling is the attempt to schedule a dealership's unscheduled allocation due to commodity issues or other factors. (Copy and pasted from ice-capades older posts)
  25. I am very interested in everyone's opinions about bumpers because I will be getting one for my 2022 if it ever gets scheduled. First ford and I want to do my bumper right the first time too!
