2020 f250 lariat 6.7 cc 4x4 16,000 miles. Same truck as my truck thats on order, just in a color I want and NO CHROME>> Dealer gave me 12k over what I paid for it in 2020 and took 7k off the MSRP. How could I not..

I wanted it for the fender flares as its not an option from ford in the Lariat .. I did not get it due to the 3.55 rear end and the 35'' tires. I like getting good mpg. My 2020 6.7 with the 3.31 rear end gets 22-26 mpg on the highway doing 70. Granted the 35'' tires with the 3.55 rear end will get you around the same ratios as the non tremor turcks get, but it takes fuel to turn those big tires. (Hell,, I think I am getting old?)

Ya, I get it but we have area's where the speed limit is 80mph and to get around someone in a timely fashion with limited room 96 just doesnt get it done. I had a 2018 gmc that i had it removed and it helps quite a bit. My 2019 ram 2500 would at least do 105mph stock.

Got the dreaded email.. Pushed back 1 week.. at least its only 1 week at this point.

ICE-CAPADES, If my truck is scheduled for oct-25 does it mean they have all components to build the truck including say "spray in bedliner" and 5th wheel prep. Just making sure that is the case as thats what I think I read on here or could the build still be on hold due to supply issues? Thanks

What are "DRL's". Only thing I really want is to get rid of the speed limiter. My 2020 cut off at 96 mph.. When passing it would be great to be able to go a lil faster.

Has anyone of you heard of forscan, used it and for what? Know of any complications with using it? Thanks all,

Copy, that... I doubt I will get the truck before x-mas but I am rooting for fords problems to get figured out for all. I talked to my sales guy today and normally they have 600 vehicles on their 11 acre store property he said and they now only have about 15 new vehicles on the lot total and only 1 f250 but its a 6.2 reg cab... soo sad.

What did they have to say? Is it actually ordered>??

I think adaptive steering only makes the trucks steering wheel turn the tires quicker with less rotation (1 full turn on the wheel at slow speed to make the tires fully turn). As far as towing a trailer if you want the back up assist (guides the trailer where you aim it) adaptive steering will do nothing for towing a trailer as far as I can tell. From Ford "Adaptive steering adjusts the steering ratio in response to vehicle speed. It adapts automatically to the driving situation, whether you’re doing a low-speed maneuver like parking or backing up a trailer, or traveling at cruising speed on the highway. At lower speeds, the steering ratio decreases, requiring fewer turns of the steering wheel — and less steering effort. At higher speeds, the steering ratio gradually increases, producing a steering feel that is firmer and more controlled.

Mitch, I ordered a f250 lariat, 4x4 cc, diesel, ultimate, with 5th wheel and goose neck, trailering, all the cameras, Black out edition, floor mats, mud flaps ect. NO sunroof as my 2020 has it and never use it, no snow plow prep and no adaptive steering.

I have had great luck with this dealer and they have had great communication with me.. Hopefully you find out all is good with your order. good luck

Kendall Ford, meridian.. I have had great luck with them, this is my second truck from them. I only do truck deals with the sales managers.. I have bought over 20 vehicles in the last 10 yrs. I do not ever deal with the sales persons as they typically have not been doing it long and usually dont know what they are doing. I read what you ordered and it seems to be much like mine, but i didnt get the sunroof this time. Sales manager I used what Andrew.

I dont think I qualified for the x plan price. I did get the "first responder" $500 discount

If you have not gotten an email from ford stating that your order is confirmed, I would ask the dealer to provide you with the order confirmation from ford. My dealer in Boise ID has been completely forthcoming and even called me to let me know I should be getting emails from ford with updates. I received an email from ford 3 days after I ordered the truck saying they had the order and a link to track the process. The only thing that was available for the Lariat that I didnt order was the sunroof, Adaptive steering, plow package and maybe a few other little things. MSRP for the truck was $78,120 I think.

I have the 2020 f250 and It always takes me a few minutes to remember how to turn on the damn heated steering wheel. I was hoping my new 2022 would simply have a button on the dash or wheel like my 2019 dodge does.. so much easier... 1st world problems..

you will notice less MPG obviously as it takes more gas to turn the tires. Hence you will not have the same UMMF or go as you would with the smaller tires.

Dealer called me the same day I got the email with the build date just to make sure I received the email from ford, he said his dealer got notification of 15 of their trucks that were on order got the same build date.
