  1. DId you have yours painted? if so how much did it cost. Thanks
  2. What kind and where did you get your Tremor Fender Flares? Thanks
  3. I didn't, as you really have to look for it. It doesnt bother me. For those worried about MPG as I am: my 2020 ford (same truck package as my new one its just got the black out package). When I picked up my 2020 I drove it home and averaged 19.9 with the full stock valance. My 2022 with the 2x4 valance got 20.9 mpg. for the same trip. Not exact science but was good enough for me.
  4. Will the premium care pay for the replacement of LED lights? On FLOOD's site you can add LED light coverage for like another 150 bucks (approx).
  5. The truck on the Right is my F-250 with the 2 wheel drive front air dam vs the one on the left with the standard 4x4 air dam. The 2 wheel drive is about 3.5" shorter and cost about $140 for the dealer to install. I drove it home to Bend, Or from Boise, Id and got 20.9 mpg with an average speed of 72mph. My truck is the fx4 off road 4x4 with the Diesel. Drove to my daughters about 110 miles round trip at 65mph and got 22 mpg for the trip including a lil bit of city driving. I think the 2x4 looks better and still maintains the fuel mileage.
  6. Flood Ford https://www.floodfordesp.com/esp_plans.php?PlanDetailID=6&ModelID=2&VehicleYear=2022&VehicleMileage=10&StateID=38&TimeCheck=1&AWD=1&Surcharge4=0&Surcharge2=0&Surcharge5=0&Surcharge3=0&Submit=Continue
  7. Ok, so I talked to the Ford's shop mechanic and he said that the new fords run up to about 900 rpms (high idle) when its cold out to get up to operating temp quicker. If its warm out it may not do it. Today I remote started it in 20 degree weather and when I got into the truck it was at 900 rpm's, I touched the brake pedal to put it in drive and it lowered the rpm. I think thats all it is. The mechanic said you cant make it go into high idle on demand like we do with our ambulances and brush trucks to maintain oil pressure and voltage unless you have an aftermarket high idle kit which they do.. Thanks for the comments.
  8. I have the 6.7 Diesel. I doubt it was a regen as it only had 4 miles on it.
  9. Ok, so I could swear that while the dealer was showing me all the bells an how to operate the truck, the truck went into high idle. The sales guy said all you have to do to shut it off is step on the brake. It went into high idle several times. My truck has not went into high idle since while parked.. Was I dreaming this? or was it just a fluke? I have tried putting on the parking break while at idle and nothing, even in cold weather at 32 degrees. ( i swear it went into high idle at the dealership)....
  10. I got my window sticker a lil over 2 months before it was even built. I would assume your sales person is probably giving you lip service... it will take probably at least 2 weeks to ship it.. just my thoughts..but good luck..
  11. I finally got mine and had them put on the 2x4 air dam, its about 4'' shorter than the stock 4x4 one and a lil bigger than the tremor air dam. Here is the picture of mine on the right with the smaller air dam. The one on the left is an f350 vs my f250. FYi. the mileage seems to be fine on the 350 mile drive home over 2 mt ranges doing an average of 70+ i got 20.9 mpg hand checked. The on board computer said 20.7 mpg..
  12. This has been talked about and Ford has price protection. Call customer service at Ford and have them call you dealer. My dealer honored my deal as its fords policy I believe.. And they took 6500 off the MSRP.. $79,665 to $73,150 I only got the $500 off for being a first responder as I didnt qualify for any other price changes reductions.
  13. well I finally got my truck. They had to align the rear bumper as it was 1'' off center. Found out on the 6 hr drive home that the mic for the phone as well as asking the truck to do things like driving direction and such doesnt work, I can hear ppl on the phone they just dont hear me. They are having the local dealer fix it. I did have them take off the standard air dam and replace it with the one like the 2x4 trucks have. Its about 4'' shorter. I was worried a lil about it changing the fuel mileage but it seemed to do fine as my 2020 f250 got 19.9 when I drove it home from the same dealer in Feb 0f 2020 and this 2022 truck with the same drive train got 20.9 for the same trip. Is a 350 mile drive over 2 mountain ranges doing an average of 70 mph. The picture below is my truck on the right vs the f350 on the left with the standard air dam. I think it looks better as I felt the air dam looked like a dozer blade on the front. Overall its a nice truck and the new touch screen is vastly better than the one I had in my 2020 lariat.
  14. My truck showed up at the dealer last week and they told me the bumper was way out of wack. 1'' off center. They are fixing it. Hopefully thats all thats wrong with it. I havent been able to see it as all my firefighters are or have been sick.
  15. I ordered the 2 wheel drive vs the tremor air dam today and the dealership is putting it on for 150 parts included. I could not find how much smaller the tremor one is vs the stock 4x4 one. So I got the measurements from the 4x4 and 4x2 valance. I think I will be happy with 3'' less air dam. May still have the DOZER look but its a lil smaller and still with provide some benefit for mpg and clearance vs the stock 4x4 one. My Dealer keeps the 2x4 in stock and has changed out a lot of them as most ppl agree the stock 4x4 one is just to damn big and looks out of place. 4x4 - 7.50" center - 8.00" side edge height 4x2 - 4.50" center - 5.00" side edge height Tremor - ??
  16. Dealer called today and my truck is at the dealer. I asked him to inspect it for issues and he did. He said the rear bumper is off center by about an inch (they are fixing it) but everything else looks good. Having them take off the standard air dam and replace is with the Tremor air dam which is about 4'' shorter and doesn't look like a Dozer blade under the front bumper as well as the tremor paint to match fender flares and front window tint. Oh, and they are also putting the black walls of the tires facing out vs. the white lettering. I have the black out edition, not sure why ford puts white letter tires on them or at least facing out, least it not white walls.. He said it should be ready for pick up by Thursday. Original order was 8-9-21 F-250 6.7 FX4 lariat Metallic Gray black out, ultimate with 5th wheel and goose neck. NO AS, no sunroof but pretty much everything else.
  17. Well my Lariat went in and out on my 2020.. I would think the 2022 KR would do it as well.
  18. I personally am looking for BINFORD 6100 Programmer = 40 mpg, no emission, and 1000hp with 2000 torque, OHHH OHHH OHHH ( In my Best Tim Allen voice)
  19. I beg to differ, Look at the drivers seat, It has brown on it id bet!!!
  20. You are correct. Those are definitely safe at least from me.. ? Now the USS GASSER??? Those might temp me.. but I would need "ROLLIN COAL" ( i hate the guys that think blowing black smoke it cool ) They ruin the mod market for the responsible users in my opinion.
