    Ordered 8/4. Delivered to dealer 2/9. Dealer says it won't be ready until 2/15 at the earliest and probably 2/16. Is a week for dealer prep standard?

    Cash. I learned long ago not to make installments on depreciating assets. (Some might suggest that these trucks won't depreciate....at least for a while).

    It was a proven reliable motor. Instead of a completely new design....... Why didn't they slap on some modern electronics and stuff it in the SD?

    I bet I can sell my 2022 for at or near what I paid for it and buy a new 2023. Naturally the 2023 will cost more but I can recoup all or most when I sell it for a 2024. As long as demand stays strong I can have a new truck every year for a few thousand $$.

    I ordered a CCSB Platinum 7.3 on 8/4. Options include mud flaps, AS, 20" wheels and 5th wheel prep. I have a build date of 12/20.

    I ordered a 2022 Platinum 7.3 because I don't want to deal with the DEF and increased maintenance. If I don't like the gas I'll order a 2023 with the diesel. I figure I'll get as much for my 2022 as I paid for it.

    Just got a call from my dealer and an email from Ford with VIN that my SD is scheduled for production 12/20. Ordered 8/4. 2022 Platinum CCSB 7.3 20" wheels Adaptive steering 5th wheel prep Carbonized gray

    Inflation for one .....the price of raw materials, labor and freight is going up at about 6% rate (or more ).
