The moonroof is awesome

I ordered my F250 on September 7th. With the UTT and spray in liner. Diesel, 4wd, XLT Premium package, antimatter blue. Delivered on the 20th and picked up today. Totally worth the wait. I sold my 2011 f350 first week of December (a little premature) and drove a 2009 Chrysler sebring for 6 weeks. I recommend everyone drive a pos for a few weeks to really appreciate how nice these trucks are...I can't wait to tow the toy hauler in the spring, lol .... Best super duty yet. It just feels good driving it.

Here's my timeline. About 5.5 months but I got exactly what I wanted. It has the spray-in bedliner, diesel, UTT, XLT premium. Got delivered to the dealer yesterday... I'll be picking it up next week.

I have an XLT ordered in the beginning of September. Scheduled beginning of December and now sitting a few hours away from the dealer for the past week. I don't think trim has much to do with it. Seems they do what's best to get the most trucks completed as possible

I put my order in on Sept 7 for a F250 diesel, spray in liner, XLT, ultimate trailer tow, moonroof. etc December 12th in production December 20th on Chip hold at the factory December 30th got built December 31st got shipped Estimate delivery Jan 12th - 18th

That's the truth! My status was still in production yesterday on a chip hold... and now today it's showing as built with estimated delivery on the 18th

Also makes you wonder how up-to-date the dealers vvr is.... does the email get triggered by a change in the vvr? My dealer shows the same status 2 weeks in a row on their vvr... that it's built, but on a chip hold. And I've never gotten any emails, even tho I've asked that my email is there and accurate and I'm told it is. The single email the dealer forwarded to me did have my first and last name on it.

Looks like mines held up for chip shortage. The ETA is still the same. The dealer said its built, but waiting on the chip. I wonder what chip they need... I'll find it and over pay for it on ebay and have it shipped to them ???

I would think you'd have to activate it in the vehicle before the trial starts. Did you sign up using just your vin?

I had the FordPass app on my phone... just for fun I tried to add the VIN I got last week, my truck went into production a few days ago, and it found the truck... kinda technologically spooky...

How accurate have the estimated delivery dates been?

I have studied the window sticker numbers, order numbers... I've compared other people's window stickers and I still can't see any ryhme or reason, lol!

I haven't gotten any direct emails. The first one was forwarded from the dealer, who insisted my email was entered, and nothing since then. I can't even use the vehicle locator from that email, it just sits on the enter your order and vin number page. I do have a window sticker tho...
