It would require a brand new order. You’re about right on the 3000 lb payload, probably a conservative assumption after all the options are installed. Going up to an F350, you get into 11,400 GVWR on the SWD, so another 1,400 lb of payload (give or take) over the F250. I’m stumped… 3,000 lb is a ton and a half, and I’m pretty sure there are plenty of toy haulers out there that will meet my needs in that weight range. My truck isn’t built yet, but I’m wishing I would have known what I know now when I ordered it.

My GVWR will be 10,800 lb from the factory. I’ll need to get a 5’er toy hauler less than 43 feet, probably in the 35 ft range, with a lower pin weight than the 2,600 lb I was mentioning in my previous post. I think the F250 can handle 5’er just need to temper my expectations. Thanks for the insight!

Thanks. Says hitch (pin) weight is 2,685 lb for this trailer I’m looking at. I didn’t order the gasser, it’s the 6.7 diesel. How is the pin weight applied to the truck from a physics stand point?

I ordered the F250 Lariat, 4x4, CCSB 160”, 3.55, High Tow Capacity, 18” A/T tires. With that configuration, my 5th Wheel Towing Capacity is 19,100 lb. according to the order guide. Looking at the Rogue Armored toy haulers, and the UVW is 12,764 lb. Fully loaded, the GVWR is 16,685 lb. Same set up in an F350, 5th Wheel Towing jumps up to 21,900 lb. So for $555 more, I could have gotten an extra 2,800 lb of 5th wheel towing capacity. Other than potential buyer’s remorse, should I have any concerns from a functional standpoint?

It’s probably very likely that our orders won’t be delivered until 2022. I have a retail priority code 02, still not sure what that means in the grand scheme of things. Ordered mid July. I removed spray in bedliner last week and 5th wheel prep. No scheduled build date yet.

Is there an easier way to check order status than calling Ford Marketing? Dealer I work with doesn’t apply customer emails to their order. I call the 1-800 frequently and the order is there, I’m just looking for a less time intensive approach. No VIN yet as of 11/12, ordered 7/19.

I had my dealer add the Lariat Ultimate pkg and LED headlights last week too. At the price point, might as well get what you want.

Can you please post your window sticker or list all your added options + trim level? Curious about any commodity constraints. My dealer is removing spray in bed liner and 5th wheel/gooseneck prep package tomorrow to hopefully get scheduled sooner. Ordered 7/19.

Ordered mine on 7/19. 2022 6.7L Lariat, 160” SRW, Crew Cab, Iconic Silver, High Towing Pkg, 3.55 e-lock axel, 397A Alt, FX4, No AS, spray bed liner, upfitters, heated rear seats, black onyx, rear bed cam, clearance lights, extended side step, tailbed step, carpet delete, all weather mats, Lariat Value Pkg, wheel well liners, 18” wheels, 275/70/18 A/T, engine block heater, camper 5th wheel prep, goose neck kit… No VIN yet, it’s been 15 weeks. Called Ford, and it’s status is ‘Order Processing’. Priority code is 02. Not sure what the hold up is. Sharing my accessories/options to see if there is a pattern. Live in TN region.

No AS It’s 11/2, still nothing scheduled, no VIN. No order confirmation from Ford as my dealer keeps those communications in-house. Dealer has the confirmation though, and I called Ford Marketing who confirmed the order. Just wondering what’s taking long.
