  4. Having too much time while waiting on my truck, I have gone back and forth on this. Current choice is the Leer Quad fold. Several reviews mention they tow 5th wheels/goosenecks with 3 panels folded flat. It also can stand up (not touching the cab/rear window) and is held that way with 2 struts, and appears to be below the CHMBL/camera. And easy to remove if necessary. I ordered a short bed, so I think it will give me more of the bed to use. Kind of the best compromise for me, it seems.
  5. Saw the below in another forum- just an FYI for an option to the Flood ESP pricing: While production issues continue on into 2022, we wanted to find another way we as a dealership can add value to the forum. We've made the decision to run a special on Ford Protect Extended Service plans for all forum members (this applies whether you purchased from us or not!). Starting today we are going to offer Ford Protect Extended Service Plans for $50 over our dealer cost on any Super Duty Truck, whether you purchased it from us or another dealership. This represents a savings on average of $1000-$2000 from other dealerships in-person pricing and a discount from other online Ford Protect retailers as well. We will run this special through the end of April and reasses the volume. After the first initial roll out of this program, we will move our discount to $100 over dealer cost. How do you get this started? Please send an email to fordesp@grangermotors.com with the following information: Name Address Phone number VIN Mileage on Super Duty now Coverage desired (years and mileage) The entire process will be handled seamlessly online by electronic signature and a secure electronic deposit. Your contract will be in force within 2-3 business days of completion of the deposit and electronic signature. Ford's ESP system is nationwide and will update electronically within their system showing your contract status, so you won't need a paper copy of the contract to bring with you, it is tied to your VIN number. Ford pass points can be used towards the purchase of these contracts as well! Have another Ford or Lincoln vehicle you'd like to add coverage to? Our pricing will be $100 over dealer cost. This should meet or exceed any other pricing you find online. The process is initiated the same way by emailing fordesp@grangermotors.com with the information above. This offer is good for anywhere in the U.S. and Canada with the exception of the state of Florida.
  6. After looking at several options, I *think* I am going to opt for the Leer quad fold. I can fold it upright, easy to remove if necessary, and some of the comments on different sites mention they tow 5th wheels with 3 panels folded flat. I am still waiting on my truck, so still time to ponder. Truck build date just got moved again last Thursday, from 3/14 to 3/28. 4th moved build date, am hoping it holds. Waiting for my truck just makes for a longer list of wants and needs for when it actually gets here. Argh.
  7. Likewise. Original email 2/1 for build date 3/7. Email on 2/5 saying build date moved back to 3/14, then an email on 2/7 advising build date changed back to 3/7. Email received last night moving build date again to 3/21. Argh.
  8. '22 F350 7.3 CCSB SRW Lariat Ultimate Antimatter Blue w/ Chrome pckg. Current build date 3/7. Short list (ASAP): Line-X bedliner Hard Tonneau (leaning toward Gator FX3 or Armor Flex B&W Gooseneck Ball Kit 6" Drop Hitch (2.5" ) Rear seat cover May trim Valance Longer Term (no particular order): Bigger tires Rear suspension air bags On-board compressor Train Horn Raptor-style grill lights LED Auxiliary lights front LED Back-up lights Front Receiver Hitch Winch Kit and wiring harness (front to back)
  9. Waiting on my ordered F350 CCSB 7.3 Lariat Ultimate w/ 5th wheel prep (current estimated build date 3/7). Looking for input on a secure tonneau cover that works with the CHMBL camera for hooking up, maybe occasional checking on RV/cargo. I like the fold up type (Gator FX3, BAK, etc.) and some look like they may not block the CHMBL camera. I've seen the roll-up hard covers (like the revolver), which seem to be the best solution. Anyone out there found the best solution? It seems the roll-ups are convenient and secure, but mixed reviews on long-term use. I also am concerned about whether the rails on the flush-mount type covers interfere with the use of a 5th wheel or goosebox. If anyone has a cover they like and works for towing I'd like to hear about it. Thanks in advance for your help. Toe_Truck
  10. Ordered 10/27. Priority code 10, F350 SRW CCSB 4x4 Lariat Ultimate w/ 5th wheel prep, Spray in bedliner, sunroof, mudflaps, wheel well liners. Dropped bedliner around 1/17. Received VIN and build date of 3/7 on 2/1. Then on 2/5 received an email pushing build back to 3/14. Received another email from Ford on 2/7 advising build date moved back to original 3/7 date. I was set on waiting for the 5th wheel prep. Good luck.
  11. I just got the same email tonight! What’s on your build? Just curious. Mine is a 6.7 CC350 Lariat Ultimate Sport, moonroof, rapid red. My build is an Antimatter Blue F350 SRW 7.3 CCSB Lariat Ultimate, Chrome pkg, sunroof, w/ 5th wheel prep. I dropped the spray-in bedliner about 2.5 weeks ago. Ordered 10/27.
  12. My first email (2/1) from Ford provided my VIN and advised my build date would be March 7. Then, on 2/6 I received an email from Ford moving the date to March 14. Then on 2/8 at 10pm I get another email from Ford moving my build date to March 7. Truck is a 7.3 F350 SRW CCSB Lariat Ultimate with 5th wheel prep - I dropped the spray-in bedliner about 2.5 weeks ago. Order date was 10/27/21. Will update when I get the next email moving it back ?
  13. Just received another email from Ford (at 10:00 Monday night). My build date has been moved to March 7 - a week sooner than the last email moving it to 3/14 from the original build date (March 7). Again, I hope it holds. Or moves up - but I don't see that happening.
  14. Got the same email 2/5. Crossing my fingers this delay is related to the factory reduced production announcement, and no further delays expected. Not betting on it though, preparing for a little longer wait.
  15. Received an email from Ford yesterday morning - production for my truck has been moved back to week of March 14. I am not sure if Ford's reports of limiting production at it's plants will add additional delays in production. I sure hope not. Good luck out there everyone who is waiting. Toe Truck
  16. Checking for any additional information. Received email from Ford on 2/1/22 advising Build date of 3/7/22 VIN: 1FT8W3BN6NED85523 Order Code: P800 Sales Code: F21544 Dealership: Cromley's, Inc. 17. Ordered 10/27/21. F350 SRW Lariat Ultimate. 5th wheel prep, bedliner, moonroof, wheel liners, mudflaps. No AS. Dropped bedliner 1/17/22, received email today with VIN and scheduled for 3/7/22. Hope build date stays true.
  18. Received my email from Ford this morning. F350 SRW Lariat Ultimate w/ 5th wheel prep scheduled for production 3/7/22. I dropped the spray-in bedliner two weeks ago. No AS. Was a priority code 10 from order date of 10/27/21. Dealer had told me probable March build/delivery when I ordered, so he was pretty much on it. Hope the schedule holds up. Toe Truck
  19. Checking - I did call and delete the spray bedliner, in hopes to help things along. Order Code: P800 Sales Code: F21544 Dealership: Cromley's, Inc. (Saluda, SC) Ordered 10/27/2021; Confirmed via email 10/28/2021 Thank you (again) for your help, Toe Truck

The industry’s premier Spray-On Truck Bedliner is now available in your choice of color or color-matched to your trucks automotive paint code. LINE-X XTRA delivers added protection against cracking, bubbling, peeling and color fading. No "Platinum" shown, so not sure what that is compared to Level 1 or 2. I've decided to get Level 2 as I am planning on getting a hard tonneau cover to use when not towing - so no need for a color match. Thanks for the comments.
  21. Recently deleted the Ford spray-in bedliner in hopes it will help my truck get scheduled (still holding out for the 5th wheel prep package). In checking out the price on the Line-X products with a local dealer, they now offer a color-match bedliner product based on the truck's paint codes. For an F350 CCSB, Line-X regular with lifetime runs $550.00, Line-X + with top coat runs $650.00, and the paint code product runs a little over $1k. Anyone out there have any experience with the color-match bedliner (or the top-coat product) that could help with my decision? Leaning toward the top-coat version at present, but it looks like I have time to make a decision. Thanks in advance - Toe Truck
  22. Still waiting on my truck. Other owners may be able to answer. I've heard the 4.30 may cost you a mpg with the 7.3 over the 3.55. Dealer advised he did not believe there would be much of a difference between the 3.73 and the 3.55 in mpg, but the 3.73 would be a little better towing. Will report after I get it. Toe Truck
  23. I recently ordered an F350 SRW when I originally was intending to order an F250. The difference is about $1k, but the F350 has a heavier rear axle and rear suspension. The F350 I ordered also came with the 3.73 Electronic real differential, which absorbed some of the difference in cost. I ended up ordering an F350 SRW 7.3 Lariat Ultimate CCSB, and I will have more towing capacity if I upgrade to a 5th wheel in the near future. I also occasionally pull a trailer for my tractor which can weigh around 9k and has decent tongue weight, so I think the F350 will have less sag with the heavier rear springs. The dealer advised the empty driving is similar in both the F250 and F350. I also liked the idea of the 3.73 rear end as a compromise between the 3.55 and 4.30, especially with the 10 speed AT. Hope this helps, and good luck.
