Same with me. The conversation was short. I asked him about signing a purchase agreement but he said that would be done after the truck arrived and would include any incentives that come up. He did say the price on the DORA would be the most I would pay. I’m picking mine up as-is, no extra work. Cash deal. No extended warranty. I will be trading in a 2018 F-150 Lariat(yes risky to drive that far to negotiate a trade in). Finally, I have an earlier order(same build) scheduled from another dealer. I ordered 2/7/22 from Dexter Watts of Koons Woodbridge VA. Has not been scheduled yet. I have not seen any complaints but would like to learn more since I will be driving from Florida (12 hrs) to pick up.

F-250 Lariat, ultimate, 6.7L, spray bed liner, hitch prep ordered/confirmed 12/23/21 vin #, scheduled build. 2/7/22 build date 3/21/22 The email I received from Ford Motor Co stated the production date for my vehicle had changed although it had not been previously scheduled. I thought it was odd. I had placed the same order with another dealer four days earlier. Coincidence maybe.

Placed order 12/23/21 (above MSRP) at a small dealership in Southern GA. No deposit signed build sheet with DL. Order confirmed same day. F250 Lariat 6.7 diesel. Ultimate Package, High tow, FX4, Chrome Package, hitch prep, spray bed liner. This past Monday ordered same truck from a dealer in VA at 4% under invoice plus $1000.($7000 lower OTD)Order confirmed. $1000 refundable deposit. Called first dealer to discuss the lower quote and was told they could not come close to matching that price. Today I received email my original order has been scheduled for March 21 build week. 7 weeks to get a build date. About what I was told by dealer. Also today I received a message on Ford Pass App with a $2,500 exclusive cash offer that can be applied to purchase before 4/4/22 Just wanted to share my experience so far. VA dealership- Koons Woodbridge Ford.

I was very uninformed about the process until finding this forum. Thank you moderator’s and posters. I placed a retail order 12/23/21 at a small Ford dealership in southern Georgia. Received order confirmation same day. F-250 Lariat 4x4, 160” WB, iconic silver/carbonized gray, 6.7 power stroke, FX4 package, chrome package, lariat ultimate package, highest trailer tow package. Was told at least 12 weeks by salesman. Priority Code 19. If I am approved by the moderator I will post updates as I get them for comparison. Thanks again for all the information.
