  1. Akirby, Would you please upload this updated "Super Duty Order Guide.pdf" file to the same place that Ice had the original file. The location of the old file is at the top of this page and under the "Dealer Order Guides". Thanks for helping with this forum!!!!
  2. Has anyone found a PDF of the 2023 Super Duty ordering guide version 3/17/2023? Ice uploaded the ordering guide last year and is available at the following location:
  3. Akirby, Thanks for everything you do on this forum to keep us informed. I have ordered a 2023 F-450 King Ranch new order two months ago before the F-450 order bank was closed. Will I received communications from Ford every 45 days from the order date or will I receive the communication when Job #2 starts being scheduled sometime in March?
  4. Ford just release information that they have a parts shortage and there are 40,000 to 45,000 high-margin trucks and SUVs partially built and waiting for parts. Here is the news release. https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/ford-drops-carmaker-warns-higher-204703896.html
  5. Ice / AKirby, I just wanted to thank both of you from the bottom of my heart. Our F450 has been delivered to the dealership and with all of your comments on the forum, we were able to purchase the truck at MSRP when it was ordered and receive the Ford reward discount. We are blessed receiving our truck knowing there are so many earlier customers still waiting for their truck.
  6. Thank you for your comments above. I will inform the dealer that there are two different screens within Smart Vincent. One screen that shows the “Current Incentives” and another screen that shows the “at time of order Incentives” and if they have questions to call Ford directly. I initially thought that “at time of order” meant that the incentive had to be selected when I ordered the vehicle and the reward had expired on 1/3/22.
  7. Thank you for all your incites. I really appreciate all the efforts you and Ice do for the loyal Ford customers!!!!!!
  8. Is there anything that can be done now since the dealership didn't claim the reward at the time of order?
  9. In October 2021 I received in the mail an offer that I could obtain a $2000 reward if I purchased a Super Duty Truck. I went in and ordered a Ford Super Duty F-450. The fine print of the Ford reward specifies that you need to place an order or take new retail delivery from an authorized Ford dealer’s stock by 1/3/22. I just received an email stating that the F-450 has been built and is currently being shipped. I went into my local Ford dealership today to firm up the finances of my order and check on the reward. The salesman went to claim the reward in VINCENT using #38266 and wasn’t able to find the reward. Do you have any suggestions on how to claim the $2000 reward?
  10. Ice-capades / akirby Thank you for all of your comments on this forum. Both of you help the general public understand price protection and the complexities of part shortages and limited production capabilities at this time. I have a question about ordering options available on the F-450 super duties and don’t know which forum to ask this question. The F-450 comes with only one option (4.30 rear axle ratio) and the F-350 DRW has several rear axle ratios (3.55, 3.73, 4.10 and 4.30). The new 10-speed transmission has plenty of gears and the F-450 would get better MPG when unloaded. Is there any way to have the Ford engineering team evaluate having more gear ratio options in F-450 23MY?
  11. How many super duty's did they build a week back in 2019?
  12. I know that Ford is doing their best to fill the orders in a timely maner and it is good business to take care of the customer. I am willing to wait as long as needed to get a new F-450 knowing the commodity restraints are limiting Ford's ability to build super duty trucks. The main point of my previous post was that my dealer told me that I was responsible for all price increases until the widow sticker was available. I know there was a price increase the end of last year and there may be an additional price increase before my vehicle is scheduled to be manufactured. Would you please point me to any external documentation that retail orders are automatically priced protected to the price at the time the vehicle was ordered and not the time when the window sticker is available. I am very sorry for bringing up the delivery delay and apologize for my previous post. Thanks for your help in advance!!
  13. I ordered an F-450 lariat on Oct 9, 2021 with adaptive steering, spray in bed liner, 19.5 inch wheels, and 5th wheel prep kit, and expect the build date months from now due to the 40+ weeks delay. My dealer told me that I was responsible for all price increases until the window sticker is available. Where is it documented that retail orders are automatically price protected to the price at the time the vehicle was ordered and not the time when the window sticker was available? I would like to take this information into my dealer and show him the price protection has been around for decades and reduce the cost of the F-450. Thanks.
