  1. When I spoke to the sales manger because I wasn’t getting enough answers from the salesman, he said I should call the salesman with whom I placed my order.
  2. Wouldn’t you know it. My F350 is ‘scheduled to day’ for Jul 2nd. So even if it gets built, it’ll sit there very likely and won’t catch a train ride to Texas until the 2wk shut down ends.
  3. I ordered Mar 25th and couldn’t add clearance lights to my F350 XLT SRW. Also couldn’t add adjustable pedals or even upfitter switches. Frustrating!
  4. Ordered on 03/25, got VIN on 05/20. Scheduled to production week 6/20. F-350. XLT w/ Premium Pkg, CCLB, FX4. 7.3 w/ 4.30 diff. Still didn’t get all the options I wanted but I’m going to live with it. Dealer tried for several weeks to add clearance lights, adjustable pedals and upfitter switches. Could never figure out why. Dealer guessing that Ford had commodity constraints on those. I won’t cry with this fast build tho.
  5. Heavy duty ranch hand or some other is my plan. Probably wouldn’t have helped the situation with the truck in this case but for other lesser encounters it is useful.
  6. I asked the dealer to improve my priority code from 19. Got changed it to a10, then I saw that everyone pretty much is a 10. When everyone is top priority code, no one is a top priority code. Ok there’s a few odd balls but mostly 10s everywhere. I just wish I knew how much allocation the dealer receives.
  7. Thx. I was able to find the dealer order guide. Was looking for something like this in late Feb as I was researching the truck and looking to order. Overall I think I understood the packages but definitely not an expert.
  8. My order isn’t confirmed yet. At the time the order was placed, the salesman said he couldn’t add those, but he couldn’t explain why. He did say that as a check, he tried it on a DRW (my order is for a SRW), and it let him add the options to it, but on my SRW he couldn’t.
  9. I’ve got on order an F350 CCLB FX4, XLT premium package. I’ve asked the dealer to put a couple of add-ons, namely 1. Upfitter switches 2. Roof clearance lamps / lights 3. Power adjustable pedals Order does show Preferred Equipment Package 613A, which I’m not certain what that means. Salesman is telling me that he can’t do it in the system and so my order doesn’t include these. Is it possible Ford is not allowing these options due to shortages? Any experienced folks know of issues or is the salesman just incompetent?
  10. Phill DaBank is a play on words. But it is how I do things. I fill the bank so I can get some stuff, I’m a mechanical design engineer in the oil industry that enjoys doing blue collar projects for friends, family and around my own property. Welding, construction, electrical, networking, dirt work with my 1 series John Deere, everything skills trade I like doing. Lastly, I keep stocked on ammo and build ARs once in awhile. That’s me.
  11. I know someone that ordered an F250 XLT on Mar 10th. Received VIN Mar 23rd and was told by dealer truck was scheduled for week of May 2nd. Priority code with his dealer was 13.
  12. Should a dealer show the x-plan pricing on the order or does that come later when vehicle arrives? My dealer accepted the x-plan and confirmed no add-on packages upon arrival but the order sheet doesn’t show anything about x-plan. It’s a 19 priority.
