  1. Take the status with a grain of salt. It comes from machines talking to each other. You know it's real when your truck is in your driveway. On X Plan the Document fee is limited to $100; don't let your dealer forget.
  2. Maybe completed in factory and sent off site for spray in bedliner or something else that is applied off site.
  3. I asked the dealers sales rep for an email weekly showing the VVR information so I have current status. She responded that she is not sure what a VVR is. Please, what does VVR stand for? Found it - Vehicle Visibility Report (VVR). The VVR is usually monitored by the inventory manager. I also don't believe she is monitoring status as the last build week provided by dealer was 20 Feb and last week Ford Customer Service gave 6 Feb. Today she restated the 20 Feb date.
  4. It is easier to call or chat with Ford customer service.
  5. When I looked at the details it showed everything that I selected except the power extending mirrors. Build week, last I checked, is 6 Feb, so I'll know once I'm able to pull up the window sticker. Would be disappointed, but not a deal breaker.
  6. Thank you. I can see my order there. A Canadian advantage with an American company. It looks like the power retracting mirrors were deleted. I really wanted those. We'll just have to wait and see.
  7. Go on Ford dot com and initiate a chat. Ask for current status of your order and give them the order number and vin. Or call Ford customer service and give them your order number and vin. i believe that their phone number is 800-334-4375 or 800-392-3673. I believe that their hours are 9 - 5 Eastern.
  8. Have you checked to see if the build week has changed? Mine was 2 Jan, then 20 Feb, and now it's 6 Feb.
  9. That sounds like what I was told by customer service. But, I still check 10x a day. Just in case. Week of 6 Feb for build now. F250, XLT, CC, SWB.
  10. I don't think that you'll see new Fords coming with Firestone tires again.
  11. I can understand that. $100 is something that I can live with.
  12. Sorry, the planning that I mentioned is on my end. Like selling or trading in old truck and purchasing accessories. I don't want to purchase any accessories until the truck is shipped. I worked logistics for over 25 years so I have an idea of sone of the issues the Ford is facing. The just in time order and shipping for production really gets wacked when one supplier fails to meet delivery time.
  13. Not really anxious, I just like to have current estimates. So I can plan a little.
  14. Frustrated because my order does not come up on the Ford order tracking page I went on Ford's chat this morning and asked, "What's up?" On Ford Chat they told me that my order is scheduled for build 20 Feb. They stated that it should be on the tracking site, "once it goes into production." I sent dealer a message on 2 Jan and asked if there was any change as when the dealer gave me the VIN they told me that it was scheduled for production 2 Jan.
  15. Be aware that DEF expires and the truck will recognize old DEF and go into limp mode if old DEF is detected.
  16. Last summer I took delivery of a vehicle ordered under X=plan. When the dealer brought out the contract there was an over $500 doc fee. I showed them the X=Plan site and they changed it to $100.
  17. In some states it is illegal to have any tint, other than factory, on the two front side windows. May you never say, "I didn't see it coming."
  18. Every time a vehicle is moved there is an opportunity for damage. You don't want to be moving a lot of vehicles around to get to the one that was built first to get it out. The situation is temporary. The goal is to ship all of the completed vehicles as soon as possible with the least amount of shuffling.
  19. He probably won't post unless he has some reliable pertinent information. I haven't seen him post speculation.
  20. On 14 December 2022, Monument, Colorado, $3.29 per gallon for unleaded regular with NO ethanol. I believe that with ethanol was under $3. I don't use ethanol unless it is the only fuel available as I get 10% better mileage with ethanol free gas as opposed to gas with up to 10% ethanol. The only benefit of ethanol in gas is money for the ethanol producers.
  21. 9 Dec - Dealer called and informed me that a VIN has been assigned and the truck is scheduled for production the first week of January. Have not received any emails from Ford. Am able to find on the Ford My Account to track status. Not a MY 2022 rollover. Ordered 27 Oct 22 XLT Stone Grey
  22. Try checking out this youtube video. How to install a factory brake controller F250 Super Duty 2017-2021 - YouTube Looked like it wouldn't be too hard. Ask the sales rep to add a computer flash to the due bill (maybe they will) for goodwill. They should give you a 10% discount on parts when you purchase a new vehicle.
  23. When I ordered the dealer told me that the $500 deposit is fully refundable if the truck arrives and I don't like it. Maybe the deposit and how it is handled is subject to dealer policy. The dealer i used to order from never required a deposit when ordering. Moved out of state, so different dealer now.
