The current commercial says order now and lock in finance rate. If you've already signed the finance agreement and drove away, you are locked to that contract. But, you can probably pay it off without penalty. Check rates at your local bank, credit union, and even State Farm loans on vehicle purchases. Good luck.

For the time being. I envision a time when most vehicles will be ordered direct from manufacturer. Dealership focus will be maintenance and used vehicles while maintaining a few new vehicles in a showroom. But, yes, we are the dealers retail customer and the dealership is Fords wholesale customer.

By installing the tire on a rim that is narrower than the tire was designed for you would be changing the geometry of the tire. Tire behavior would be unpredictable when operating under severe conditions and you may break the seal at the bead. There just may be a logical reason that some dealers would not install a tire on a rim that is narrower than it was designed for.

Saw a Ford ad on the telly today, Thanksgiving and I assume that it is a national spot. Ad said to order your new Ford today so that you can lock in the price. Sales staff should be aware of what is being advertised by Ford, especially since the dealer pays Ford a fee for advertising.

It is on my 2017 F150. I have never set it up. They should save the chip for something else.

My DORA includes X=Plan pricing.

Ford received orders for over 50,000 vehicles in the first five days that the window was open. They produce around 50,000 Super Duty's a month. May take a little to schedule. One of the scheduling variables is that all parts are available. I'm waiting for the first email. Dropped my order off at dealer on 27 October, DORA dated 1 Nov. I went on Ford.com chat today and was informed that my order is in the Ford system.

YES, I tried as soon as I saw your post and I still could not get to the build process. Kept trying. Now I have completed the X-Plan build of the 2023 F250 Crew cab, with a few options, and the savings is about $2800. Gotta love the DAV.

Just signed into the Ford X Plan site and it now shows the X Plan Pricing for base 2023 Superduty's. It does not allow you to build a 2023 yet.

I received a DORA with MSRP and no X Plan price listed. I asked the dealer if it should show an X Plan Price and she responded that she will send a new DORA as soon as she has one.

I don't believe that my dealer wants to order a truck for me. I dropped off the guide, on Oct 27, with a list of all of the options that I would like, with numbers, and they haven't got it right yet. The first build they did wasn't even the correct color. I just don't understand... 4th time. Looks like they finally got it right. Just received their revised build, Oct 31. Now I wonder how long it will take them to enter it into the system and what priority they will give it. Then, we wait.

The retail build system does not show the retractable corner step. It does list the retractable side step twice. The sales manager attempted to load it into the order system, but said that the Ford order system was overloaded and that he could not get in. He said the he would message me once the order is placed. This will be the 2d Superduty that I have ordered. The rest I've purchased off the lot. I did ask for a #10 also. Looks like the X Plan savings isn't as much as it once was. Attached is not what I ordered; it is what I spec'd out for a 2022. Yesterday, 25 Oct, my dealer told me that the order banks don't open until 7 Nov. Maybe I should find a new dealer?
