Get used to it😂 I'm on year 3 of my wait. I do have a 2023 KR 450, but it’s not what I ordered. I had to scrounge this thing up, and was only able to get it when the couple that ordered it backed out of their deal.

Are you ok? Is simple anger getting the best of you?

I just went and made some changes with my dealer on my 2024 King Ranch 450 build. I am glad I have this 2023 KR I was able to source so I know better what I like and don’t like. It doesn’t affect my build as they are on strike and it never has been picked up yet🤣 I deleted the sunroof, added the slide in camper certificate, added rapid supplemental heat and did not add engine heater. I did not reorder the H.O. Engine as I planned. There really isn’t that noticeable of a difference from driving one. I’m sure some love it and I would too, but is it really worth 2500? I’m still on the fence on that. I also changed paint from the Oxford bright white to the Metallic Star white. I deleted the $780 retractable bed step. I’ve seen one on a truck and I’m not a fan. The last change I made was a carpet delete with the all weather mats. I’m a job #1 order with a priority code of 3. Hopefully this will be picked up if these guys get back to work.

Lol so the goal posts keep moving. So now add to the list find your dealer and only wait nine months for a KR ultimate. Seeing that there is no KRU in 2023 I’m taking you ordered your truck before this? Can your dealer source 19.5” wheels since Ford cannot? Unless they go back to those wonky 17” wheels like 2011 450s will be vaporware. Don’t you think leadership should plan for this since they have already jacked things up for the prior year with sourcing from vendors What’s the definition of insanity again? I don’t think you understand, I own a ‘23 450 KR that I located on the other side of the country. I’m not upset that I don’t have one as it’s parked in my barn. But Ford being run by a cabal of nincompoops is something I do not want. I’ve never not owned a Ford in my life. In fact this is my 8th Super Duty and my 5th King Ranch. The brand is being ruined by this knuckleheads incompetence and that is not something I desire.

How many are 450s? Not many. It’s embarrassingly obvious that Farley couldn’t find his way out of a corner. So don’t order a KR, now don’t order a 450… when does it stop?

Well, I just got the Ford “we are completely incompetent and we have no clue what we are doing” email on my 24 450 KR order. not surprised 🤣 it’s truly laughable now. Anyone carrying Ford’s water these days is blind or a fool.

How about getting someone who can ensure that high end super duty’s are built? waiting three years for a truck truly demonstrates the absolute incompetence of the C suite at Ford.

I ordered a 24 KR but it doesn’t have a build date. Just typical ford doing ford stuff. Imagine that I’m glad I scored my 23 F450 KR that I had to drive 3/4 of the way across the country to get.

I just received mine as well. Since it didn’t specify my wife asked me is it for the 2022 we didn’t receive, the 2023 we didn’t receive or the 2024 that’s on order. My reply to her was simply, yes. eta: I found Farley’s cell through a mutual business acquaintance. I’m thinking about shooting him a text message asking for clarification on their emails🤣

F450? good luck amigo. I just picked up a 23 KR 450 that a cx backed out on and drove to WY to get it. Ford didn’t pick up my 2023 order… chances of my 2024 King Ranch 450 being built are slim to none and slim left town I feel. if Ford can pull it’s head out of its rear end and build my truck I’ll trade the 2023 slick for the 24. in this market you won’t see depreciation you are concerned about I feel. I got more on trade for the 23 450 XLT I just traded than I paid with 7k miles.

Well… The mythical, elusive KR 450 is on its way home. only 16 more hours to go…

This one is two tone so it must be standard now. Use to have to pay 1600 and lose painted bumpers if you wanted it I thought. I had to order mine without as I had the black/agate. I prefer the look😀

I just got back from Montana hauling a 17k lb fiver. I used a 2023 450 and the temps actually surprised me. Normal temps was about 200 or a bit more on coolant, oil and transmission. I did hit 230 on oil, 218 on transmission and 220 on coolant but then the big LOUD fan kicks on and the temps drop like a rock. There was a stretch of about 15 miles my transmission didn’t go below 212.

That’s awesome! I read Ford won’t price protect the 23 hold overs so I was fortunate that a retired couple decided to stay with their 2022…. Ergo I get to buy their 2023 KR 450. I paid more than X plan for this but less than sticker as they gave me a ridiculous trade amount for the 2023 XLT 450. they are hauling it to Cheyenne to get the bed sprayed and I will be picking it up next Friday. 2300 mile rd trip but oh well. The dealership has been fantastic to work with and it will be good to meet them and thank them for the painless and easy transaction.

Well I guess a blind squirrel finds an acorn every now and then. I found a KR 450 1379 miles away that someone backed out on. Driving up next week to trade the 2023 XLT in on it. im still buying the 2024 I had reordered from my non produced 2023 order. I should make a pretty penny on selling the low mileage 2023 one.

My XLT 450 I bought two weeks ago cut off abruptly a few times at first. I just made a 2100 mile run back south and I didn’t have an issue with the high flow diesel pumps.

Confusion, misdirection, obfuscation at its finest. lemme get right on that 150 purchase to tow my mini ex and skid steer.

Why don’t you break that “F” series down for us by model amigo.
