  1. The brake light on my ‘24 platinum came on last week and would not turn off. It’s 3 weeks old with 970 miles on it. Drove to the dealership and noticed the brakes popping randomly. Turns out the brake booster went bad somehow while sitting in the subzero cold. Waiting for the part to come in still.
  2. A few people called Ford and were told that they eliminated this on the 2024. For what reason we have no idea.
  3. It will move. I was originally scheduled 10/16. Went to 10/23 and now 11/20. I read they are currently having a parts shortage. F250 platinum crew 7.3
  4. My platinum F250 is scheduled for production the week of 10/19. That’s a lot sooner than it was estimated by the dealership. Originally they said higher trims would be a while. Maybe almost 12 months.
  5. Are they going to build ‘23s and ‘24s side-by-side? I thought I read some people have build days for the 2024 in the beginning of October.
  6. I know the feeling. I took delivery of my ‘22 in January on ‘23. It is a F250 platinum. When speaking with the lady at Ford corporate. She said she couldn’t guarantee all platinums would be built in ‘23. So she pushed mine through last minute. It literally went from in production to built and delivered in less than 5 weeks. I didn’t want to wait another year after already waiting a full year for the ‘22
  7. When I talk to Ford corporate back in November. She said they would be extending PCO’s and giving us an incentive depending on what model you had. I asked what that incentive would be. She said it would not be known until the day you’re there to sign the paperwork. which kind of sucks. they decided to push through my ‘22 last minute which is fine. I got that two months ago. With all these delays now, I could not imagine waiting another year on top of the year already wasted.
  8. Also with an abbreviated production run. Sounds like a lot of cancellations at the end of the year.
  9. Granger price protected and honored my PCO after a 1 year wait.
  10. My 2021 had that issue. I believe they just glued it down after I brought it up. But mine was on the passenger side. Kind of annoying to look at.
  11. My platinum has finally arrived at the dealership. 2/16/22- order confirmed 12/3/22-scheduled for production 12/5/22-Built 12/8/22-shipped with 12/20-12/26 eta 12/21/22- arrived at dealership
  12. You should really call to find out. I know MY23 ordering is closed for any trim higher than a Lariat right now. I would fight to get your king ranch scheduled saying no one told you.
  13. I was at 10 months. That’s why I didn’t want to get cancelled and have to order the ‘23. I didn’t want to wait another 8 to 10 months for the platinum to get built in the summer. I don’t know what’s going to happen with next year’s model. There are so many orders and they’re running the shortest production run they’ve ever had.
  14. F250 platinum SRW FX4 6.75’ bed 6.2L upfitters clearance lights dual battery front/rear wheel well liners mud flaps hood deflector
  15. I live in that area as well. I used to take the train from Geneva to Chicago daily. Have you seen all the damaged cars and trucks parked over there? I wonder how many fall off the ramp or the how many they crashed into the side of something. Sad thing is, they fix it right up and sell it to you without even telling you.
  16. It’s about $7k in savings. I’m in the same boat. Not in a hurry so I’ll wait to save $7k.
  17. Reach out to ford to see. That’s what I did. They took my order number, PCO number and everything. I just don’t know if dealers have enough allocations this year. Didn’t they say it’s a short production run for the MY23, then a full run for MY24? That is why I’m kind of happy about my ‘22 getting built. I didn’t want to wait until the summer for the job2 production to get my platinum. It’s been long enough
  18. Cancelled orders still got 2% under invoice. All new orders were $1500 above invoice.
  19. Canceled orders get priority at granger. The 120 allocations don’t include the 20 cancellations at the front of the line. I was one of them but I got a production email from ford a few days ago for my platinum with a November 28th production date which caught me off guard. I was already in discussions with ford about what they were going to do with my cancelled order. -if you had a pco for your MY22 order they are extending those for the MY23 -ford will also issue another pco to use at the time of purchase to offset the increase. This pco is stackable and is determined by which model you order and the difference in price. Ford would not hint at the total of the second pco. Just saying you will know at the time of purchase.
  20. I really thought I was going to get canceled. Just got an email November 3 stating my platinum is going to production the week of November 28. I was kind of looking forward to maybe getting the 2023. But then again I’m happy not having to pay $8000 more and waiting another 8 months for job 2 production.
