  1. I picked up my Glacier Gray F350 Platinum this evening. I actually love the color, pictures simply do not do it justice. I think modern phone cameras try to enhance the color and as a result add too much blue. There's definitely blue in there, but it's not near as offensive as most pictures make it look. If you look long enough you start to question if you're seeing gray or blue. It's that subtle. I'll add more pics if I take any that look more "realistic", but here's my new Platinum in two different lighting situations this evening (very overcast at sunset). The first picture despite being in terrible lighting is surprisingly accurate, it's clearly more gray than blue in that pic. The lower pic is next to the F150 I traded in and in real life I didn't see that much blue, the camera added it. My vote is, if you're on the fence but think you like the pictures you've seen in this thread, you'll be fine. It looks amazing in person.
  2. I wish I remembered the details better for you, but I have an F150 powerboost. About a month after I bought it I went to start it up and all hell broke loose on the dash with several errors. They were all related to "brake failure" and "e-brake unable to disengage" or something along those lines. It turns out my battery was low for some reason. This makes some sense for the hybrid because it relies on electric brakes, but I can't imagine that would be relevant with the super duty. Still, it might be an indication of something ELSE going wrong, not the thing the error is pointing at. In my case the truck refused to even try disengaging the ebrake because something else was failing. Never happened again after that thankfully.
  3. Might chat with your dealer to see what they can do; but their goals might be opposite yours and want the win before month close. However, "average" shipping I've read is 20-25 days so it's possible you'll get your wish. Mine is being built this week and so may ship by end of week or week after, so I'm guessing it might come second week of January.
  4. Did you try the link I posted? If you are clicking this one it doesn't work for me either: I had to manually copy and paste the following URL to a different site to get my window sticker. https://www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin= Don't forget to enter your own VIN after the = character so it pulls up your sticker. If that still doesn't work then maybe your dealer can get it for you.
  5. Mine moved the dot to "In Production" yesterday (with no date). Even today the sticker link on the tracker page says not available, but the link I found earlier in this thread definitely works: https://www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin= Just put your vin in at the end and it should show you your sticker. Which is good, because the tracker details about the vehicle are somewhat incorrect but the sticker itself is accurate.
  6. Based on @ClaudeSS's post on Page 9 I was thinking I might move to In Production without a date yesterday (7 days before week of build), but nothing yet. Maybe it's 7 days before the actual build date (which I wouldn't know since they only give a week of.) Your post indicates that flip could happen any day the week before the scheduled week. Good luck on your add-ons! Hopefully they fly through quickly.
  7. Not only adaptive cruise, but lane keep assist. I don't use lane keep while towing (my F150 has that & bluecruise), but for long drives like to pick up my son from college it takes a lot of the fatigue out of the trip. And adaptive cruise is GREAT while towing; I set it to 65, get behind a truck that looks like it knows what it's doing, and relax. If a trucker is slowing down, it's for a reason and I'm happy to be slowing down with them. To be fair, I didn't know I'd be waiting a whole year for my Platinum. I don't know that I'd do it again, but now that I'm a few weeks away from being built I am glad I held on. And the seat massage was a requirement for me getting a new truck from my wife, so I was sweating when they removed those in the Plats at the end of 23. As for the power steps -- you can configure them to always stay out if you aren't a fan of the power function. (At least, I can in my F150 and assume it's the same for super duty).
  8. Here's a youtube short with the color "in action". Our FIRST 2024 Super Duty is a Glacier Gray F-250 Lariat! #trucks - YouTube
  9. I don't think that's for the sticker, I believe that's for the module confirmation. Sticker is here: https://www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin= <-- paste your VIN from the email Ford sent you at the end of the link
  10. Did you go see it in person? It is very far from the picker on the web site, and that is stupid. The other colors seem pretty well represented, but this is straight up wrong. The color I want is the color Ford's builder showed, but oh well. I will be taking mine, because unlike you I don't already have a Super Duty to go home to and color isn't going to stop me. I'm sure it'll grow on me; I sent my 19 year old the pic you shared and he said "ooh, I like that!" so... at least one person out there likes it from the pics.
  11. I think I was afraid Glacier Gray would be more like "Diamond Blue" in that chart, which is just too baby blue for me but it looks like there's a bit more gray in the mix. Interesting though "Tidewater Aqua" looks pretty darn close to Azure Gray
  12. Thanks for sharing pics! I think I like it; it's not the color from the build site, but it's not offensive. I plan on putting a black RSI SmartCap on the back and I think the contrast is going to be pretty sharp. It's definitely light blue, but it's more of a clay tone so it doesn't seem too obnoxious in the sun.
  13. I think you're setting yourself up for frustration asking about other people getting scheduled. I came into this with a VERY wrong expectation that if I got "front of the line" I'd get built first. I was in there the morning the order banks opened on Oct 27 to order a '23 Platinum. I learned after a lot of reading here there is no "spot in line" and there are many elements that go into this. The science behind it is so obscured it may as well be throwing a dart at a board to determine if you'll get scheduled. And true enough, I never got scheduled for my '23 despite being in there on the first day. But I did get scheduled for my '24 the week after they put it in the system, whatever magic of allocation and features and priority came together for me this time. You could be scheduled through cosmic luck next month, or not at all for '24, but unfortunately it's almost impossible to catch a hint about your chances by asking others when they got scheduled; just false hope.
  14. Good to know -- that makes sense; I had misunderstood the point of pulling the data. So still useful as a sign of "it went live", but it's not a direct connection.
  15. Too many factors for anyone to predict; depends on the dealer you choose and their allocation, the trim you want, and the options you select and any part constraints they are under. Choose a dealer that you feel has good communication; they don't control when the truck will be in production but they can see what is happening with orders and guide you. A good resource if you want to learn all the buzzwords and the types of constraints the trucks are frequently under is the youtube channel "Long McArthur". Check the Scheduling Notes videos, they talk mainly about which builds are unlikely to be built due to specific features.
  16. There are a LOT of variables that go into determining when you'll get scheduled (dealer allocation availability, part constraints, and other cosmic dice) so no one here can really give you an idea. Priority 19 is the default priority; if I were to guess that's the most common code. Several of us here ordered '23 and never got them, but who knows how '24 is going. Ultimately I'd say since you ordered a Limited you are likely in for a long wait. This refers to a system to check in on the "call and response" of the networked modules in a vehicle. The site motorcraftservice.com/Home/SetCountry?returnUrl=%2FAsBuilt takes a VIN and then reports back any modules attached to that vehicle that are online. The only point is to confirm that the truck is actively being assembled as the data itself isn't really worth anything to us. But hearing a heartbeat is nice when you're expecting.
  17. That doesn't look as baby blue as I feared; that top picture is the best lit one and I think I like it. I'm looking forward for the first dealer to do a youtube video of it so I can see it in motion. I have a black RSI cap on order for it and think the black on that color will be a slick contrast.
  18. I'm almost afraid to check. I seems like it slides a week every time I refresh the page.
  19. My build date just keeps on sliding. I am almost afraid to look anymore as if I'll jinx it further, but it's not like it's unexpected. I'll keep my head down and someday I'll unexpectedly get an update saying it's in production.
  20. For anyone with a VIN waiting, it looks like they are starting to refactor build dates after the strike. Mine slide out 2 more weeks and isn't scheduled till the week of 12/4 now. That's not surprising at all; if things go well it won't slide any further and maybe I'll have a Glacier Gray Christmas.
  21. That is nice to be able to get a taste of some of the features and have a "do-over". I have the sunroof in my F150 and am absolutely keeping it for my F350, however I live in the PNW and it's the only light I get most of the year. It stays shuttered through most of July & August here, so I could see deleting it if I lived somewhere that was perpetually sunny. The news I was reading said they were told they can go back to their jobs while the votes were collected as it was expected to be approved. Maybe that was just hopeful reading. My build date has slipped 1 week since before the strike started, but I also assume they haven't done a refactor yet and come up with new dates post strike. So we'll see...
  22. Interesting timing, I was watching the order guide for the Platinum from Long Mcarthur and he calls out that Ford is still providing price protection for 2024: Video at the timestamp for price protection:
  23. Make sure you understand which part of the cost is protected -- I believe the protection by Ford mentioned above should be the MSRP of the vehicle itself. I ordered a'23 the day the order bank opened and while the truck was never built the MSRP never changed. The destination charge however went up twice over that year. It started at $1795, then $1895, and then $1995 (which is what my '24's destination charge is currently at, and who knows what that'll increase to after the strike.)
  24. Did your truck get shipped before the strike? Do you know when you'll be able to see it outside or are you on hold?
  25. I went to check my page for giggles and it did slide out a week. Originally supposed to be 11/6, now it's 11/13 -- I'm surprised I didn't get an email or anything. (I checked last Friday and it was still 11/6, so it looks like rescheduling can happen any day, not just Thursdays.)
