Toyota is developing a plug-in hybrid, Prius based.

I liked this sentence: "The Plug-in HV closely resembles a stock Prius .... " Since that car looked so good to begin with! :hysterical:

I guess the article says Toyota beat Ford/GM to the punch b/c they're road testing and Ford/GM aren't?

True, but we all know that if Ford or even GM would get it to the market first, it be a small, last minute report on any news channel, but if Toyota were to do it first, it'd be headline news

ex.

Toyota developed a plug-in hybrid  "It's a revolution!! Nobody's ever thought of this stuff before Toyota!!!"

Ford/GM developed a plug-in hybrid :reading: "Oh, thats nice"

:hysterical: That's funny. Your right they won't remember that GM had the concept at the autoshow first!

Huh? The Volt was covered on the primetime national news for all 3 networks when it was nothing more than an empty shell with a golf cart motor and a lead-acid battery. Let me know when you see a 7 minute segment about this vehicle on 60 Minutes.

When GM invites AP reporters to drive the Volt you will see the exact same coverage. No conspiracies or persecution involved.
