Furious1Auto
I read somewhere that the locals were asked not to negotiate until the national had been settled, I don't think it's working that way though because I read somewhere else that my local was engaged in negotiations! My local agreement(AAI) has been ratified for weeks now. Thats why I was wondering about other plants.
KWMJ-KTP
From what rumors I have heard, it sounds like KTP pretty much has a local deal ready to go, but I believe that they are waiting for the National Negotiations to finish up first. That's pretty much all I've heard about it so far.
Xtremesynthetic
Don't you have to have a national agreement before you can have a local agreement?
flint
Don't you have to have a national agreement before you can have a local agreement? Every local contract I've been a part of has been ratified prior to the National Agreement.
ibew124/uaw249
National Agreements trump Local Agreements. Because of this the local agreements are negotiated second so there isn't any conflicting language between the two agreements.
bigredogre
I know the locals were told all deal had to be reviewde by the national first ,to give approval
