TomServo92
What were the symptoms? Right before my grandma got rid of her '94 ATX, it was doing some weird things...almost like it was falling out of gear while driving down the road. It died on me at 60mph, and I could not restart it until I came to a complete stop. Then, it started like the day it was made. It only had 85K on it. Stumbling, erratic idle, stalling, difficulty starting. It sounds like you might have had one going out.

I think the car was doing three of those four (not too often however).
TomServo92
I think the car was doing three of those four (not too often however). Could have also been oil or water in the plug wells. That produces similar symptoms.
FordBuyer
Ever notice when Ford has a recall, it is on the front page of every news site. When the foreign brands have a recall, it is barely mentioned. You got that right. I must have heard about Ford's Recall 50 times today and in some cases was lead news story. Most recalls never make the light of day. Everytime Ford has one it is major news story no matter how insignificant the recall is.
