Guys, I have a 98 Grand Marquis and over the past month the blue high beam light on the dash says on after the car is started, but will go out if I turn the headlights on. Sometimes if I don't turn the headlights on and just drive with the daytime driving light on, the blue light will come off, but sometimes I also noticed the headlights and the blue high beam light flickers.

Any one else experience this, or have a solution on how to fix.

Thank you in advance.

I had this problem on one of my past Fords, either a Mustang or Thunderbird... I don't remember. Mine would get stuck on the same way but eventually it cleared itself up. I believe there was a lamp relay that kept getting stuck on occasion. I would look for a bad relay first if that doesn't fix it look for possibly a fault in the high beam dimmer switch. After that check all wiring connections.
