  1. You are at the point you are just being a condescending asshole... I don't think your sugar-coated approach with fake kindness and a bunch of emoticons is much fun nor is it genuine. It's much like the Southern Belle who went to charm school and learned to say "That's Nice" instead of "Fuck You!" This is the message that I really get from you... Anyway you are the very first person in all these years that I have been on this board that I have chosen to put on my Ignore List...
  2. My Mustang was optioned with the MyColor and I like it. It did not have the ambient lighting so I installed my own set for $30 using a combination of stock and dealer accessory spec locations. The 2009 Mustangs now package the MyColor and Ambient lighting with the Premium Package. The have recontented Premium Packages to include options that most people were taking. They still offer the less equipped Standard models. There is a Mustang for everyone and there is nothing wrong with Ford offering a wide range of options nor packaging them grouped together as most popular. Ford is becoming aware that in order to retain market share they will have to start including options that people want. Just because people need to step down to a smaller economical car doesn't mean they want less equipment or have less money to spend on a car itself. We are going to see a lot of more fully equipped smaller cars to sell along with the budget concious versions.
  3. I suppose with that much age the insides do get messed up, particularly the chromed reflective surface. Aftermarket replacement parts are an alternative as they are usually much less expesive than buying from Ford.
  4. While you are at it Timmm how about making us a version of the Focus with wood trim as a throwback to the 1976 Pinto that had it...
  5. The taillamps may simply be flexible enough to include the function of dual vertical back-up lamps for North American models while exported Mustangs use the outer white lens for amber turn signals.
  6. Well since this is what this thread is about.... LINCOLN MKY
  7. Here's the new smaller Mustang...
  8. I see a few more pieces of the puzzle are revealed. We now get to see the top dash pad has not changed, but we do see how the upper part of the center stack bezel will be detailed and I like it. Side window defrosters hae been moved to the doors. Basically what we are seeing is a reskin of the dash base using new bezels and it is effective. Rear end pictures now reveal the shape of the upper outer top corners of the taillamps and of course the lower bumper detail.
  9. Seems pretty much like the Iosis Concept. Ford competes with VW in Europe so this doesn't suprise me since VW now has the Passat CC four door coupe. Mondeo Coupe
  10. Check out this video! There is a Sentinel that is complete with an interior. It does look like folded cardboard. It's interesting that the Sentinel brought up the first ressurrection of the bow-wave grille. That was 1996. Many of the design elements are on the 98 Lincoln Town car. It's obvious to me that in 1996 the design of the 1998 Town Car was locked in at the time the Sentinel was released and it really was a preview of what was coming.
  11. Half assed concepts with no working interiors are fine for evaluating prototypes on manufacturers grounds. However to present something that is not detailed and finished to auto shows is a big no-no. I think Ford has done a good job with concepts of the recent 10 years. They just look complete and real.
  12. I have spent extensive time driving a 07 GTI with DSG and it's wonderful. What I liked the most is that you could creep along without feeling like you were coasting. You always have torque and always have the ability to control and maintain speed going down hills without riding the brake.
  13. I think Richard just enjoys your golden showers!
  14. He is just addicted to the drama and cannot resist truly putting you on ignore because he HAS to know what you are going to say next!
  15. It tested the waters for what was to become the Town Car.... A few of the suggested details survived into production. When the Sentinel was revealed we were still living in the world of a very boxy Town Car. Anyway that Ugly Sentinel looks like a half assed under-detailed mockup made out of cardboard. The nice thing is Ford does a much better job now of making concept cars that are well detailed and finshed that they look production almost ready and very believable... So much so that we are often disappointed when some don't make it to production.
  16. I knew that couldn't be a North American Ford feature...
  17. The center stack takes inspiration for 1967-68 with the rectangular center vents and the center stack surround wrapping up and accross the top just under the vents. I like the steering wheel design and the improved console. It also looks like they did a better job with the e-brake handle on this one. I am curious to see which parts will actually retrofit.
