  1. I still think the power train will be a 3.5 TT. Can't see then only using the HO version just for the Ford GT and Raptor. But hope I'm wrong and its a 5.0 or 5.2 TT. Or is Ford working on a smaller V8, maybe 3.2 to 4.0 Litre, with TT?
  2. So its less torque than the current 3.5? If the Naviagtor version is already making 460.
  3. http://www.motortrend.com/news/2016-cadillac-ct6-30tt-awd-first-test-review/
  4. The Flex should be turned into a awd minivan. I read some where it was originally designed with two sliding doors. MKT will most likely be the new 7 seater Aviator. Taurus has be to build along side the Conti. If it doesn't, then that would be one odd business plan. Unless the plan is to make Conti and Taurus a rwd sedan on cd6.
  5. Flex should be updated with an extended Edge wheelbase and styling. MKT should be updated with an extended MKX wheelbase and styling. Maybe their sales will increase.
  6. Nice list. I watch the original 1974 Gone in 60 seconds yesterday on YouTube. Pretty kool movie. Some nice classic cars in that one as well.
  7. This is the best looking sedan Ford/Lincoln has ever built. Can't wait to own one. Looks like a XJ and an A8, but I think they did a great job. I think there is no way Ford is building this car alone, a Taurus and a Falcon will also be getting on this platform to spread the cost.
  8. Makes sense, this should of happened for the 2015 model year. They will continue to dominate the market if it gets the v6 diesel.
  9. I thought by now we would get some info on the next GT500, but since there's a lot of rumors about the drive train, and no official word from Ford. I think the article might be correct and the it may share the 3.5 EcoBoost with the GT supercar. AWD might be kind of kool with that much power. If the 3.5 EcoBoost can make over 600 hp, will Ford actually invest in an EcoBoost V8? Personally I'm for the V8.
  10. Was there any doubt that the GT350 R was going to win. Very impressive. Need this engine in a sport sedan.
  11. Finally a great looking product from Lincoln. Now Lincoln needs a performance division, The Red Label sounds good. 3.0 TT for the MKZ and Conti and 3.5 TT for the Red Label, then we can give the V Series some competition.
  12. What I still don't get, why the Mustang is still only available with a 6 speed auto? The Challenger has a 8 speed since 2015, now the Camaro has a 8 speed, why is Ford always behind? We keep hearing they are working on a 10 speed, when are we going to see it. This is where I think Ford/Lincoln lags behind the industry. Crappy transmissions. The 5.0 needs more HP and torque as well. Might be 2010 all over again, Ford launches a re-design Mustang and did't upgrade the drive train until 2011. New Camaro comes out with more powerful engines and stole the sales crown away from the Mustang. Hope history doesn't repeat it self again.
  13. Just was looking at this. Ford now has a higher market cap than VW. Ford Open 13.14 High 13.21 Low 13.01 Mkt cap 53.48B P/E ratio 14.1 Div yield 4.59% VW Open 96.90 High 101.45 Low 94.36 Mkt cap 51.25B P/E ratio 4.4 Div yield 5.11%
  14. I think the next gen 3.5 TT will only be for RWD applications, F-150,F-250, Navi, Exped and Mustang. 2.7 TT will be for FWD/AWD applications. 3.0 TT will be only for Lincoln, Cont, MKZ, MKX and Aviatior.
  15. With the Fusion getting the 2.7 TT, this thing will be quick. If the Edge sport can run 5.5 0-60, then this the Fusion might be in the high 4's. Faster than the SHO. It's about time the Fusion got a performance version.
