Edstock Posted May 2, 2008 Share Posted May 2, 2008 (edited) OTOH, I loved the 67 Mark IV GT (which was all American designed - unlike the Mark II) which won LeMans with Gurney/Foyt at the wheel. THAT's the GT40 design that should have been used by Ford - probably the single greatest American car ever produced. Yes indeed! Too bad Superformance doesn't make a replica. Oh, and one more thing, the 427 block was similar enough to the other FEs--with a deep skirt & cross bolted mains just like the mods. I've been underneath a couple GTs, and I can tell you they are a true supercar in every way... even underneath the skin.
